I recently had the pleasure of getting highlights done by Krystyna. and I couldn't be happier with the results! From start to finish, she was professional, friendly, and clearly very skilled at what she does. She took the time to listen to my ideas and preferences, and then made some excellent suggestions based on my hair type and skin tone. She really seemed to understand what I was looking for and I felt confident that I was in good hands. The actual highlight process was very enjoyable, thanks to her friendly and upbeat demeanor. She took the time to explain each step of the process and make sure I was comfortable throughout. I appreciated that she was very attentive to detail and took the time to make sure my highlights looked natural and blended. The end result was exactly what I was hoping for - beautiful, natural-looking highlights that really brightened up my hair. I've received so many compliments since getting them done, and I've already recommended Krystyna to several of my friends. My eyelash appointment was set up by a recommendation by a friend. I reached out to Bethany by text, and received a response right away. She was very accommodating and extremely easy to deal with. When I arrived at the studio Bethany checked out my sparse eyelashes and we discussed what type of look I was after. Bethany suggested that I go with a hybrid set of lashes. This is a natural look with some fullness. She assured me I had enough lashes to work with. The studio is clean and quiet. I have had extensions previously. They would fall out quickly and felt heavy. Everything about this experience was different. Bethany carefully taped my lower lashes. I was never uncomfortable with the tape. She then went to work. The appointment lasted about and hour. We chatted easily and listened to a great mix of music. I could tell that these lashes were going to stay put. Her process is quite thorough. But not heavy. When finished she brushed the extensions out and sent me to the mirror to see them. Voila, they were perfect for me. Extensions are a game changer. Bethany made a follow up fill appointment for two weeks. These extensions lasted. So much better than my last experience. She said I could probably go three weeks without an issue. I highly recommend Bethany for extensions. She knows what she is doing.

The BEST hairdressers in Michigan!!!! Not only do they make my hair look amazing, but they also have made it healthier than it has ever been. The salon is also such a comfortable environment and they make getting your hair done fun!! I completely trust Mandi, Khrystyna, and Bethany!!!

Not only do you walk out looking incredible…Mandi, Khrystyna,& Bethany spend the time to teach you about your hair type & daily upkeep. I have learned so much about how many times to wash my hair, what products to use & how to keep my hair healthy overall. To the point my friends asked me if I got extensions because my hair looks so full and healthy. The Base girls listen & will be honest…Mandi wants her clients to look & feel their best. No one works harder or cares more than Mandi and Team. Ps. I feel so good after seeing the girls - I take a selfie every time!

Khrystyna has been doing my hair since 2020 and kills it every single time. I have naturally dark hair so it’s hard to find someone who can make it blonde without it being yellow or brassy, and Khrystyna does it perfect. She always leaves it just a little dark on my roots so when my hair grows out it blends and doesn’t look stripy. I seriously don’t think I could ever get my hair done by anyone else. You definitely get your moneys worth.

Can't recommend enough! I started going to Khrystyna about a year and a half ago when I wanted to get hot pink highlights. She did such a fantastic job! (I can't wait to go lavender purple in the spring!) Most recently, she did some highlights and toning for me, and I love love love how they came out. The longest I've ever been in there is about two hours, and that's for a full highlight/tone/trim/style session, which is great! I've been to other places where I'm stuck in there forever. I just text Khrystyna when I need to get in and make an appointment, super easy and convenient! I also park in the Washington St lot, easier than trying to back up into the parking spaces on Washington.

Bethany was beyond amazing!!! Did my lashes beautifully and could not love them more. She had me feeling like a true goddess when she was done.Also, very personable and friendly to talk to. Overall, very relaxing environment as I got glammed up. VERY HIGHLY RECOMMEND HER. Five gold stars all the way!!! Will definitely be going back.

i see khrystyna every time i get a haircut, and she does such an amazing job!! i show her inspo pictures and she always does it just like the reference. my hair looks and feels so goodd! i go home and feel like a new person! she’s literally the sweetest, i appreciate her so much! <33

Shina is a blonde hair QUEEN! She pays close attention to detail which is why I still get compliments on my hair almost 3 months after she colors it. I am a solid natural brown (as seen in picture with brown hair) and with time, proper care and shina's magic, I am the blonde I have always wished of (as seen in blonde pictures). I will never trust anyone with my hair other than her, she makes the hour drive so worth it!

I have been seeing Khrystyna since February of 2020 for highlights. This is the first time I've gone lighter with my hair and I am so thankful she is the one to do it. She makes me feel safe, comfortable, explains the entire process, answers all of the questions I have, and recommends the perfect products to keep my hair safe while we are in between sessions. Bethany is my lash tech and she is awesome. She does a great job every time and always checks to make sure everything is going good every step of the process. I recommend her to anyone who is new to getting lashes or looking for a new technician. The salon is always clean and tidy as well.

I see khrystyna here and she is just amazing! I have been going here for a couple of years and when I tell you I get compliments on my hair everyday I mean everyday! Everyone loves my hair my whole family goes here now. This is a very nice place, everyone who works there is always so friendly. Mandi has been doing my hair for the past 9 years. Of course after almost a decade together I love her for so many reasons aside from her talent but her talent is what got me a loyal seat in her chair. She has the best eye, she’s honest, trustworthy and a blonde magician. Mandi, Khrystyna and Bethany are perfectionists and never give anything but 100%. They are the real MVP’s.
