The salted pistachios and amareno is uniquely exceptional. Service is excellent. Definitely worth the train ride with a great view of the beach to experience it. Grazie! Washroom is very clean.

We made holiday for two weeks in Palermo, Cefalu und Balestrate. We tried many different „Gelato“. But the Bar gelateria Cavalluccio had the beeeeeeest gelato! Best Gelato in my life !!!

Nice no nonsense bar with an almost 60ish vintage charm, my favorite 'waterhole' in Balestrate.

I had read some less than stellar reviews that commented on the friendliness of the server/owner, the fact that you can't see the gelato (gelato should be stored covered anyway, as any afficionado knows) etc. and well if these things matter to you, then don't come here! We came for the gelato, and we were not disappointed. This was the best gelato we've had in three visits to Italy thus far (and tasting gelato every day). It's worth visiting this tiny town just for this! As for flavours, we had 8-10 tastings within our group, and frankly, you can't go wrong with any of them. Well done, and keep up the great work!

Ottima gelateria, tante varietà di gusti fatti a dovere. Le granite sono speciali, la migliore quella alla pesca, ma anche pistacchio e mandorla. Prezzi nella norma. Unico difetto è che non c'è un accesso per passeggini e carrozzine.
