This line is ridiculous. Horrible management and customer service experience. There is no "run in and run out" here. You will definitely have to wait. Staff does not seem concerned about the line as they walk back and forth past the customers. There were at least 25 people in line ahead of me....totally worth the extra 10-15 minute drive to a different home depot next time.

Went to get something simple just some door locks and ended up waiting over an hour just to pay. The lines were end to end of the store. Most people are missing out on work time which means missing out on money. Also customer service was not checking people out

I posted a similar review a few years ago and it looks like it's deleted, wonder why? Well, once again, I just left Lowe's because no one at Home Depot waited on me after standing in the appliance section, and yes. I did ask for assistance. 3/1/2023 - I am modifying this and adding another star. Maybe they changed management because the last few times I went, I had a much better experience. Everyone was very helpful. There was a helpful gentleman, I think his name was Carl, who worked in the lumber department.

No one here can be bothered to help. Today asked 5 different people to help and none could be bothered to help or find someone who could. They showed 25 items in stock but none were out and they did not care to even look. I will be closing my Home Depot card and never going to come back, just the worst.

This Maple Hts., Southgate store is horrible. The workers (especially the young ones) are so lazy it’s pathetic. It is definitely worth the drive going to another store (i.e west side stores), you’re guaranteed to get far better customer service.

I was at first frustrated, getting off from work this morning I thought I would be able to just contact customer service for curbside but I ended going in. However, a very nice young man brought my order out to the car and placed the order inside. I was sooo appreciative, I almost hugged him. Sooo, in the end I was satisfied/happy!

They have self checkout, they don't let you use it. Someone is standing at one or two of the machines and it always causes a massive line. The store is disorganized and nobody is around to help and if you find someone, they don't know or seem to care. Whoever manages this store needs fired. Save yourself some time and aggravation and drive 20 minutes to another Home Depot store or 5 minutes down the road to Lowes.

So far terrible experience. Bought a GE washer, that came without parts. This after 2 technician checked as to why machine did not work (machine has no parts to make it run). Have spent over 2 weeks trying to get new machine. After 3 hours telling the rep, I did not want parts, I wanted a new machine,GE rep hung up on me and said not our problem. I have talked to 6 people at Home Depot and still waiting since October 14th to get new machine with parts. So disappointed with both GE and Home Depot. Will never buy another GE product and will tell anyone that will listen, take your money elsewhere. You cannot use COVID as an excuse as to why products are not manufactured correctly .

I purchased red mulch to be delivered on yesterday. I woke up and there were mulch bags where I asked it to be left! Great job!! Lowes need to take notes! Thank you very much!!!!!

This is my first time at Home Depot in Maple Heights (honestly first time to any Home Depot in over a year). The parking isn't the greatest, but other than that it's your typical Home Depot. Every sales associate I interacted with was very nice and helpful!

If you need a new patio door, you're better off going to Lowes. Worst experience ever dealing with this company amongst their manufacturers and 3rd party deliveries.

Great place to buy furniture. Comforters and anything else for household. And backyard patios. I really like this store. It is located in Elyria Ohio. The people were very friendly very helpful and I really like the store.

Went for dry lock. My niece bought a house and it needs some TLC. I like to start in the basement first. Everything I needed to seal her basement was where their employee told me,not a walking around looking in the wrong allies. Ty. Kindly.

Awesome Customer service! First time shopping at this Home Depot, and will not be my last. As soon as I walked into the door, I was greeted by an associate who asked me if I needed any help. I told him that I needed a ladder and door stops and he directed me to the two aisles. When I got to the first aisle, he actually meet me there to see if I found the door stops and then pointed the way to the ladders. I saw associates throughout the store stocking shelves and helping out other customers. It was great to see because I do not see this at the Home Depot store that I shop at close to my house. Lastly, when I got to my car with my ladder, I opened my trunk and back car doors to pull my seats down and another associate came over without my request and helped me put the ladder in my car. GREAT Customer Service!!!! THANK You!

Some times I find it hard to locate a specific item in such a huge store, and you can't always find a associate for help. Even when you do locate a associate sometimes they send you to the wrong area. So my favorite addition to the Home Depot website is that you can look up the item you are looking for and it will give you the aisle number and the bay number. In my experience using this trick it has always sent me to the correct location in the store.

I got a front entry door and storm installed.. they actually did a great job. Install wasn’t cheap but well worth it. Installer name was Doug! He knows what to do and gets the job done correctly

Unfortunately the world is suffering from a lack of employees and this Home Depot has to be the worst ever. Called the store no answer, go into the store , no assistance. It’s almost as if the handful of employees who are working, have no interest in customer care or service at all. Ultimately the manager Mo’nique was very polite, helpful and courteous!!

We must work on Customer Service in these stores. Having product knowledge is key to converting customers into fans. "I don't know" "I don't know" "I don't think so" "what is that" are the answers customers continue to receive in these stores. It starts at the top!!! Numbers You Guys! No exceptional Customer Service first and the numbers will follow. 🤦🏼‍♂️ In 2022, we touched 5M in Real Estate in Ohio, we wasted thousands in gas bypassing certain Home Depots because of the poor customer service and poor product knowledge. In 2023 we'll be launching a Podcast based on customer service in Ohio as it relates to retail stores with the goal of sharing what we're seeing, in hopes that it will change for the better.

I prefer HD to competitors but this is not my favorite store, despite it being the closest to home. Always seems a little messy, and hasn't had what I needed several times. Better than Lowe's and okay if it's on my way, but I usually drive a little further to Macedonia, or even further to Streetsboro if I have extra time. Good prices, stock is hit and miss, garden/outdoor department is lacking. Good people here though who know their stuff and take their jobs seriously - five stars to them if not the store overall.

I spent a lot of money at every home. Depot your Southgate location. Your cashier's African American overweight cuss me out in front of everybody today I don't know who you guys are hiring and what is the purpose for not being professional? I will spend my money at Lowe's in menards from this point out.

I wish I could send them a bill for all the time I've wasted in the checkout line here. You're lucky if you check out in under 10 minutes.
