Our
initial
experience
at
this
establishment
was
fantastic,
prompting
a
return
a
week
later
to
ensure
it
wasn't
merely
a
coincidence.
The
second
visit
to
Old
Brea
Chop
House,
while
slightly
falling
short
of
the
first,
remained
very
enjoyable!
In
my
humble
opinion,
there's
room
for
improvement
in
ensuring
the
host
staff
and
management
consistently
provide
an
inviting
atmosphere,
extending
the
warm
welcome
to
all
guests,
not
just
regulars.
Similar
to
our
first
visit,
the
ambiance
and
service
were
amazing,
creating
a
delightful
atmosphere.
Zach,
our
bartender,
stood
out
with
his
attentiveness
and
informative
responses
about
entrees
and
other
menu
items.
A
special
shout-out
to
the
bar
staff
for
recognizing
and
celebrating
the
Marine
Corps
birthday
and
Veterans
Day
with
us!
These
thoughtful
touches
truly
enhance
the
dining
experience.
This
time,
I
opted
for
the
burger
based
on
a
previous
recommendation,
but
unfortunately,
it
fell
short
of
expectations.
It
was
the
most
under-seasoned
burger
I've
ever
had--just
a
sprinkle
of
salt
and
pepper
could
have
made
a
significant
difference.
The
brick-grilled
Mary's
chicken
also
lacked
seasoning,
despite
being
perfectly
cooked.
On
a
brighter
note,
the
ricotta
gnocchi
with
crab,
BBQ
shrimp,
and
grilled
oysters
were
absolutely
perfect
and
lived
up
to
expectations.
Despite
a
couple
of
disappointments,
the
overall
visit
was
enjoyable,
thanks
to
the
excellent
service
and
those
standout
dishes.
Anticipating
my
next
culinary
adventure!
