Mr. Kentopp was great with my 14 year old son. He is very knowledgeable, great personality, takes time to ask questions, and is thorough with recommendations. He's great with kids which was really important to us. Definitely recommend and would go back anytime. Entire office was super nice.

A well organized and efficient registration area. Waiting time was short. Time in the exam room was also well organized. My exam time by Barry was excellent. He was relaxed, friendly and intelligent. I was very impressed with the walk-in clinic at the KC Bone and Joint clinic in Overland Park. It was such a better option than a walk-in urgent care for the issue I was having with my shoulder. There was a very short wait to be seen. I saw Barry L. Kentopp, PA-C. He had an amazing knowledge and I was able to get a diagnosis and referral for follow-up. He was able to treat me that day in the office. X-rays were done onsite and extremely quickly. I would highly recommend!

Used Urgent Care. Beginning with a phone conversation late in the evening to see if I could be seen that same evening, to the staff at the front desk, to Dr. Barry Kentopp, they made it a seamless and efficient process. They were knowledgeable and very helpful. I am glad my physician recommended me to go to KCB&J.

Refused our insurance. When I talked to my insurance co. they said “you have a PPO, you can go out of network anywhere.” It’s right on the card.

Suffered a very painful injury after a rather difficult fall while competing in some physical activity. Went straight to the emergency room and after the staff had difficulties diagnosing the injury (Grade II/III AC Joint Separation), they recommended I go straight to Orthopedics NOW! Kansas City Bone & Joint Clinic and be treated by Barry Kentopp. The wait room staff was very friendly and extremely accommodating given my situation. Barry was able to see me within 5 minutes of my arrival, and immediately reviewed the x-rays and was quickly able to rule out certain potential injuries and focus on the actual issue. Barry was able to address the immediate issue of pain (top 5 most painful injuries I've experienced) and then focused my attention on follow up treatments and follow up visits. This place was top notch. Clean, friendly, quick, professional and very skilled with their craft.

I was seen by a doctor's assistant after being referred by an Orthopedic Doctor. He wants to take a "CONSERVATIVE" approach to fixing my right ankle. I went through the same thing with a doctor back in 2007 on my left ankle. After doing what the doctor wanted me to do, I had to end up having Reconstructive Surgery. Doctors sometimes don't listen to their patients. This assistant, Brandon, wants me to continue to be in pain for six to eight more weeks. I was not pleased at all today

A good option when you need immediate care for something that takes more expertise than going to an urgent care clinic.

The wait wasn’t terribly long and I was able to see Barry, get x-rays and a diagnosis quickly. Barry was friendly and a good listener. I would definitely go back.

KCB&J walk in clinic took great care of my son's injury promptly. The PA., Mr Kentopp made him feel at ease as he had a procedure to relieve his pain, and made excellent recommendations for treatment.
