A new Hobby Lobby store had grand opening in Solon yesterday! It’s large beautiful store and huge parking lot in the center of Solon. It’s the great place for people who love crafting and decorating! I was walking through the store today and took some pictures for sharing! I’m so glad to be the first person to review!🤗🤗

Couldn't find anyone to help me locate some specific items I was shopping for. Only 1 cashier working, had 9 people ahead of me. Once she completed ringing up my purchase, she asked if I wanted them individually wrapped (they were all glass /ceramic mugs) I felt I was inconveniencing her so I told her she could wrap 2 together. After the transaction was completed with my credit card, she asked if I'd like to buy a bag for .10¢. Shouldn't that question been asked before my purchase? I had no idea they didn't provide bags for purchases. Very disappointed!

No, nope. Hobby Lobby is not necessary here or anywhere. Michaels and Joanne Fabrics are beautiful craft stores nearby-- I suggest checking those out instead. Heck-- even try Five Below! They have an arts and crafts section too!

Always find something to decorate with or a new crafting idea. My husband is very happy that they are now stocking the Japanese import Gundam models (if they are on sale and out of stock in store ask for a rain check, they will honor the promotion price even if it's not on sale).

Cashier was ridiculous to me when I made a comment about having to pay for a bag and then accused me of yelling at her when I didn’t. Long story short, I walked out when she refused to finish ringing me out! All over me saying I remembered why I don’t shop at this store and it was about having to pay for bags! It may be a county thing but I will no longer step foot in this store because of that cashier’s attitude towards me and will not be shopping in Solon anymore because of this ridiculous policy.

Always a great shopping experience. Store is well-stocked and clean all the time. There is something for everyone here. A±+++++

Like their selections and sales. But checking out seems to always take forever due to them having only 1 or 2 cashiers at a time. Don't like that they already put out Christmas decorations in July - August though.

Would normally have no reason to go in a store like this but had a odd project to do but the place looked very organized and well kept and staff seemed polite also
