Went to Gower from the KC area and decided to eat local, try something new. Place is neat, clean. Staff was friendly enough but not stellar. The girl at the counter disappeared after charging us and no staff was seen the rest of our visit. There were 6 pizzas, a salad bar and one sweet option. The pizza seemed old. The crust was NOT fresh, even the calzone seemed that. Over $30 for two people, way too expensive for a lunch with such limited option and lack of variety. I'd gladly stick with Pizza Street, super tasty, way cheaper, many more options in pizza and also desserts.I want to believe we happened to stop by on a bad day, but this is my honest review. Would not stop again.

Found a black hair in our food yesterday. 🫣 🤮 Yes, we called the store and reported it, and then the owner found a relative on Facebook, and I reached out.

Absolutely fantastic. Good food, pleasant staff, and really clean. Pretty fast service and good portions for the price. We ordered pizzeria style crust with hamburger, 1/2 Canadian 1/2 chicken, and cinnamon sticks. All cooked to perfection. Will definitely eat here again next time we are in town. The 4 of us were full and still had 1/2 of the cinnamon sticks left plus a whole pizza left.

Arrived close to closing after a football game on Monday night. Food was great. Will definitely be making a another visit. Thanks for your service.

Pizza place in a small town with average pizza but portion sizes are way way to big there breadsticks at 5.99 could feed one person as it's the size of a medium pizza there stromboli could feed 3 easily proublem is the taste is average. For a small town it's okay but a 20 minute drive you can get pizza alot better flavor amd price there is no mask mandate there which is allso concerning as it seems the owners dont care about social distancing

Simple Simon’s by far is the best. From the food to the staff, I haven’t found any better. I drive almost an hour round trip just for their food. I’ve yet to find something on their menu that I didn’t like, or was bad. I highly recommend the wings, they are the best. I also have to give mad props to the owner and his wife. They are always extremely kind, and go above and beyond for their customers.

This is probably the best pizza place in the area! The cleanliness of the dining area and bathrooms are easily the best I've seen! The staff was exceptionally friendly and courteous! Finally, the pizza is head and shoulders better than anything I've had anywhere near Gower! Absolutely recommend stopping here!

UPDATE BASED ON OWNER RESPONSE: The staff was SO kind. They always are. The pizza quality was off that day, maybe that’s why the crust seemed off?? The quality just was not usually what we get. I guess quality, taste, and smell can be reviewed by camera idk?? The pizza is usually outstanding. Apparently it’s frowned upon to misspeak about the order. A male jumped on the phone, because the male “manager” wasn’t very friendly and not understanding. If it were my establishment. I may have offered money back for the 2 liter the customer never got. Just me, maybe that’s how they make a profit 🤣 5 stars to the staff, they’re great. 1 for the owners attitude, you can see in previous “bad” reviews, he has an answer for everything. God bless. I hope they can turn around the attitude and ego. The food is typically very good. VERY RUDE OWNER. We’ve always enjoyed Simple Simons until last night. We even drive a total of 40 minutes for it. Last night I placed an online order for a Large pizza, light sauce, pizzeria crust and pineapple. A calzone and a 2 liter. The pizza had more than light sauce, and pineapple only on half of the pizza. Our crust was also wrong. Our calzone was just meh. Not like the usual we get. We also forgot to grab our 2 liter. Our fault. Anyway, that was all fine. Mistakes happen. I call today, explain to the manager the quality of our food. She states she will call back. We then get a call back from Matt/Matthew (The owner). He immediately jumps to “I watched the cameras the pizza was made exactly to order, you ordered the pizza with only half pineapple, I see from the camera you didn’t grab your 2 liter. What’s the problem” it was very accusatory, tone and all. Like we were trying to get a free pizza out of him? I said the half pineapple must have been my mistake when ordering online, I did not realize. He said “you told the manager you had NO pineapple” another very accusatory statement. Just weird. The overall quality was poor. He continued to say the pizza was made correctly from the cameras.. offered no solution. He didn’t care we drive 40 minutes & back often to get pizza from his store. We won’t be back.
