Absolutely breathtaking tour and so informative. Did the one day great ocean road tour and it was amazing. So glad we did this as we didn't have much time in Melbourne - hands down the best thing we did whilst here. Loved it.

This tour was nothing less than sensational. Paul Anderson is everything that one could ask for in a guide. He is witty and full knowledge of the history as well as the flora and fauna of the south coast of Australia. Each traveler on the Great Ocean Road tour is made to feel like an honored guest. From morning tea at a secluded beach, to a guided walk through a rain forest to the grand finale at the Apostles, Paul saw to it that everything was done in a first class manner. We had sufficient time at each stop to take in the sights and marvel at the beauty of the scenery. We even saw koalas in the trees by the Kennet River The small group setting in a clean and comfortable Mercedes made the time fly by. We could not have been more pleased with our selection of Escape Discovery Adventures!

Our family's visit to Phillip Island to see blue penguins was a once-in-a-lifetime journey. Paul led our semi-private tour and the excursion was FANTASTIC! The custom tour van was spacious and comfortable. The journey was a full day, but it was filled with a several awesome stops along the way. We stopped by a small town to pick up some lunch where we grabbed some fish and chips, that hit the spot. Paul introduced the tour group to some vanilla fingers that were a scrumptious local treat. Next, we visited a wildlife preserve that I think is a sweet gem of the tour. The preserve is off the beaten path so wasn't crowded and the animals were well cared for. The kangaroos weren't over fed so were actually interactive to your offerings of roo food. The Aussie animals were out, active, and in a setting very representative of their wild habitat. The wombats and echidnas were sooo adorable. The Tasmanian devil's looked ferocious. . . thank goodness for enclosures! Paul's tour of the compound shed interesting and educational light on the wildlife seen. The highlight, of course, was the blue penguins! Our kids couldn't stop squealing with delight at the parade of little waddling penguins as we saw them come in with the wave onto the beach and waddle their way up the paths to their burrows. DEFINITELY something to witness in your lifetime, especially if you're an animal lover. It's memory you'll never forget! Paul was very friendly, approachable, sprinkling in great tid bits of knowledge and trivia about sites, relaying some interesting history, and sharing stories that help his tours really connect with the animals seen and places visited along the way. I would HIGHLY recommend Paul's tour. Thank you, Paul, for the awesome memories of our trip to Phillip Island that our family will treasure and remember forever!

I did the Great Ocean Road Daytour and i have to say that it was 100% worth the small additional charge in comparison to other, bigger tour companies as Paul had some knowledge to share about almost everything in Melbourne and about Australia in general. He definitely made the day pass really fast and we saw/did everything as promised. Would definitely recommend it!!

Great trip to Phillip Island including hand-feeding wallabies/ kangaroos and the Penguin Parade. Paul was knowledgeable but also was patiently and warm with all the passengers. It was a very comfy van and a fantastic day experience, thanks again Paul

Cannot recommend Great Ocean Road with Paul enough. So many laughs and a good amount of history - had set out for just a tourism experience with my mum and ended up having a fantastic memorable day. Not a boring moment with Paul!

Comfortable ride with reclining seats and plenty of room between. The long day didn’t feel long at all with our host Paul relaying many stories, history and interesting facts along the way. If you want an Aussie experience, Paul did this very well. We were lucky enough to spot koalas and an echidna and the Apostles are amazing. Some in my group did the helicopter tour and Paul was very accommodating to line this up as part of the tour. I won’t hesitate in taking another of Paul’s tours when again visiting Melbourne, the day was fantastic.

We had a great tour of the Ocean Road with Adam Firth leading us. The Ocean Road is a must do, and I strongly recommend doing it with Escape Discovery Adventures. Adam was a great tour guide. He was very entertaining; he provided interesting history and stories, and was willing to answer all questions. He even spotted kangaroos and koalas for us, The Escape Discovery tour van was really comfortable and the navy van was easy to spot in a sea of white buses and vans. And, of course, the locations are breathtaking… highly recommended!

This was a fantastic trip. Booked fairly last minute when first trip to Great Ocean Road was cancelled at short notice. Paul was super quick to confirm tour with easy pick up details. Small group of ten with loads of information. Met some lovely people. Paul was a fabulous driver and guide with great mixture of info and humour. Really tasty lunch included and a breakfast snack box. I was a single traveller. Felt very included. If you are looking for a Great Ocean Road trip do this one. And I’m guessing the other trips he does are also worth doing. I ran out of time otherwise I’d have been to Philips Island in a shot. Thank you Paul.

This was one of the highlights of our trip to Melbourne. Paul was an absolutely fantastic tour guide and truly made this experience one of a kind. He is incredibly knowledgeable, engaging, funny, and kind and took this trip to the next level. He also cares greatly about the health and safety of his guests. If I could give more than 5 stars I would, and definitely recommend this trip with Paul to anyone and everyone seeking a day trip to the Great Ocean Road. My partner and I had such an incredible experience thanks to him. He’s also a great photographer!!

Paul was an amazing guide for our tour to Phillip Island to see the Penguin Parade. He thoughtfully planned our rest breaks and was very informative on all the activities we did on the day. Nothing seemed to much for him. It was an absolutely amazing experience that I would be more than happy to go on again.

This is an amazing guided tour I have ever done so far. I had booked phillip island tour. Picked up on time and Paul was very informative. No rush had plenty of time. All the way through have gained lot of minute information. Highly professional and enthusiastic. I highly recommend taking up any tours from them. Its worth taking these tours than doing by self.

The day trip to Philip Island was wonderful. The guide Paul made the whole trip very enjoyable and gave many explanations about Melbourne and many other interesting things all the way to the island. Once on the Island we visited a park to be with animals such as kangaroos, wallabies, Koalas and finally to see the little penguins coming out of the sea and going to their burrows. I highly recommend this excursion. The experience is unforgettable.

Had an absolutely wonderful tour of the Great Ocean road with Paul. Warm, engaging, knowledgeable and funny! The transportation was fantastic being a smaller group and learnt a lot of great facts and history of coastal Victoria. Highly recommend!

My wife and I spent two days with Paul. Firstly to the Great Ocean Road and secondly a wine tour seeing the beautiful countryside and with a fabulous lunch. I cannot speak highly enough about Paul. He was friendly knowledgeable and had a great sense of humour. He took time to show us koalas and kangaroos in the wild. His vehicle was spotless and he was punctual on meeting times. He cares about the health and safety of his customers and went out of his way to make sure everyone was comfortable. I would thoroughly recommend his tours for anyone travelling to Melbourne

Second time doing the Great Ocean Road With Paul at Escape tours. Paul puts in 110% and engages so well with the travellers . His knowledge of the history of Melbourne and all the way down the coast is superb ! he makes the tour fun and you don’t feel like you’re just a number on a tour bus. Highly recommend this place !

I had a fantastic day with Paul. Even though I had signed up for a group tour day trip to Great Ocean Road, due to COVID it was just me on the tour. However, Paul was still willing to take me and made it such a great day. He was very knowledgeable and flexible to whatever I wanted/ needed to make the most of the trip. I have requested to work with him again on Saturday. I would definitely recommend working with him and look forward to doing so again!

Went on the Phillip Island Tour and Paul was amazing! Great conversations and so knowledgable on everything, had the best tips for us to get the most of our trip! He also made sure we could take our time and enjoy everything at our own pace. The animals were the absolute cutest, and the views were stunning. It was our best guided tour ever. It was fun, educational and comfortable. Paul took good care of our group, including our kids aged 6, 12 & 16. We had a great experience that we will remember forever. We also thank him for introducing Vegemite ice cream to my 12 year old son, of which he enjoyed a lot. 🍦 We hope to have a tour again with Paul. I had a great experience with the Great Ocean Road tour. Our tour guide, Paul, was very friendly and highly knowledgeable. He told us a lot about the history of the great ocean road and all the stops. The van that we toured in was very spacious and comfortable. Highly recommend!

A great tour! Brandon was a very thoughtful and passionate guide. My husband and I were travelling with a baby and were slightly apprehensive about such a long day out initially. But brandon made the journey a breeze for us -- he had a car seat and even brought a stroller that we could use and frequently drove the car near to where we were. We particularly enjoyed the scenery and rainforest walk. Brandon was also passionate about the history of Great Ocean Road which makes the trip really enjoyable. Kudos to you for such a successful tour!
