We just ordered 4 meals. The sweet n sour chicken was awful. I could barely cut it with my knife. The chicken was like trying to cut rubber. It was hard and over cooked or maybe yesterday's chicken thrown in. I will never order from this place again. The Tallmadge Erie St Chinese restaurant was far superior. I could least eat the chicken. I resent paying $14 for a meal I have to throw out or just eat the rice. Also cheap on sweet n sour sauce.

Love this place. The service is wonderful and the waitress can remember everyone's order. I enjoy the decor it is beautiful.

Great place to dine. Owners are very friendly. We ate Japanese but have had Chinese food there too . It is older building but delicious food.

I was referred to Golden Dragon, for Sushi. I ordered the spicy crab. It was real crab, and absolutely amazing. I have been dreaming about sushi since the pandemic started. And this was worth the wait. I ate in the parking lot and couldn't stop myself, I had to call them and thank them for a wonderful meal.

Chai is the best sushi chef in akron and all the surrounding towns . Great fish quality. Hugh rolls. Super menu. Best wasabi in ohio. Funny great chef. Peace Love Sushi

Terrible experience. Avoid. Wonton Soup had two wontons for $3.95. The hard lettuce cores with watery dressing that tasted like soy sauce was $4.95. The paltry eight mini pieces of hard rice with stale, soggy shrimp and sesame seeds was $15.95. I have never seen such pathetic Chinese food! $27.59. Absolute robbery. The waitress was as pleasant as a migraine.

The food here is absolutely phenomenal. Egg rolls are amazing as well as some of the best sushi I've ever had. Once you go there and return they will remember you. They create such a fun environment

I go back with this place to when it was about 2 miles up the road and it was called "Peking-Tokyo". It has ALWAYS been one of my favorites and has NEVER disappointed me. Not once. I've had Chinese, Japanese, sushi... All of it. One of the better places in the area for this kind of food, and by a very good clip.

Worst I've had .I've been eating Chinese for years.Went for takeout.Waited over an HR.Ive been in plenty of restaurants and if I was going to have a long wait period,Staff or owners had the COMMON COURTESY to let me know.When we got home and realized we were charged 39$ for rice and veggies and a small portion of (Possibly Rat).I'm not sure.But I Dam sure know what a Happy Family and pepper steak supposed to look like.WANT some real Chinese.Jaded Dragon East Gate Plaza.Never again.Had I been closer that garbage would have been tossed on their Dinning Area floor.

Excellent sushi restaurant. I have been eating there since the nineties. Ming the merciless roll and three musketeers roll are awesome.

I have been dinning here since the late 1980's. Fantastic people. Sincere and kind. Always great food. When you eat here it's like eating at your own home table. God bless this family. They work very hard to make you feel at home.

Very lovely service, the people are so sweet and funny and very friendly! It’s hard to find a Chinese spot that understands you so they get your order wrong but they understand very well and got my order correct. Decor inside is very nice, makes it feel homey. Im giving 3 stars because the quality of the food: my noodles were like rubber and flab- although they did give me a lot of meat in my house special lo-mein… it’s like the noodles were soaked in milk with water and are very soggy. My egg rolls were big which was a plus but had no seasoning or flavor and not much shrimp in them. Besides that, it was ok. Noodles just made the entire meal not taste well and I asked for sweet and sour sauce they gave me four cups the size of a small hersheys kisses- literally. Thank you for the food though!

OMG BEST SUSHI EVER !!!! Chai is very nice and funny at the sushi bar their Chinese food is also excellent and their hot and sour soup is the best I have ever had very good with social distancing And they do takeout. They have a nice fish pond in the restaurant too very good place to go

There is shrimp in the egg rolls! There multiple, so it wasn't a simple mistake. Shrimp was not listed as an ingredient on the Door Dash menu. Thank God I'm not allergic, but someone else might be.

Preface: I have heard rave reviews from neighbors/locals that this place has great sushi. Everyone seems to agree on that. I did not order sushi. I ordered some simple takeout, chicken/beef & rice-type dishes, and was fairly disappointed. Not only were the flavors underwhelming, the serving sizes were smaller than I was expecting for the prices. If you want takeout, there are other options nearby. If you want sushi, this place comes highly recommended.

This is the BEST sushi! We love going because of the food but we love the service even more! Everyone there is fun and makes everyone feel like family.

Seated quickly on a Friday night and the Magic began. Wanted to try something different so I ordered the Chicken Pho. It came out hot and steamy. There was a side of bean sprouts, pepper slices and a lime. I put the bean sprouts and it added a wonderful crunch! There was a lot of chicken and lots of the noodles. They had 2 different sauces and they showed me how to use them. What a great choice. My wife had chicken with broccoli. She had them add water chestnuts and it was perfectly cooked in a light sauce. Was a great meal, we are stuffed and highly recommend this place to anyone!

We ate here for the first time in a few years, since we moved away. The food was great. General Chicken was fantastic. The won ton soup was very good as well as the egg roll. Service was good and food came out hot.

Been going to this sushi bar with my father on or for my birthday since I was 7 maybe 8 years old for sushi. Family owned and ran great Sushi great atmosphere and is a place I hold special in my heart being tradition. I love the sushi they offer traditional Chinese dishes as well. Full bar and good variety of beer domestic and imports. Try it you'll love it and maybe turn it into your own tradition with someone special to you be it a girlfriend wife son etc.

Was charged 11.80 for 4 cokes. 3 of which i was told were only half full because they didnt have lids for my kids cups. The food wasnt even that good. I wont be coming back.

They are so friendly here. The service is so kind and warming every time I'm there. They remember your face and name, at least my husband and mine. The atmosphere can throw you off at first, but it's different and not what you would expect, especially from the outside. I have have to admit, do not judge a book by is cover. Their food is really good, I've been on more than one occasion. It usually hit the spot when that's what I'm looking for. It's my favorite go to fit Chinese food and I highly recommend.

Normally I'm a strict Sweet & Sour chicken or pork, and my husband is a General TSOs. The 1st time we went there, he got his regular but it isn't that sweet & spicy TSOs, it's very savory and my new favorite!! So much so that that is what I order now!! Also, their Crab Rangoos are oh soooo good!!! They don't skimp on the filling, which is soooo creamy!! Their Egg Drop Soup has nice size pieces of eggs & is also very delicious!!

I have been going to this restaurant for literally 30 years and the worst thing that ever happened was that I met a rude customer there one time. it is the most consistently great restaurant I've ever encountered. there is a sushi bar and traditional seating. both are different experiences and I recommend them all.

This place is great! The service was incredible. The food was wonderful. The dining room was nice and quiet. The prices are fair and the quality of the food was good. My only regret is not coming here sooner. I can't wait to come back!

Just went there Saturday for my great grandson‘s birthday. The food was great the eggrolls were very tasty compared to most other places I had the broccoli and beef and it was scrumptious everyone had a great time food was hot when they brought it out service was good I would highly recommend.

We had door dash pick up and deliver our meals. The sweet and sour chicken was over cooked and so we're the shrimp egg rolls. The only thing that was good was the white rice. The entire pu pu platter was severely over cooked. Some items were so over cooked they were not even edible. Skewered chicken was like leather and very dried out, egg rolls, fried wonton impossible to eat, fried shrimp, cream cheese won ton and burnt shrimp toast were all horrible. The only item not severely over cooked were the scallops and they weren't even scallops. Some sort of fish stuff (very thin strip) was rolled into a scallop shape and breaded. I will never order from this place again!!!! I am so totally disappointed!!

You got to love a place where the owner has a smile in his voice over the phone and you can hear how crazy busy it is in the background. The food is always good here. We do take out which is always delicious & fresh. We happened to order this Chinese New Year & had to wait a bit. I thoroughly enjoyed that wait just so I could soak up the atmosphere. The lobby has gorgeous Chinese wares for sale-things you would love to give or receive. The best part tho was the owner greeting his regulars. He makes you feel right at home-genuinly from his heart. The wrong receipt made it into our bag-a merchant copy he probably would want back- I'm so happy to go back & return it just to experience that warmth again. Friends it's about kindness these days. You can get a heaping dose right here. But do bring your own too!🤗🙏🥡🥠🎍🎎🧧

If you used to love this place you wont now . everyone is rude , the food is all cold and dried out and you have to point to what you want and they put it on a styrofoam plate . we will never , ever go back 😠 by the way , it was saturday night at 8 oclock , not an off-time .

Amazing service and food. Tables are well spaced out and staff are wearing gloves and masks. Traditional Chinese dishes offered along with Japanese cuisine. Great place for family dining.

If you want to actually eat today you might as well go somewhere else. Never seen a restaurant tell you a time and then make you still wait an hour standing around. Slowest service ever. Zero interest in getting food out. But don't worry. It'll only be "a couple more minutes".

Unfortunately, as much as I would like to say that this restaurant is awesome.....it isn't. The fried rice was a container of rice soaked in soy sauce with two pieces (not exaggerating) of carrot in it, and a few shreds of egg. The two entrees that we got both lacked flavor even though they were swimming in sauce. The nicest thing about this place was the phone manner of the woman who took our order and the atmosphere inside is very nice.

What a great find! Chai is not only an amazing sushi chef, the guy is hilarious! Great food, portions, fresh and presentation. Must go for the atmosphere as well....very welcoming and genuine.

New restaurant to us. Had a really great experience! Our waitress was really funny and the other staff super friendly, even after a very busy day of Lunar New Year patrons. Food was great. We had the pu pu platter, orange beef, Kung Pao chicken, sweet and sour chicken, all of it was great. Reminded us of Chinese restaurants from when we were kids. We will definitely go back!

Did not get what we ordered. Very small portions, ordered to go so they couldn't see what we got. Very disappointing. Called and asked for partial refund on a $90 order, said he could give $10 for not receiving 2 items we ordered and 5 nugget size pieces of chicken in each meal. Won't go back.

We've been going to The Golden Dragon for 30 years and they have the best sushi in town! Their sushi extremely fresh, the pieces are huge, and the prices are great. Chai and Hong always make it a fun experience and the service is outstanding. Consistent outstanding quality. It's a great family run restaurant who appreciate their customers. Their miso soup, teriyaki, tempura, fried bananas, and Chinese cuisine are also top notch. Highly recommend by JBoz and the family.

The food was great! I had the sweet and sour chicken, it was $13.95. I did get extra fried rice, that was $1.00 extra. Best Chinese food I've had. Has fish in tank and in the ground with bridge over section. Love, would highly recommend.
