OMG the food here is amazing! We tried to taste test everything but there are so many options! Even our picky eaters were too full for dessert when we left! Wonderful atmosphere, very attentive staff and a great experience. Highly recommend!

I'm not a vegan. I'm not a vegetarian. I love burnt ends, hamburgers, and chicken wings and I love Tree Hugger Kitchen. The food was delicious, the portions were generous, and the hospitality was great. I had the Buffalo Mac Wrap and Reuben Fries with the corned jackfruit (corned beef substitute) added and I loved them both. I'm definitely coming back so I can try the rest of the menu! Oh!... and save room for dessert! Not pictured here is the peanut butter tart I had after my meal. It was homemade and it was the perfect ending to an already perfect meal. Can't recommend this place enough!

I've been vegetarian for more than 10 years and this probably had some of the most delicious vegan food I've ever had! I've had the buffalo cauliflower bites (my absolute favorite), the chicken caesar wrap, the Baja fish tacos, and the BBQ Sammy. Everything was delicious and the quality of the ingredients were top-notch. The food was fairly priced for vegan food. The staff were kind and sweet. I did get the red velvet cupcake and although I felt it was overpriced, it was pretty good! I wish I lived in KC so I could go all the time. Highly recommend!

I generally eat pescatarian and my boyfriend eats everything on the planet except vegan isn't his #1 pick. He suggested we come back again and again. Until we try everything! That in itself is a five star rating. I absolutely LOVED the atmosphere of this place. Calm, relaxing, understanding. The lighting was also timid which is good for those who are anxious going new places. You felt at home here, not at a restaurant. The staff was so amazing! I can't wait to go back! (Not to forget nothing on their menu is above $13!!)

100000/10 This is the best vegan food I’ve ever had!!!! We drove an extra 45 minutes out of the way on our road trip because of the reviews and it was completely worth it. Best food we’ve had in a long time. Workers were super nice and our food was out quickly. There’s also a cute little outdoor dining area to hang out and eat. The only down side is we live 16 hours away, otherwise we would be eating here all the time!

By far best vegan food, absolutely,hands down, it was deliciousness in every bite. Thank you tree hugger truck for coming to my rescue in our cross country road trip. Even the meat eaters I was traveling with were sold on the deliciousness. We had the BBQ, Double trouble, Fish tacos, Reuben, loaded tots and the peanut butter cake which the image doesn’t do it any justice( it was that good) I had to cut it in half to share and then we went back for another slice to go . Thank you!!!

A little expensive (though this is expected for vegan restaurants) but wow delicious food! I had the BBQ sandwich and it was great!

For the length of time I have been going I have enjoyed both the food and atmosphere. However, my last experience which seemed to be possibly new staff, my experience was one of the most horrific I've ever endured. I was so disappointed because I travel quite a ways to enjoy this experience. This was the delivery of my food from a disgruntled cook, after advising I wasn't alright with having my cheese, beans, and jalapeños all mixed in together. Because I spend so much money there maybe they'll reach out and I can update, edit this review.

Best vegan food with lots of great options snd large portions for the price. The staff is the best ever. I love everything I have tried here and the desserts are amazing also. Love Tree Huggers.

Such an amazing vegan spot!! Hidden gem for sure! There are so many things in their menu that I will definitely need to go back and try more things. The food we had was amazingly good. The staff there were super cool as well, and the environment was really cool and artsy and welcoming. I highly recommend this place for everyone, even those that are not vegan.

100% vegan restaurant. Impressive menu. Warps. Burgers. Tacos. Burritos. You name it. Also a rotation of pastries. We went to this place on our way to our hotel from the airport. Uber dude said this place used to be a subway. Wow. What an upgrade. Friendly staff. Clean place. Decor is pretty cool. But the food was really good. I got the Montecristo which is a deep fired triple decker sandwich and my wife got the fish tacos. Both really good. Definitely recommend it

Not bad if you’re craving plant-based fast food. The “meatloaf” sandwich and tacos were great. I like that this place isn’t a chain, you can tell that they care.

I'm not vegan or vegetarian, but am open to trying new things. I was not disappointed! From the minute I walked in I was greeted by a welcoming, casual decor and friendly staff. The menu has so many recognizable options it was hard to choose. I settled on the "phish" tacos which had been suggested by a friend. So yummy and portion was generous (leftovers are always a plus in my book). Check out their menu; so much variety. I will be back!

If I wasn't vegan before I definitely am now because this place not only had some great choices of food but the wrap I chose was so damn good, i literally wanted to get one of everything even though I never tried it. This place was my first choice, and by god, it didn't disappoint one bit. I'm only here for 5 days, but I can't wait to try something more and take the Buffalo Mac wrap to go 😋🤤. So delicious 😋

I love the their vegan chicken wings! I don’t even miss the real chicken. Staff are nice. The only thing I didn’t enjoy much was their music, it is always too fast and too upbeat, which makes it hard to enjoy your meal when music is wanting you to chew too fast. Overall, good dining atmosphere.

We got the Reuben, bbq Jack Sammy, peanut butter tart, and potato salad. Would get all of these dishes again - they were all amazing. Particular shout out to the peanut butter tart which was basically a giant Reece’s!

The best place with vegan food. The atmosphere is great, the owners are amazing and personable. Strongly recommend the Ultimate nachos with BBQ jackfruit and the burger as well.

The restaurant has very nice ambiance. The ranch burger was a little too salty but very tasty otherwise. Super nice server!

Wow, this place has it down! The food is fantastic! They have so many options, and you can't go wrong. I am always a little skeptical about jackfruit, as many people simply aren't able to capture the flavoring and cooking right, and I could hardly believe what an amazing job this place did. I had a hard time choosing what to get, and will certainly be back!! Nice work. Yum!

The ultimate nachos with vegan walnut meat is amazing. I have had it days and days in a row and crave it all the time. I plan to head there today at open time. And the staff is so friendly and the service is super fast. Best place for lunch dinner. I wish they had breakfast food but honestly I would eat the ultimate nachos for breakfast too hahaha! I highly recommend this place.

Cute little place. Love that it's all vegan! My husband and I really enjoyed the Reuben fries! They were so yummy! Seasoned fries and the dressing was like a thin fry sauce. My husband had the meatloaf sandwich which he liked. I ate the nachos. I love to get nachos but these weren't my favorite. Could have used more of the fresh tomato salsa and a little more heat for me. I liked that it was homemade cashew cheese but maybe a little too thick especially with the small amount of salsa. Wouldn't get those again but will definitely go back! Also had some dessert, sweet and good!

I never leave reviews but I felt called to leave a review here. THEY WERE INCREDIBLY KIND WITH MY NUT AND COCONUT ALLERGY. I went today and the service was immaculate. They were so considerate with cross contamination and I felt so safe and protected here. I got the KC BBQ Sammy (no coleslaw because it has nuts) with fries I melted. Delicious is the word. There fries are huge and the Sammy was so filling. Definitely going back! Thanks again, you all are awesome! P.S make sure to ask for the menu of nut, coconut, and soy free options because they have a list or what you can order.

Great food!! Highly recommend. The service was also great and the Cesar wrap was crazy good.
