The mosque is spacious and has a peaceful and calming atmosphere. It is also very clean, and the wudu facilities are spread across three floors. The mosque is conveniently located close to the public transport and Flagstaff station. Overall, I feel at home when I attend this mosque, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a place to pray in the city.

If you are looking for a mosque in Melbourne CBD, this is the ideal place. Very spacious and multi story building. Near Flagstaff garden. Have the wazoo facilities. The picture of prayer time is with daylight savings so the timing will be one hour before as shown in the picture.

They have simple prepacked food for daily iftar, women section is on the third floor. Usually visitors break fast with water, dates, some fruits first then wait for a call to perform Maghrib prayer together. After Maghrib prayer, enjoy the meal, wait until Isya, then tarawih. The tarawih’s sequence is: - 2 rakaat - 2 rakaat - short sermon by the imam - 2 rakaat - 2 rakaat - 2 rakaat witr - 1 rakaat witr

OFFICE FOR THE ISLAMIC COUNCIL OF VICTORIA (ICV) ICV is headquartered here and there is an onsite mosque that is quite popular. Jeffcott St is a small street with limited parking but you get to the ICV building very easily from Flagstaff Station ( a two minute walk). Staff are very friendly and helpful.

Great mosque/masjid in the middle of a bustling city enables workers, students, teachers and any other professionals to do their prayer daily. I came here especially for my jummah prayer. The masjid held 3 sessions of jummah prayer. At 12 pm, 1 pm and 2 pm. Its so practical and easy to do you obligatory prayers. The mosque is well managed and full of facilities.

Easy access but hard to find parking good place for Muslims to pray in the city. You need to find parking across the streets. It’s paid parking until 11 pm otherwise you can find a Wilson Parking across the Jeffcott Street it is easy to be accessed via flagstaff train station or multiple tram stations nearby

I went here once as a student more than 15 years ago, came back again this time and it was cold as ever. It got more organized now but the water and temperature inside the building was still colder compared to outside. It was clean, good signages around to inform if you're on your correct floor. I'm not sure about the praying area for the sisters who have physical disabilities.

This Masjid is the attraction for my living in its vicinity. Normally I ensure joining the jamat. However, the affairs seem quite mismanaged these days. Fajar and Isha timings are missed up and are not observed as displayed on website/ signage board. This has been causing anguish for losing jamat. I insist ICV to ensure addressing the glitches.

Used to pray here back in 2019 when I was time-poor due to job obligations in the CBD. Let me say if you are Hanafi like myself this is not even close to the best place to pray in Melbourne CBD, use the musallah on Queen St instead. Many brothers here come barefoot and touch their toes to yours during namaz (praying with barefeet is makruh in our madhab and touching toes is not part of our fiqh of namaz, but that aside, even before COVID it was disgusting). Carpet has a terrible odour and desperately needs a steam cleaning. Ablution facilities looked atrocious, I always did wudhu in the washrooms of my workplace beforehand, didn't even want to chance it and get a cutaneous fungal infection nauzubillah. Toilets have no paper towels to dry your hands either. During iftar one evening they had a guest speaker from Crescent Wealth Super Fund as well, and during his speech he expressed support for the Wahhabi groups in the Syrian war, I felt disgusted and left abruptly that evening, never thought I'd hear such things in Australia. Finally, the timing of Asr namaz is calculated using the methods of the other 3 madhabs, not Hanafi. All around not great considering they claim to represent all of the Muslims in Victoria. Avoid unless absolutely necessary. Might I suggest the Albanian mosque in Dandenong as an excellent alternative (strict Hanafi rules and beautiful Ottoman style)!

The space is used very well, and the facilities are well equipped. There is still room to improve. However, up to my knowledge it's the only masjjed in the CBD.
