Yogeshwari Devi temple is very famous in Maharashtra as well as in India. Shri Yogeshwari temple (Devanagari: श्री योगेश्वरी देवी ) is an ancient temple of Goddess Durga, located at Ambajogai ( District Beed ).Yogeshwari Mata is the kuladevi of prominent Maratha & Brahmins. Yogeshwari Aai is Kulaswamini of many families in Maharashtra especially of Konkanastha Chitpavan Brahmins and Karhade Brahmins in Maharashtra. Many Brahmins of Western India (Gujarat, Rajasthan) with surnames Vyas, Trivedi, etc. also revere "Yogeshwari" as their Kuldevi. Yogeshwari name is derived from words Yoga and Ishwari. It means she is controller of Yoga shakti. Three famous temples of Yogeshwari Devi in Maharashtra. One is at Ambajogai, other is in Lanja near Ratnagiri in form of consort of Kalabhairava and third is in Pune as Tambadi Jogeshwari.

Take a blessing from Ma Yogeshwari at this place. Temple area is very neat and clean. No car parking is available in this area, better to hire auto to come to this place. Pedha is very famous, you can buy from front gate of Temple. Edit - Car parking is available at the backside of the temple.

If you are in Beed distt.of Maharashtra don't forget to get blessings of most revered Adishakti Yogeshwari Mata of Ambajogai. Temple architecture is of Hemadpanthi style, with huge entrance. Face of Goddess is very attractive and you feel depth in the eyes of Devi Mata. Temple is tidy and well managed . Be benefited with Prasad offered by trust. Nearest Railway station is Parli and is 24 km away from Ambajogai. One can visit both the places on same day. Bus services are very frequent from Parli. Bhakt Niwas is easily available nearby temple. If you have time then visit Mukundraj Samadhi & Ma Renuka temple here.

Great temple of Yogeshwari Devi in Ambejogai, Maharashtra. The whole vibe around is religious and feels amazing However, the system for line is very chaotic so you must have the patience to wait for up to an hour. Otherwise, a beautiful temple Stay at the nearby Ambejogai Bhakt Nivas for easy access

Ancient Yogeshwari Temple in Ambejogai. Ambejogai is very well connected with Parali-Vaijanath jyotirlinga. The distance is merely20 kms and the roads constructed are of cement. The journey takes just 15 mins. Dedicated Parking is not available however one can park in a boulevard/Galli nearby on the downwards descent/slope. Do visit the temple and seek blessings. Make donations in the office.
