What a great gem in the city of Cleveland. This place is really cool on the inside. Very spacious. There is plenty of seating on the inside and they have a large beer garden on the outside. Great selection of beers from your darks, fruit sours and everything in between. They have a beer for everybody's taste. They also serve food. Not an extensive menu but if you're hungry the food is very good. Try the chili if it's on the menu. Parking can be a bit of a hassle during the busy hours but well worth the visit.

Named after Cleveland's original nickname, this brewery stands out by having the most laid-back, welcoming atmosphere of all the fine breweries in and around the city. It's kinda' like if your kids had turned your old pole barn into clubhouse with stuff the scrounged from the neighborhood.

Grab an awesome beer created by Brewmaster, Matt Smedley and take a walk around Forest City Brewery. I included photos of how the place is decorated. You have to visit in person to enjoy the full experience. Great beers, unique atmosphere, good food and live music. I want to make a road trip back to experience the beer garden during warm weather. I also like that you have King Ludwig Hefeweizen on tap after being told the beer garden here is one of the oldest beer gardens in Cleveland. Nice staff.

So much fun with awesome beer brewed by the head brewer Matthew Smedley. I love the coffee porter! Lots of selection and the beer garden is reminiscent of any Key West Bar. The band, Hot Club of Cleveland, played some wonderful tunes!

If you want outdoor seating this the place. Huge space with ample seating inside and out. I got the black IPA and it was delicious.

For a place that is small on the outside, but as you enter through the doors, it so much bigger than you realize. They have food and a full bar for people who like drinks other than beer.

Located near Columbus and Abbey Ave and in between Tremont and Ohio City, the Forest City Brewery “beer garden” includes a large dining room and huge back patio where live bands play regularly. They weren’t kidding when Cleveland Scene voted them as best beer garden in town. On a cool autumn evening, this place hit the spot. The string lighting, the fog outside, and the Halloween decor, really made it a place to be desired. I enjoined the live folk music, and array of board games available to play. Excellent brews, in an awesome atmosphere. Friendly and quick service. I really can’t wait to come back.

confused. came for the opening day ipa but even tho it's on the menu, they didn't have it. so ordered the kolsch but it is also in a can but tastes like a belgian wit. just very confused and the bartender has no idea. heard good things so disappointing. also there are about five people here at 8:30 on a friday. just a super weird experience. where are the drafts?

I cannot say enough good things about this place. When the power went out at the original venue for a wedding I was in, they stepped up and took us in when a lot of other places said no. It could not have been a simple task to welcome an entire wedding reception into their space with barely any notice but they did and we are forever grateful. These people are the best and the food and drinks were top notch. Hands down our new favorite brewery!

I was apart of a bridal party where our original venue lost power and we were scrambling last minute to find somewhere to host our reception. Forest City took in 150 of us that day. They made sure they had adequate staffing to properly serve all of us. They truly made our night special and one we will never forget. Thank you, Charlie! Also the beer and food was delicious and the bartenders were incredible!

Loved the Oktoberfest beer! Unfortunately, I have two (honestly well behaved) kids. My husband and I showed up at 3:00 PM for one beer and we were notified (after ordering and sitting down) we weren’t welcome with the kids but they’ll “let us stay”. Ah, come on - This is Cleveland. Read the room. Look at your audience. I’ve seen dogs there more obnoxious. The kids are just sitting there on chairs and it’s 3:00 PM. We’ll grab a beer and run but thank you OH SO KINDLY for allowing us to stay after we opened up a tab.

Their patio is Amazing and like no other- it’s huge and all mulch, and small stage. Drinks didn’t seem terribly priced and came in old fashioned glass mug. Can’t wait to come back and try the food. To note, the inside had trivia when I was there.

This place was gorgeous, the main bar area was fun, the patio was spacious and so cute, the big room was amazing. I went for a bingo night and always pleasantly surprised with a great show and a fun crowd. The bartenders were helpful and polite. The beer selection was great, we had a few tasty ones!!! They didn’t have food that day but I’m looking forward to going back again soon.

Had our wedding reception here and it was so much fun! They were extremely easy to coordinate our wedding logistics with and gave us pretty much free rein of the place. Would highly recommend forest city to host your events!

One of the best atmosphere's in the city, hands down coolest beer garden! The staff is super friendly and they have a good selection of beers on draft and in can.

One of best breweries I have been to in Cleveland. A great stage for live acts and an awesome tap area just for water! Worth visiting!

Best outdoor beer garden and friendly bartenders that I’ve ever been to in a very long time ! was very surprised when I found this place so happy there’s a beautiful spot like this located near a city inside in a residential area

Went here on a Saturday at 2pm with our daughter and our dog to meet family from out of town. We’ve been here many times before and love it. Was told they do not allow children on Saturdays, stating “family day” is on Sundays. Would not even let us sit outside. They were not busy and our daughter is well behaved and quiet. They did however allow dogs outside.. We were so disappointed that they wouldn’t allow us to stay. We had to re arrange plans with our family and went to Brewdog instead- a much friendlier establishment that allows “families” with children. We unfortunately will never be coming back here. About an hour later, a family member sent us this photo from their outside area- a child with family sitting outside at the brewery. Do better Forest City..
