Dr. Daggett is one incredibly special Surgeon. His bedside manner is simply exceptional! Friendly, funny, very detailed, but most importantly for me, he knew how to put me at ease, and that is not easy to do. He is also immensely good at what he does! Trust me, not all of them are. If I could only recommend one Surgeon, I will pass on my two sisters and give him the nod. He is that special!

Fantastic office. Everyone is so very caring from the moment you call until you leave. The Physician's Assistant are highly trained and do a awesome job when I have a problem but don't really need to see the surgeon. Dr Roberts has great bedside manner and is a great listener, when issues do a rise he's great about ordering the right test for the best results. I love Sano Orthopedic!

Such a great place to go for issues dealing with hip pain. The staff are friendly and professional. The best part is the surgeon I see, Dr. Roberts; he is so knowledgeable, understands your problems, answers your questions and clearly cares about the pain I have been going through and wants to help resolve my problems. I would recommend Sano Orthopedic to everyone!

Everything from scheduling to post-op appointments was extremely efficient. Getting an appointment, waiting room time and rooming time, and seeing the provider was very prompt. I loved the text messaging system. It was never long before I had my response from anyone related to business or medical care. Dr Witte (and Jessica) was very kind and professional. We were so glad he agreed to see my just turned 14 year old daughter as a second opinion. His plan of care was drastically different than the local children’s hospital sports med opinions on my daughter’s pitching shoulder. He was compassionate yet openly honest in what our next steps should be to get her back to her love of all sports with full participation and expected time frame. As a family nurse practitioner, I have referred others to him and other Sano providers, and will continue to do so. I would not hesitate to use Sano again for my family or friends.

Everyone was very friendly and helped get me in very quickly. Surgery went well and follow up from office has been fantastic. Dr Dempewolf was amazing explaining what he was going to do and really cared about my understanding and well being

My mother had hip surgery in March with Dr. Roberts. No x-ray was taken before the follow up which was tele med with his nurse. No progress info because no information. A Dr. visit was scheduled for follow up. Traveled for an hour and hired transport (out of pocket) for appointment. Did not x-ray because of insurance. I think this was wrong info. So again no progress report or information exchanged with patient. MRI scheduled for her spine. Went and had MRI done a week ago same deal drive and out of pocket transport costs. And after leaving messages at office, just received a text that Dr. Roberts has not reviewed it yet. Amazingly I received a call to schedule an appointment with the spine team but couldn’t tell me why. ??? My mom is 101. Would I recommend this surgeon. No.

We took my father-in-law to Sano orthopedics because he injured his hand and cut a tendon. He is 87 years old and blind and the doctor and staff were very courteous and compassionate to him. He was very pleased with the care he received.

Dr Dempewolf is incredible. He is a natural teacher and takes the time to explain every step of treatment. I had a left total shoulder replacement and it’s the best decision I could have made. He is also one of the most personable Dr’s I’ve ever had. I have complete trust in him. Megan, APRN is also fantastic. She is so caring and engaging. I really appreciate the energy she brings. It’s very calm and positive.

Both Dr. Daggett and his PA Sarah have been very kind and helpful with my rotator cuff repair surgery and the beginning of my rehab. They answered all my questions and thankfully seem to be pretty aggressive with helping me regain full use of my arm, with physical therapy starting 2 weeks after surgery. All staff at the Sano office have been friendly and helpful, as well.

I was warmly welcomed by the front desk staff. The medical staff took excellent care of me. Dr. Cullen discussed all of my options and answered all of my questions. He has a wonderful, gentle manner. I am grateful for his care of me.

Love Dr Palmer, Sam and Hanna! They take time to really listen to you and develop an appropriate plan for your needs. They are taking very good care of me and as I am in the medical field myself, I know how important this is!

The process takes way too long. Took 30 days to get into for an appointment. After the initial consult it took 2 weeks for them to get the order to DIC for me to schedule an MRI. Once they received the MRI results it took 2.5 weeks to get an appt to discuss the results. The result being pain mgmt with shots. They advised it could take 2 weeks to get my info to the pain clinic so that I could schedule it. If you are so busy that it takes 2 weeks to input info and send to the appropriate people then you should take on less patients. Very frustrating process. At the end of the day it took 2.5 months for me to learn all I need is shots to help me.

On time......i think I waited a minute before being called back. Efficient, very friendly and knowledgeable staff, who listen, explain and work with you on a plan forward. Such a relief to find a practice who care about their patients. Highly recommend this Practice.

I just had hip replacement surgery and my surgeon, Dr Rob Comrie, was wonderful! He’s not only a great surgeon - He’s so professional and empathetic and patient. The practice is very well run - all the people are friendly and warm. I can gladly give both my doctor and this practice 5 stars!

Dr Palmer was absolutely amazing! He took time to discuss the concerns I initially had, and through our discussion, determined that I had another condition. He discussed all available treatment options and developed a plan to help resolve the issues. It is very obvious that he truly cares for his patients. I will continue to drive the almost 3 hours each way for any Orthopedic needs I have to see the group at Sano!

The office in general is great and are very kind. Their new facility looks like it will be an amazing place! Dr Dempewolfe went above and beyond to be carrying and answer any question we had. We never felt rushed at any of the appointments! 10/10 recommend!

I had an appointment yesterday at Sano. I was having a steroid shot in my hand. It couldn’t have gone better. The X-ray techs were super efficient. I saw Hannah, Dr Palmer’s PA. She was really good and the procedure was pretty painless and quick. She was also very personable. I would definitely recommend this office for any orthopedic procedures.

I went to Sano Orthopedics for a fractured radial head in my elbow. Dr. Palmer did my surgery and from what I can tell he did a fantastic job. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone who has any orthopedic problems. They took the time to answer my questions to make sure I knew what was going on everyone there is extremely nice and treats people with the upmost respect. Fantastic place.

Quick scheduling and all intake paperwork was done before appointment. Quick turnaround from X-rays to seeing the doctor. Dr. Cullen was excellent and provided great guidance. 5 stars all the way around.

  • 5/5 Kim T. 11 months ago on Google
I was taken to a room before I could even sit down after checking in and the wait for Dr Cullen to come to the room was minimal. He thoroughly explained what he thought was going on and what his plan was moving forward. I didn’t feel rushed or like he didn’t have time for me. I’ve been to both the LS and the KS offices and had excellent service at both. Highly recommend.

During September and November, I had both knees replaced by Dr Roberts from Sano Orthopdics and at St Lukes Hospital. Both surgeries and following PT at St Lukes were extremely successful and professional. Dr Roberts, his staff and all the people involved at St Luke's were wonderful, helpful, friendly and professional. I would highly recommend both places and Dr. Roberts for any orthopedic need.

Everyone was so friendly and helpful with all my questions! CTS surgery went well and they all talked to me to help keep me calm! Communication was prompt and professional! I recommend Dr. Palmer and his team, as well as Sano Orthopedics!

I rarely leave reviews but I had to praise Sano! I went in for an injury to my hand. Not only was everyone compassionate and kind, but I was in and out in under 30 minutes, including x-rays! If you need emergent Ortho care, look no further!

Update on my review: I so appreciated Dr Palmer calling and leaving a voicemail with an apology. I felt it was only fair to come and edit my review. Dr Palmer personally calling himself and leaving a voice mail message gave me a different perspective. It made me realized that even he may have had a rought day after all he is human too. But thank you Dr Palmer for reaching out to me. I was referred to Dr Palmer regarding my hand and pinky to get to the cause of the pain after a fall. The place was nice and the ladies that check you in was very sweet and caring all the way up to the nurse. X-Rays were taken and thats when Dr Palmer came in. He came in and ran me through like I was in a drive thru fast food place. I didnt feel like he took the time to care or explain things nor did he really seem to care about my concerns. He just looked at the place of injury and forced the area to bend. He didnt care how painful it was and then told me to see a physical therapist and buddy tape and said if it wasnt getting any better to come back but never said to follow up that I was free to leave. Very unhappy with the care I recieved and would never go to again. I could go thru a drive thru fast food resturant and recieve the same care but only come out with the results and that would be my food order.

Absolutely THE BEST sports Ortho medical facilities in KC Metro! Dr. Dempewolfe and his staff are amazing. Courteous, prompt responses, can tell immediately as patient they are all about meeting your needs and care about you. Dr. Witte and his staff are phenomenal as well. Their expertise and level of attention to detail are 2nd to none. When faced with traumatic health issues, reassuring to know top notch physicians have your back. I would not hesitate in the least to recommend Sano for your Ortho needs.

Dr Daggett, Sara and all of their staff are amazing! They're patient, understanding and will make sure that your health is a priority! If I have a need after I get healed from my rotator cuff & tendon repair, without a doubt I'll go back to Dr Daggett with Sano Orthopedics!!

The straight forward approach that Dr. Witte gave was great! The information and knowledge of Witte and staff is unmatched. Some of the best customer service I've had as I prepared and completed my total knee replacement.

The BEST ortho docs. Dr. Daggett & Dr. Tim Roberts are first of all, wonderful human beings! Secondly, excellent practitioners. I haven't seen the other practitioners, but if they are of the same demeanor & skill, don't hesitate to see them. I will not go anywhere else. The office staff & radiologists are so pleasant. 10 Stars

Took my daughter to the urgent care. Was able to make an appt online the night before. Front desk was friendly and efficient. She got an xray and was roomed right away. Sara, the PA, diagnosed her issue clearly, and made arrangements for additional imaging. We felt very well taken care of. I would absolutely recommend.

Dr. Stephanie De Vere is a great surgeon and an even better person. Her communication and availability to answer any and all questions made me feel secure and put me at ease. That is saying a lot coming from someone who is not fond of hospitals. I’ve been though all kinds of operations and doctors and I can say without hesitation that the level of care I received, and am still receiving, from Dr. De Vere and her team is the best I’ve experienced.

It was recommended that I get a Unicompartmental Knee replacement (aka partial knee replacement) because of the severity of my meniscus tear. Dr Robert’s has been fantastic in explaining the procedure, the surgery itself and the recovery process. Dr Robert’s even personally reached out to me the day after surgery (a Saturday) to see how I was doing and answer any questions I had. I would highly recommend Dr Robert’s to anyone needing knee work!

I ruptured my Achilles right before Christmas of 2021 and this was a hard injury for me to handle with my busy schedule, but Dr. Cullen did an amazing job at making the process easy and seamless! He was able to quickly get me into surgery and he handled the healing process with care and caution. I highly recommend Dr. Cullen and the staff at Sano Orthopedics!

We were sent to the Sano Orthopedics Urgent Care office in Lee's Summit yesterday from our primary office. Absolutely thought being a walk-in clinic I was prepared to sit awhile...not only were we in and out quickly, but it was a fantastic visit with great service from the front desk staff. The doctor was kind, informative and friendly. Thank you for making a day less stressful despite a kid with a broken finger.
