My
experience
with
Hidden
Tree
thus
far
has
not
been
ideal.
At
the
start
of
my
apartment
search
I
contacted
Hidden
Tree
about
the
units
available,
and
Alex
was
gracious
enough
to
send
me
photos
(since
I
was
out
of
state.)
But
the
following
days
he
was
off,
&
I
attempted
to
contact
Denise
from
leasing.
I
couldn’t
get
a
reply-
and
when
I
did,
she
hung
up
on
me,
and
told
me
she
would
call
back
and
did
not.
By
the
time
Alex
was
back
in
office,
there
was
only
one
apartment
left;
the
one
without
a
dishwasher.
I’m
not
completely
displeased
with
my
actual
unit,
although
there
was
false
advertising
because
on
the
website
it
states
that
every
apartment
has
a
dishwasher.
Apparently
mine
was
one
of
the
‘few’
that
did
not-
&
I
was
not
offered
any
price
adjustment
on
my
lease,
which
is
unfortunate.
I
brought
this
up
to
Alex
and
he
apologized.
Signing
the
lease
was
also
a
hassle,
because
I
was
not
given
any
tutorial
on
how
to
set
up
payments
or
make
a
one-time
payment.
Also,
my
auto-payment
did
not
process
correctly
and
for
my
first
month’s
payment
I
received
a
late
fee
(which
has
since
been
waived).
Furthermore,
Alex
had
said
that
everything
in
the
unit
had
been
checked
and
was
working/
clean
prior
to
move
in.
But,
upon
moving
in,
the
faucet
to
my
shower
was
completely
hanging
out
of
the
wall
and
the
shower
head
wasn’t
fully
working.
Since
then
there
has
also
been
a
leak
under
my
bathroom
sink
and
the
refrigerator
currently
has
no
‘freon,’
so
all
of
my
food
has
been
getting
wet.
There
are
other
general
negatives,
too-
such
as
only
coin
operated
laundry,
no
recycling
in
the
entirety
of
the
apartment
community,
inconsistent
snow
plow
of
the
parking
lot,
no
fitness
center,
etc.
Also,
the
inside
of
my
apartment
building
regularly
smells
like
smoke.
Not
sure
if
this
is
a
non-smoking
place
-
but
it’s
awful.
With
all
that
being
said,
the
surrounding
area
is
nice;
with
the
neighborhood
and
walking
paths.
It's
a
relatively
quiet
apartment
building
with
nice
views,
and
a
good
amount
of
space
with
natural
light.
I
enjoy
that
it
is
not
filled
with
students,
and
feels
like
a
mature
environment.
But,
overall
this
process
has
been
a
hassle
and
will
continue
to
be,
as
I
have
to
make
more
service
requests
for
everything
that
needs
work
(even
though
I
have
only
been
living
here
a
month).
I
usually
do
not
write
reviews,
as
a
full-time
working
individual,
but
I
took
time
intentionally
for
this
review
because
I
wanted
to
let
others
know
and
hopefully
this
will
get
the
attention
of
the
leasing
office
to
get
their
stuff
together.
I
do
not
plan
on
moving
out,
but
I
wish
there
would
have
been
compensation
for
my
inconveniences,
and
I
hope
that
a
lot
of
my
concerns
can
get
taken
care
of
ASAP.
To
finish,
there
does
not
seem
to
be
a
lot
of
apartments
in
East
Lansing
with
overly
positive
reviews-
so
I
guess
it
is
a
matter
of
'picking
your
poison.'
&
just
making
the
best
choice
given
the
information
you
have
and
keeping
in
mind
what
is
most
important
to
you.
