The pay-off says “Brewed Next Door” and I am lucky that it is literally walking distance from my place. This Brewhouse is one of the very few independent craft breweries in inner-city Melbourne. We got a couple of beers for another Covid lockdown Zoom beers night! Monsieur Grey IPA is English IPA with an amazing smell of Earl Gray tea! Highly recommended. Looking forward to try their Blue Billy Amber Ale (unfortunately not available today) at their beer garden.

Just a little brewery and I was pleasantly surprised at their set up and their beers. Theo earl gray beer was actually very nice. I think you should pop in here and have a few beers if you can as it was great.

Just visited these guys for our first out of lockdown pint and we were not disappointed. The staff were so friendly, helpful and accommodating and clearly working their arses off with the new restrictions. Felt very safe and super relaxed in this new world. Beer was delicious and we grabbed some cans for tomorrow on our way out. Thanks for a lovely evening.

Nice microbrewery in quiet street in Kensington. Quite small with indoor and outdoor seating. Good Beer selection. Not busy when we visited on a Sunday afternoon.

Great staff, great beer and great spot for a stop. They also provide kegs of their beers that we use for larger get togethers. Any questions, ask Phil, he is all knowing about crafting a brew!

Great micro brewery. Excellent selection of brews to suit everyone. Some unique flavours if you’re looking for some inspiration. Plus, always a friendly dog there to pat.

Such a great place lovely environment with indoors and outdoor space. The owners were very accommodating of a last minute booking. Great beer options and plenty of other things as well wine, bubbles, spirits. BYO food makes it a great option for entertaining without the big cost. Couldn’t thank these guys more for their excellent service!

Lovely little brewery. I went there on a Sunday afternoon and it was very quiet and in a nice part of Kensington. Fantastic place for a quiet drink

Small, relaxed, unpretentious brew house. I never expected to find something this good tucked behind a railway line and the river in a semi industrial area. Looks like a place for locals and craft beer folk, but even if you’ve got an unsophisticated palate like me they’ve got you sorted; I challenge anyone to dislike their Rice And Easy lager.

The guy behind the bar allows you to try the beers before you buy! All the beers I had were top notch and would definitely buy again. Only neg was it was a Melbourne 37 degree day and they only had one fan buzzing around. Will I visit again? Yep, 100%

Nice spot Henry St have setup, very cosy. Some interesting beers, the sour would be the one I'd drink again, but the others are a bit pedestrian.

The Grey IPA is potentially the best beer in Melbourne. Cozy brewery, friendly staff... Can't ask for much more.

Lots of local range to sample and appreciate, definitely a brew here for everyone. They are also BYO food so you can order your favourite North Melbourne restaurants to the door and eat and drink.

Neat little joint tucked away off an alley, the Monsieur Grey is something very special in a world of complex beers. Get in for a sip!

Absolutely love the brews and atmosphere . The open fire makes for a great joint to go catch up with some mates in winter whilst sipping on some delicious beers

Fantastic brew bar with an impressive range of small batch brews. Wines and spirits. Great atmosphere and friendly chatty staff. The Secret Ale with locally grown hops is full flavoured with a touch of creaminess. The Blue Bill Amber Red will not disappoint with a deep colour and intriguing tastes. The venue is dog friendly.

Great staff, lovely brewery local in the industrial area of Kensington. Also friendly to dogs and families. Allow food to be delivered and eaten on site.

Wonderful micro brewery bar. 8 beers on tap priced around $6 for a pot which is very fair. Relaxed casual environment and the staff crazy friendly and welcoming. Beers were decent although nearby Bonehead is a step up in this regard. That said, you’d be mad not to combine both for a local mini crawl.
