We had the best day! The dinosaurs were so realistic for most little kids. My boys absolutely loved it! There is a big area for eating and for also a soft play area for smaller children. You almost won’t have enough time to see it all. But it’s definitely worth it!

We visited the Paradise wildlife park to do a Tickle a Tapir experience. It's a lovely park. Lots of food places. Good exhibits and viewpoints for the enclosures. The experience was amazing. The keeper Joe was so friendly and very informative. It was lovely to meet Tim and Tamara the Tapirs. They were very content to be fussed over. The Tigers were active and one was even taking a dip in the pool which apparently is relatively rare. We didn't do the dinosaur walk but it looked really good. A great place to take children as there are lots of play parks etc. All staff we encountered were really friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend a visit if you're in the area.

I booked a day here for my partner's birthday yesterday. It was our first time going. I booked for myself, my partner and my daughter. There is ample parking, albeit some people genuinely don't know how to park! 😂 But we found a space in the overflow parking with little issue. I booked for my partner to do one of the experiences (Feed A Big Cat) as a birthday present which was amazing from start to finish. We were offered drinks on arrival and then we were walked to the lion enclosure by one of the keepers. He proceeded to talk us through the experience and tell us about the lions. My partner got very lucky because 3 of the 4 lions came over! And I was able to observe and take pictures and videos with no problem whatsoever. After the experience we explored the rest of the park and were happy with how many animals we saw and the conditions they were in. We got to the penguins just in time for their feeding so that was great to watch too! I would love to go back again once they've finished their bear and leopard enclosures!

This is one of the best Zoos around, simple as that! For young children it’s brilliant, so clean and well maintained - plenty of things to see and do, plus the soft play and multiple play areas help to keep them entertained. The park is laid out in a way it always feels like an adventure. You turn a corner and suddenly there’s a massive monkey enclosure, or a big bird display area. The dinosaur adventure is fantastic too, combined with the train ride entertained the little ones for ages. My only criticism is the lion enclosure feels a little small .. we had an amazing view of 3 beautiful white lions but perhaps their enclosure could be bigger. I didn’t try the food, there’s plenty of places for picnics and I always find it easier bringing our own stuff. Will definitely coming back when the beat enclosure opens

This turned out to be a really enjoyable day out. The staff were very very friendly, the Keepers knew their animals and were happy to tell you about them. Nothing was too much trouble. The park was clean and kept clean the animals were wonderful and so enjoyable to watch. I'd like to thank the young lady with the porcupines, forgive me I can't remember your name, and Dennis with the Lions. The Speedway museum is closed on Mondays ( the day I went) but the young lady managed to ask somebody to open it especially for me to look in it, as I had gone to see it and also the animals. I recommend Paradise very, very highly, enjoyable day out, the staff are well trained and I cannot speak more highly of them. The food was good and reasonably priced, again with very happy to help staff. I came away very happy with my day out.

Really nice zoo ,went in half term and wasn't to busy, zoo was clean and tidy staff was very friendly and polite . We saw an array of animals from lions to snakes to the cute family of otters my daughter liked the baby otters the best . The dinosaur walk was good ,the dinosaurs move and roar (not all but most) which made it that much better as an experience for the kids . We did the zoo plus stop for lunch etc in a couple of hours, probably need 3-4 hours depending on your family ,but it's nice as it's not too big great for younger children, in my opinion, as younger children can tire easily and get bored . There are talks in the day at certain times about the animals if you want to listen watch . And in school holidays there are live shows on stage ie singing and dancing and you can meet rex the dinosaur 🦕. There a couple of play areas ,one outdoor ,one under a canopy type and another indoor soft play so plenty to keep children happy . There is food available but we took lunch as with all places can be expensive Overall really nice day and we would definitely go again 😁

Great day out with some beautiful animals. Not as big as other zoo's but I like that it's not a massive tech from one side to the other and you can easily go back and see your favourite animals again without getting lost or having to walk for ages. There are some familiar animals missing at the moment due to enclosure building work, but it's shown on their website and social media what's currently away. One of my favourite zoo's to visit. Got some great photos of the tigers because the farm animals (pigs and lambs) had just been moved closer to their enclosure a few days prior to our visit so they were very intrigued by the smells and noises 😀

We had a look at this place a few days ago and wanted to check this out for the new year and something to kick off the new 2024 year. Arrived there with no traffic getting in and a great go and stop signal system before you enter the carpark. Very quick service getting in and being the time of the year half the stalls were closed. The park area was wicked for my daughter she loved it. Seeing the animals as well was a wicked treat to see and what we paid as well. And we will definitely go back. The cafe was good priced and good food.

Absolutely brilliant day, we met up with my son, daughter in law & 2 grandsons. They loved it, so much to do & see, they loved the dinosaurs. The weather was perfect too, what more could you ask for. Thank you for a fantastic day out, it's definitely worth a visit 😊 🦕🦖🦁🐒🐫

A fantastic place for families with young children. The dinosaurs are by far the best bit , especially for any Dino lover kids. Several nice play areas for younger children . The zoo part is nice and clean and the animals are well kept. I'd say its a "mini zoo". If you don't have children it's not worth the price you pay . But for families with children it's a lovely place . The train ride is £2 each , under 2s free. You can park your pushchair up at it whilst you ride on. Some great opportunities to take photos throughout the park. The staff were all really nice and polite , I chatted with a few of them whilst we were there . Free parking which is a bonus !

Visited with a lovely friend, 101 years of age, for a birthday treat with her daughter. What a fabulous day we had. She had a feed the big cats experience and fed a tiger. A lovely extremely kind and knowledgeable keeper guided her through the experience beautifully. I cannot rate this experience high enough. All the staff polite and friendly. We spent all day enjoying the animals and a nice lunch. The dinosaurs were amazing too. Definitely will be back.

Brilliant. I last went around 25 years ago so it's claimed a lot. The gift shop was brilliant, the food was surprisingly nice and the animals looked well looked after. The enclosures looked really good and spacious considering it's a smaller place and we ran out of time for my 2 year old to go on the slides etc but she would've loved it. There's so much space so even when it's busy, you're not having to push past people. We spoke to a zoo keeper in the car park who had just finished their shift and he had great things to say about the place. He also said the staff know so much and love it when visitors ask them questions although people usually don't ask them as they think they're too busy. He said "please ask us questions. We've always got time to answer questions about the animals". Highly recommended and we'll definitely be coming back in the warmer months and with more of the family! We visited on a Monday during half term in October for my daughter's 2nd birthday.

Highly recommend this place for young children. If you're visiting during good weather, make use of the paddling pool which they call Lagoon. My children absolutely loved it. My only gripe is that they need more proper toilet facilities (with running water and hand dryers) and not portable loos. Customers will spend several hours if not the whole day at this place and for them to have portable toilets in this current health climate, it was quite off-putting. Plus try and get a bunch of 3 and 4 year-olds to use a portable toilet - not pleasant.

Great place to visit with friends and family, lots of animals to see in generous enclosures and looking healthy and cared for. Interesting talks by the zoo keepers. Great walk through the dinosaur forest with moving animation making for a very interactive experience, brilliant for children. There’s plenty of places to buy snacks and drinks and take a seat. A big indoor soft play with ball pits snd slides is great for the little ones. Little splash park with fountains for the children to play in during the hot weather. Brilliant!

Took my 4 year old grandson and we had such a good time, his face when he saw the dinosaurs was absolutely priceless. We will definitely be going back as we ran out of time, so missed a few things. We drove 2½ hours to get there and I have to say it really is value for money, I'd have paid it just to see the lions. (My favourites) Staff were friendly, food and drinks not to over priced but the gift shop was very expensive, but then they always are. In my opinion if you or your little ones like dinosaurs, take a day trip to Paradise Wildlife Park, you really won't be disappointed. 🦖🦕🦖

We visited this place for the 3rd time in 3 years. Kids still love it. Dinosaur walk was good fun with educational facts written next to each one. Great place to take photos. Zoo was also amazing, everything close by so don’t need to walk a lot to get from one place to another. Good variety of animals and managed to see most with good views. Dinosaur meet and greet, jungle dance shows, and the children’s soft play area were a great addition. They even have a dedicated multi faith prayer room which was very convenient.

Oh how wonderful it was to finally visit this beautiful place 🥰 after watching it on telly for so long with the kids, we all had a wonderful day ❤️ so much to see and so much information provided about the animals! All the staff are happy to provide more information and happy to when asked questions by the children and you can tell they love their jobs 🥰 we were even more privileged when we met Cam and Taylor, who took the time with my children who spotted them and were very excited to met them. The children treated them like old friends and Taylor and Cam were wonderful, thank you so much 🥰

Came here as a day out for my 40th with my fiance and 3 year old. Absolutely fantastic!! The dinosaur area is brilliant, the best dinosaur experience and my sons face was priceless!! Glad we came whilst kids are still in school. The animals are amazing. Worth every penny. I understand why my friend has annual passes. I would too if we lived closer

Had a great day out at Paradise Wildlife Park. It was much bigger than I thought it would be. The zoo was very clean and kept well and the layout and enclosures made animals easy to see while still giving them plenty of room. No giant animals but still so many animals to see and a few I've not seen in other zoos. We had lunch there which was reasonable and the burgers were really tasty. We played crazy golf which was fun and super cheap! We popped into the speedway museum which was fantastic as we both love motorbikes and the gentlemen gave us so much information we learnt loads. Great day out.

The parking is good and the park itself overall is pretty good .. unfortunately a few things let it down . Upon arriving i went to use the toilets there was urine on the floor and it stunk... The animals were good and a fairly decent amount to see so that was good But when we decided we wanted a drink..then we had an issue. The ice cream stall had a massive queue approx 40 people so we looked elsewhere then the outdoor food place the same.... ended up waiting in a queue for 35 minutes just to get a coffee and a can of coke... there should be a separate drinks only stall so that u don't have to wait for people ordering food etc. The park does have 2 smoking areas which is a great thing for smokers only downside is that there was only 1 bench in each and if like us u want to sit down to enjoy a cig n drink u can't unless u wait... Other than those points that let it down it was an enjoyable day out

Lots of fun and plenty to see for the children. It's worth making a full day of it. We attended the evening event which opened at 6.30 - 9.30. The little ones didn't want to leave. Food is expensive so pack snacks and drinks if you're on a budget. The staff are amazing. Had booked weeks in advance, unfortunately we had a rail strike to deal with on the Saturday, but got there and back onto London with ease. Will definitely go again.

Lovely wildlife park. We went during a dinner festival on a Friday evening the kids absolutely loved the music, dancing and the animals of course. It's very friendly and compact. My only criticism would be the quality of food available- not the best particularly for the prices you pay. Overall though, great fun!!

Really enjoyable visit. Came for the day without kids and had a nice time. It wasn’t too busy or crowded at any point. Plenty of toilets dotted throughout the park. The food options seemed good and varied, and there were plenty of picnic tables and benches to sit on with your own food as well. Some of the habitats are great - we particular loved the sun bears. They were so fun to watch! Others seemed a bit small and lacking and made us uncomfortable. I do hope they continue to update throughout and improve this. I also had the red panda feeding experience which was delightful. The keeper who accompanied me was really lovely to talk to and I enjoyed asking her questions. I wish the experience could have been longer but I suppose with only one panda at the moment who isn’t bothered by bamboo, it was bound to be a bit short. Overall a lovely visit.

What an amazing place fantastic day out. My boy loved the dinosaurs' great variety of animals, and the enclosures are designed really well. The only thing that would make this place better was if they made it bigger because they have done a fantastic job with the space they already have. Great zoo

Visited yesterday,. It was fairly busy but a lot had been put in place to keep everyone safe. As always there was people to comply to social distancing but hey ho you will get that anywhere.. Dinosaur was amazing the boys loved reading the fact and particularly liked the info about Jurrasic park.. The animal world was well spaced out and the animals were so close it was lovely too see them. We eat lunch at Safari diner and the food was good value especially for an attraction. Will definitely be back to visit again

We went for the Summer evening slot and it was great fun. It was busy but clean. Lots of action with African drummers, bubbles other mascots. It was a lovely summer's evening and is had great fun exploring the place. staff was smiley and toilets and restaurant were clean. They cleaned the train seats after every ride. Watching dinosaur world in the night was a different fun too with lights and sound effect. Would definitely recommend it.

Loved it here. A great family day out. Fun for all ages. The dinosaur section is impressive! There's a splash park, soft play area and various play parks as well as the animals. The animals look healthy and happy, which is a huge plus in my eyes. I took a packed lunch, but there are plenty of places to eat if you don't want to have a packed lunch. Facilities were clean and there are plenty of bins around if you do accumulate rubbish

Perfect for the kids! Us adults thought it was great too.... We did the evening event, had a great atmosphere as soon as we got through the entrance, lots of entertainment, bongo drums, bubbles, baby dinosaurs..... We done the dinosaur walk through first whilst it was still light and thought it was absolutely fantastic so we decided to go back through again once it was dark, honestly thought it would be better in the dark with the coloured lights, we were actually really underwhelmed as only certain parts seemed to be lit really well and other parts you could hardly see....... Overall it is a lovely day or evening out and I'd definitely go back

Great day out with friends. Visited the park because of a wedding celebration which took place in the event marquee. Had a chance to explore the park and it was definitely worth it. Would come back here again. Great selection of different animals which all appear well looked after and treated well. On your feet for the entire time so wear comfortable shoes.

Absolutely fantastic. Extremely underrated zoo! There is a wide range of animals to see and you can also pay for special interactions, (tickle a tapir) which are great add ons! You can easily navigate around the park and get up close to some of them which is great! The dinosaur world is a great perk and makes the zoo unique. Was very impressing. An excellent choice for kids! Great value for money

This place is properly under rated. Came for a Sunday treat for my son and wasn't disappointed! The Dinosaur Park was also great. Everything Covid secure. Signs and pathways were clearly marked. The animals were obviously the stars of the show - hearing a lion roar in person was breathtaking and bone chilling all at once. All in all a great day out.

I have been here twice it is really good! The dinosaurs are brilliant the animals are lovely the white lions are amazing and the tigers. The best looking camels we have ever seen! Admission very reasonable. Children love it. And coffee really good and strong. Children had turkey dinosaurs and chips and went down really well. Last visit late October 2020 had 3 children with us age 9+6 and we had a good time.

Took my nephew this weekend and had a really good time. I think it’s a tad expensive, the difference between adults and kids it’s not much, but in the end, you get what you pay for. If your kids like dinosaurs, it’s a cool place to come. Very life like, moving and large dinosaurs, wide variety. Train (additional cost) is quite cool (sit towards the back, fumes near the front). Animals are amazing as well, such a wide variety of all animals. Including tigers and lions - although a sad life for them. I’d recommend going. Bring your own food!

Paradise Wildlife park is perfectly named! It is a paradise! We have been coming here for years now (even had an annual pass when my son was younger) such a beautiful zoo with so much more to offer!! Weekends can be a little busy so we love love visiting during the week and at non peak times of the year as we really get to enjoy the peaceful ‘paradise’ effect it has on us. The animals all look well cared for with great enclosures and enrichment, great places to eat and shop too!! They have a great Dinosaur section and young childrens play areas, whilst capturing the true essence of nature. A beautiful place for the family.

A fantastic zoo with so many things to see and do. Wide selection of animals as well as dinosaurs, soft play, numerous playgrounds, the train and a splash pool. My son loves coming so much that we ended up getting a year membership and visit probably once every fortnight. The new Sun Bear enclosures are amazing and you can get quite close to them. We will no doubt be back in the next week or two.

Brilliant. We went on the summer evening night event. The zoo, entertainment and staff were so nice. Our toddler went free as he is under 2 and for the both of us it cost £32.40 (we had a discount code so got £3.60 off). It's small and not huge. No queues or rush. We got to relax and enjoy it. Highly recommend it.

I brought the kids (5 and 8) here and it was a great day out. They loved the dinosaur area so much they wanted to go round a second time later in the day. There are a few play areas that they loved too. There's not a huge number of animals so I think if you're visiting without kids then expect maybe half a day rather than a full day.

Brilliant park. It's in 2 sections, so animals are on one side and the Dino park/woodland on the other. The place is very accessible. Loads of different play areas/soft play. Lots of places to eat, plenty of toilets everywhere. We had burger and chips in the Safari diner (a bit quieter at 2pm)and it was really good. Order at the bar, then wait for your buzzer to go off to collect. The adults menu is a bit expensive, but kids were good value. The snacks in Tumble Jungle were fresh and good value. There are plenty of tables chairs and sofas in there while the kids play. We did the golf (£2 each) and it was quite good. Easy to lose the ball though! Lovely pool/beach area. The water is very cold, so it's only good on a hot day, but you can really relax there. World of Dinosaurs was definitely worth seeing even if you are not into dino's. There was a good digging for the bones area for the kids. The zoo was really good and lots of brilliant viewing areas (the best viewing zoo I have been to). There are low windows for little ones, platforms, walk-ins, etc meaning people are spread around and not having to wait for a clear space. There are a number of free car parks. We arrived at 10:30 and were directed to car park 3. There is a discount for Blue Light card holders. Need to buy everyone else's tickets online, then the blue light ticket holder pays when they get there.

I took my daughter for a mini zoo keeper experience. It was such a brilliant day. The two members of staff in charge of the experience- Chris and Becky- were exemplary. They went above and beyond in every way. My daughter thoroughly enjoyed it and I also loved learning about the different animals. We were treated to a surprise appearance by the One Zoo Three guys and it made my daughter’s day- thank you to everyone involved. The staff were all amazing- thanks to the smiley lady in the cafe and the polite gate operator! After the experience we visited the splash pad which was fun and of course the brilliant Dino trail. We have been four times and we love the place. Particularly loved the sun bears, birds of prey, snow leopards and of course the legendary giant tortoise. Thank you!

Kids absolutely loved it! I have a 4, nearly 5 year old boy and a 19 month old girl, and they were over joyed! We had the opportunity to go during the week on a Monday, very little amount of people around on this particular day, which gave us plenty of space and opportunity to see the animals multiple times and the food hall was very quite as was the train ride and the kids climbing frames. It was fantastic to see the kids' faces as they gazed into the eyes of a lion at eye level, they was tad nervous at first but soon understood that they are unable to enter our area and we are safe 😅 I could write forever about each and every animal, but I will sum it up, very good day out, even with the very little people it took us all day to see the park (bare that in mind) , the kids loved to see the "meerkat" very funny little things, what the adults think of the animals pacing up and down the fencing we shall keep to ourselves , but it is very apparent and atvthe end of the day they are very well looked after. Unfortunately, the "birds of paradise" were closed for our visit, which was a tad annoying but not much you can do. The food was OK, it's what you expected when you ordered a "cheeseburger" from an establishment such as this. It was OK, and I would eat here again if I was here and had no pack lunch. The jacket potatoes were good, and my son had the hotdog, which he's described as "delicious" 🤷‍♂️🤣 All in, a great day out! We are looking forward to another visit!

Great zoo. My kids love it here mainly because there are dinosaurs to look at it! Mainly because they are life size, move and make noises. They love it. The animals are great to walk around and see too. Nice variety of animals to see. It's not the biggest zoo I have been to but its still a nice day out

A great place for both little and big kids! A good balance of play areas and conservation. Will definitely visit again. Due to the current cv19 restrictions, places of the park were closed so we did not get the full experience but still had a lovely day.

Really enjoyed our time at Paradise today. They have spent a lot of money improving it. Great dinosaur park, for adults & children. All the animals look in good health & good viewing windows for the white lions & beautiful tigers.

Lovely day out. Good range of animals, lots of play equipment for young children, good balance of fun and education and not too much walking. The speedway museum was an additional surprise. Bought a delicious vegan burger and fries at safari diner

Such a lovely place to go for the whole family to enjoy. My 2 toddlers absolutely LOVED the dinosaur Park. Our only disappointment was that the tiger area was closed which was the main thing the kids were looking forward to seeing, but they enjoyed themselves regardless. The park is a perfect size, I forgot to carry buggy with us and thought my children would struggle with all the walking but they easily managed 2 laps around the park. We will definitely be visiting again.

Great family day out. They have a good range of animals, play grounds and splash park. There’s a miniature train and plenty of places to eat. You can either bring your own lunch and use one of the picnic tables or each at one of the café’s/food stalls.

Very covid secure, felt perfectly safe taking the little ones here im the summer when the park reopened again. The dinosaur Park was our favourite. Lots of little play areas and ground for the kids to explore but our ones were more interested in going around to see the animals but I imagine would be good for pre schoolers. We really enjoyed seeing the animals and got a cheeky glimpse of the tigers even though their enclosure was closed for refurbishment. Well spaced out and enjoyable day for all the family.

Great day out here! So many animals to see and the meerkats were the cutest toasting themselves under the heat lamps 😂 the only thing I'd say Covid wise is although they had a 1 way system in place, the marks were not always overly clear to work out and not everyone followed them anyway (but that's obviously not on the park, that's just members of the public!) But all staff were masked and well distanced 👍

Probably the best wildlife park in Hertfordshire for smaller kids. It’s small enough that you can get round in a day and guaranteed to see the animals. Had lots to do for younger aged kids - play area, dinosaur park etc. Highly recommended.

Much improved local family owned/run zoo. Most of the family favourites such as Zebras, Lions and Lemurs are on display, with the Lion and Penguin and Tiger enclosures being particularly well designed, and affording excellent views of the animals. However there are a few sore points, such as the overflow car parking for which you have to cross a busy road to reach. Also some of the eateries were especially busy resulting in queues of up to an hour during busy times.

Lovely place. We came here for my sons birthday as we had seen the dinosaur videos uploaded in lockdown and thought it would be perfect for my dinosaur enthusiast son ! It was amazing as was the rest of the park. A great size for people with smaller children to go too as you can get around comfortably. The enclosures are well thought out and spacious for the animals which is something I feel strongly about. The only slight gripe was having to pay extra for the dinosaur train which really wasn't a long train ride for 1.50 pp. I feel that should be in the ticket price for the park x

Great place to take the little ones, 4 and 2.5yrs old. Animatronic Dinosaurs, a little train, plenty of play areas and a small zoo where you can get up pretty close to some big cats. A lovely park, all around a nice place to visit. It’s aimed towards families with younger children, but works well for all ages. There are lots of indoor and outdoor play areas, there is also play equipment that is disability friendly that you just don’t see enough of. The staff all seemed really friendly and knowledgable. We did the junior zoo keeper experience and our lovely guide (hanc) was just wonderful. She was bubbly, friendly and seemed really genuine when talking to us. She was wonderful with my sister who is autistic. I would revisit just because of this. The animals all looked well cared for, with lovely enclosures. There is a lot of glass, so you never feel like you are pushing people to get a view into the spaces. But the animals also have enough private space to use. I plan to come back with other siblings :) It’s good to bear in mind that this site is totally cash less!

Great family day out. We managed to park quite easily. Pre-booked and queue to get in cleared quite quickly. It was busy but stupidly overcrowded. A lot to do for kids, soft play area where you can have coffee, lots of play areas covering the whole park, so kids won’t get bored quickly. The Dinosaur section was great the kids loved that, hopefully it goes on beyond Easter. The animals looked to be well cared for and no sign of stress from what we saw. Clean, bins everywhere so no need to go running looking for one that is spilling over. The place seems well run and well organised. I can only imagine come summertime it will get really busy, but with online booking only hopefully they can control numbers to make it enjoyable for everyone and still make a profit. Definitely recommend.

The part itself was great, plenty to see, the dinosaur attraction is fantastic to. But the food left lots to be desired. 25 pound to get a chicken burger which arrived raw and I had to take it back for another which also came out raw, and a stone cold hamburger, not best pleased. But still enjoyed the rest of what paradise offered.

A great Zoo to bring all the family, its not too big but is a full day of fun. Staff are all really friendly and the zoo is really well kept as everything is really clean. Plus the dinosaurs were a fun addition.

We were fortunate enough to visit our of school holiday time -the local schools had gone back after Easter. My family (children 4 and 6) had a lovely time. The dinosaurs were excellent and are based on the Jurassic World ones which include some of the hybrids - which my son absolutely loved! It wasn't busy for us, but I imagine it can get quite busy as the place is rather compact. I wouldn't have enjoyed it had we had to queue up for everything. There is a lot of see and do and it's easy to get round in the day. There is a splash area so if warm, children can get into their swimwear and have fun splash time. The soft play is good too. Take snacks and drinks because there aren't that many places to get these things from.

Amazing day, but very busy! Hard to move around some parts because of how busy it was, especially as its only open until 4.30. However, despite how busy it was, we had an amazing day and are now watching the show One Zoo Three, which is really good! The food place by the tigers is amazing! And we got to watch the tigers as we ate! Loved it.

I love going to the zoo and taking my nearly 16 month old, I've taken him twice so far but I've visited many times before. We last went in the winter where most animals were in hiding but having been today in lovely weather almost all the animals were out and about.

Not autism friendly. We liked the park itself, the animals were great, it was really well done, worth the money to get in. The music and noise in the Jurassic part was awful, overly loud. The most difficult part was the amount of individual school groups there, it didn't seem staggered throughout the day; we were surrounded by about 5 different schools. The noise and crowds were awful, the teachers were equally as loud and shouting. We thought we'd found one quiet spot (with designated 'quiet area' on the sign). But this wasn't adhered to, the schools paid no notice, and no attempt was made by teachers to let smaller groups in to lessen noise. It got the point where my son got upset and needed to walk off as soon as he saw school groups. It would be helpful if the park had some rules in place for school groups, especially in this 'quiet zone'. Perhaps they could also stagger the times the groups came in. We traveled to visit and it was a real shame.

I’ve not been to Paradise Park for probably around 25 years and the memories I have from back then absolutely do not match up to what I experienced this weekend! There is tons for the family to do. We arrived around half 10 and didn’t see our first animal until nearly 1, but that’s not a bad thing. The kids were in love with all the splash pool, play areas, the World of Dinosaurs, mini golf, more play areas and more. When we finally made our way to the animals we again wasn’t disappointed. We’ve been to a number of wildlife parks now and outside of the big ones (like London/Chester Zoo) here was easily the best so far. The park isn’t absolutely sprawling so you’re walking for miles but every area has a really good amount of space. The animals that we did see all looked very happy and comfortable, but unfortunately for us a lot of them were a bit too shy to come out and play. There is absolutely tons of interactive elements to most of the animals enclosures so the kids were never short of something to do between animals. Food and drinks wasn’t too badly priced either. I guess you could argue that the Paradise Park of today is a bit like the ship of theseus… So much has changed, is it even the same place it once was? The literal only thing I could spot that hadn’t been changed or removed was the red Dennis firetruck in the play area.

Had the most amazing family day out here today!! This was our first time here and it won't be our last!! Paradise Wildlife Park is perhaps the best thought out Zoo experience I've ever had and it's a breath of fresh air going to a place that's not too sprawling like London Zoo or excessively busy like other entertainment parks. The animals all seem to be happy with their enclosures, everything is clean and tidy, staff are all helpful and the grounds are beautiful and well maintained. The dinosaur experience was especially memorable and even at age 40, I'm excited to see it again! The kids definitely loved it!! There is a good selection of animals to see and the enclosures are designed with viewing in mind so you're able to get close enough and elevated vantage points are very useful. One highlight today was looking down at the leopard enclosure and seeing one a few feet away from me!

TIP: See the animals first then Dinos, while they are awake and alert :) great space for 2/3 year old to run. Dont forget to take swimming stuff. No water bottle fillers, but cafe happy enough to fill up. Soft play not manned, under 7 only is not kept too, watch out for big kids. Picnic space under tent was lovely. All the animals seem well looked after, kids loved getting up close. Got there early and parked close, rather than extended car park across road. Helpful staff too. Take a pack of tissues for toilets run out of loo roll few times, toilets are rare so plan well with potty training kids.

Wow, wow, wow!!! Absolutely amazing!! I think I definitely was as excited as the kids. Absolutely lovely place. So so nicely crafted, everything is so nice to look at and kids loved seeing the array of animals. Pricey? Yes. Worth every penny? YES! Would defo take the kids again next summer holidays. Personal fave? The dinosaur land! Omg so realistic! My son loved it and I genuinely was amazed how real they looked with the sounds and tails wagging. Fantastic day out with the family

We had an absolutely fantastic day at the Paradise Wildlife Park! Located just a short 30-minute drive from London, this wildlife park is the perfect destination for a fun-filled family day out. We were blown away by the variety of activities and attractions available at the park. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with a wide array of animals to see and learn about. It was such a joy to observe these magnificent creatures up close and personal. One of the highlights of our visit was the train ride, which added an extra element of fun and excitement to our day. The kids especially loved it, and it gave us a unique perspective on the park and its beautiful surroundings. Parking was a breeze, as there were ample spaces available inside the park. We also appreciated the designated parking spots for disabled visitors, which made it accessible for everyone. The park's attention to accessibility truly made us feel valued and welcomed. One thing that stood out to us was the lack of long queues. Despite it being a popular attraction, we were pleasantly surprised by how efficiently the park operated. We didn't have to wait long for any of the activities or exhibits, allowing us to make the most out of our time there. When we needed a break, we were delighted to find an abundance of cafes and ice cream kiosks conveniently located throughout the park. It was the perfect way to refuel and indulge in some delicious treats while soaking up the beautiful surroundings. The staff at the park were incredibly friendly and helpful, making our experience even more enjoyable. They were always ready to answer any questions and made us feel like valued guests. We also appreciated the ample seating areas available throughout the park, which allowed us to rest and take a break whenever needed. Overall, our day spent at the Paradise Wildlife Park was truly unforgettable. From the incredible animals to the exciting train ride and convenient amenities, everything exceeded our expectations. We can't wait to come back and make more amazing memories at this wonderful wildlife park.

I’ve visited twice within the past few months. The first was a day visit at the end of summer/beginning of autumn whilst it was still warm. My toddler had the best time ;we all did) from seeing the animals from different levels to the indoor unlimited soft play to the outdoor splash park and other play areas. I can see why families buy the membership packages. We revisited more recently to see the dinosaurs at night. My toddler is obsessed with dinosaurs and this was a night to remember with the lighting, dinosaur shows and meet and greets and silent disco. Would definitely visit again.

Loved it. A lovely family day out to blow the christmas cobwebs away. It's been quite a while since I last came, infact it was 2 children ago. We arrived early and went straight to the dinosaurs, this was lovely quiet walk around which we all enjoyed, are the dinosaurs motion sensored? Because it did seem like it. Which added to the experience, the family jumped in the car for the Jurassic pic. 😊 Then we hopped on the train, a little disappointed that this was extra, especially how much extra, being a family of 5, it's another cost on top of an already costly day out! Esp as its just a few minutes around the dinosaurs (which we had just seen) but children do love a train, and they know that! Be mindful that to get round to see the wolves, deer and foxes you have to pass all the play/park areas!! 😒 Luckily for us it was wet, very wet so was able to move on without too much drama. Then across the road to see the rest of the animals, with a small stop off at the big slides which are under cover, shoes have to be removed which I liked, no muddy bums!! The lions were all laying down right at the windows which was amazing to see. Managed to see everything within the day except the zebras faces, they just was face down behind the fences every time you walk past! 😆 Got a mocha from the sun bear bakery, wouldn't rate it much to be honestly, very watery, will try a different drink next time, or different place, the food looked nice but was almost empty by midday. The children saw a poster saying 90% off teddies in the shop, although the main shop was shut and the one we did visit did not have 90% off, so don't know what happened there. We will come back again but will leave it a while as it's a very expensive day out for us. But makes it more special when we do get to come.

Yes yes yes!!! I haven’t been to the park in 7 years and today went with my 8 year old and 1 year old. I often find it hard to find things to do that will suit both my children due to their age gap. However this was perfect!! I love the size of the park not too big not too small. The animals enclosures were massive and clean. The eating facilities had a great view of the enclosures. Felt like the tiger who came to tea moment. My son was worried about a snake as she was submerged in water, and her head seemed to be stuck between the rocks. We found a keeper who acted very quickly walking with my son and talking about his favourite animal on the park. She said the snake looked okay but would get someone from the reptile department to take a look. 5 minutes later she was back with another keeper! These animals are clearly well looked after. The Dino park is a great addition and is so well done and blew me away. Both my children were a little scared so showed you how realistic it was! They do have works being completed but this had no effect on our day out and no disruption. The work spaces are covered with the plans and this is a great way of communicating the change from the normal blank canvas. However not having prams in one of the eating facilities wasn’t great. It wouldn’t have been a problem if the pram park was next to or directly outside the eating facilities but it was not, or you had a spare pair of hands. I sat my children down and managed to make sure my pram was tucked in as much as possible. A staff member asked me to remove it however I said this was impractical as a parent on my own. She said say she could look after my children while I moved it, but this wasn't okay for me. In the end she did offer to take it out for me. I spoke to a women while waiting for the changing facilities and she said that’s why she won’t eat in there. Also I hope with the new big plans for this zoo they do invest in more changing facilities. I had to wait 15+ minutes to change my daughter. This is why I have had to take a star away. Lastly this zoo has amazing customer service, was second to none even with the pram saga. From the staff on the gates to the cafes and zoo keepers. We will definitely be back time and time again. Your staff are a credit to the zoo and I do hope you share this review with them! P.s please can you add the Capybara to the adoption list or on the junior zoo keeper ☺️ Well done 👌🏻
