Pierced by Mimi at the shop today (6/15/22) and she was so sweet and wanted to get the placement perfect. From the moment you walk in the door, you’re personally greeted and welcomed in. Filled out a quick sheet to acknowledge general info, picked out the jewelry I wanted, and they were ready as soon as I was. It’s very cute and girly inside and each room has its own color scheme. The piercing was quick and Mimi was very gentle. I had very minimal pain. They give clear instructions along with personal anecdotes on aftercare. I will absolutely be returning, as I appreciate how friendly and inviting the atmosphere was, unlike a lot of other places. The shop owner made this place very unique, as I’ve only had previous not-as-welcoming experiences with piercing places.

5/5 service!! This was my first time at “it’s just a poke” I’ve been looking at piercings places for over a year now to get my smiley done. Since I Grew up in the bay I’ve had all my piercings there and just loved my piercer. I was worried to get a bad experience here in Stockton but I had come across their Instagram one day because my friends where posting them on their Instagram story since they were offering $13 piercings on Friday the 13. Since it was a lot of my friends I figured I’d give it a shot and go to them. ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT!! I even convinced my fiancé to go with me and he got it done as well. All the staff were very friendly and welcoming and the piercer “as seen in the picture” was amazing. Definitely went back already and will continue too.

First of this spot is SUPER CUTE and clean. You can spot the pink gates as soon as you turn the corner and although the atmosphere can get busy because of the inflow of clients, the ladies take their time to make sure they follow all sanitation procedures. The owner is super sweet and was able to help feel welcomed and had unique jewelry pieces I had never seen before. Moneys was able to pierce me and she made me feel safe and constantly checked in to make sure I was okay throughout the process. Usually I am very self conscious about my ears but she made me feel like I had the perfect anatomy for my piercings! Will come again and I recommend for everyone to please stop by ❤️

My sister and both got our nostrils pierced by Leilani and she was excellent, explained everything we would need to know perfectly. I had a great experience getting pierced by Money! Everyone at the shop is incredibly sweet and helpful. I went in for my vertical labret piercing and it came out great! The shop is clean with lots of items and jewelry to choose from. I will be back for more piercings and jewelry for sure :)

Went in to get a nose piercing and left with a helix and nose piercing. Both have healed wonderfully and absolutely love their services. The whole place is decorated so cute for everyone to feel comfortable even THE ROOMS ARE AMAZING! Looking forward to getting more done by them!

This is the “Must Go In Stockton”! You have to go meet these ladies, they are all so knowledgeable on all your piercing needs. So professional and clean. They wash their hands before and after piercing you and they also do not reuse any items that they pierced you with. They sanitize everything. Each room is all themed out from sunflowers to jungle theme to cow to sea theme. Now let’s talk about the owner, she is so nice, very knowledgeable, beautiful, humble and a heart of gold. She is giving back to the community not only locally but in El Salvador as well. She’s teaming up with all her followers to help people in need. Thank you ladies for all you do. I myself got 6 piercings total 3 on each of my ears and I’m in love with them. They held perfectly and the process didn’t take long. I’m wearing white gold on all my flowers. I recommend It’s Just A Poke 100%.

After having single lobe piercings for years I realized I wanted to style my ears back in September of 2022. I have gone to this shop on different occasions. The first time I went I got my nose pierced and a 2nd lobe. During my second visit I got 2 helix’s and my third lobe. During my most recent visit I got my navel and 4th lobe. I was very nervous on getting my piercing done but they helped my nervousness go away! any questions I had were answered they also give you tips and instructions on how to take care of your piercings afterwards like showing you what brands to use and etc.they are very careful when it comes to piercings and very sweet and understanding . I got my piercing on January 15,2023 and my healing process has been great no problems at all! They are also very clean and protected with they pierce you and they check to see if you like the placement of your piercing before they pierce you!,Also the rooms they have are the cutest and are so cool ! I can’t wait to go back again seriously the greatest people I have ever gotten a piercing with! They also have such great deals!☺️

My little sister & I came here on a random Sunday afternoon. The girls were all so nice & friendly as soon as we walked in. They answered all of our questions and showed us the jewelry. They even let us see in a mirror how we would think it would look. They were so patient! Yaya did my nose piercing & she was so quick! I had minimal to no pain at all! The rooms were so cute!! Atmosphere is very positive and all the ladies are super nice. I got three nose piercings from them last year and got one of them repierced this year about a month or two ago. Very friendly and good prices I went on the day they had buy one get one free for titanium. They have a lot to choose from from jewelry to other stuff like rolling trays.

I absolutely love my piercings!!! Kay did such a fantastic job, she was super knowledgeable when it came to helping me decide on piercing placement. I loved how attentive she was and how she talked me through each step. I trusted her the entire time. I got both sides of my nose pierced and my ear. My experience was great. They were able to help me with picking my jewelry because I had specific wants. Their jewelry selection is very big and diverse. They walked me through the whole piercing process, told me what they were doing, and told me when to breathe in and out. I love the workers and atmosphere. I would definitely get pierced there again!

Everyone is very welcoming. Definitely felt comfortable for a first time piercing here. Vee explained the process well and did my eyebrow piercing leaving it perfect and barely felt any pain. If I decide to get another piercing, I would 100% come here again

I previously had my nose pierced years ago, but one of my best friends mentioned going to It’s just a poke’s shop for piercings and said how great their deals were. I decided to get it re-pierced. We went on a promo day and everything was super simple, we were instructed to wait in our cars due to so many people being in the shop, got a call, chose our jewelry, got pierced, and went on our way. Getting pierced was super simple, everything was clean, everyone in the shop was super cool and explained aftercare. I would definitely come back for another piercing or just to come to buy more jewelry. My healing process has been super good, I have no complaints. The shop is super cute and each room is a different theme. Good for pics and just good vibes overall!

I went to get my nose and belly pierced. From the start the workers are so welcoming and sweet they are such a vibe. Make you feel very comfortable and make sure that you are ready and everything. The decorations it’s self is so nice every room has a different theme and I honestly just love the room. The offers and prices they have are definitely a big steal. I went for the first time today and got my flat pierced. I loved all the options they had, but I settled with a titanium heart earring that I absolutely fell in love with. The wait was a bit long but it was definitely worth it as it’s Christmas and it was super busy, so I really didn’t mind. There were plenty of cute items to look at around the store during your time there and I ended up buying a few necklaces as well. The rooms seem to all have different themes and I was sent to the green room, which had a very cute jungle vibe to it, the decorations were on point, and it was very welcoming. All in all I loved the experience I had while waiting, getting my ears pierced, and talking to my piercer and I will definitely come back again when I’m ready for another :)

I actually found out about this business purely by accident a month or so ago. I love photography and photographing places around Stockton especially. I stumbled upon Just A Poke because of its eye catching pink exterior. It wasn’t until after I asked around on instagram that I found out they do piercings. I went in the other day for a Christmas time special they were having and got my daith pierced. The staff treat you like family and are all really cool and welcoming. Thank you guys again!!

Went to this place to get my second piercing on my lobes and it was such a lovely experience. They offer great deals when they’re able to if you’re not able to afford normal prices. Not only such great deals but give back to their customers which is not very common for any other piercing places. Their shop is so cute filled with different themed rooms and offer such a wide selection of jewelry if you don’t want the basics. My piercer was the sweetest and made me feel super comfortable. You leave knowing you would/could come back there for future piercings!
