For someone who loves rice, especially Asian rice, this place is the bee’s knees! Long grain, silky rice. I got their fried rice with tofu and each bite took me on a flavor adventure and I felt so satisfied. If I lived in Houston,I would make this restaurant a weekly habit. Highly recommend adding an egg to your rice dishes 👌 Kid friendly, I brought my 1 year old who made a rice mess, I tried cleaning up after but the staff was super nice about it and said don’t worry. Great selection of beers and wine here. Monday - Saturday has happy hour deals! Like 1/2 off wine glasses and $4 for select beers on Friday. Nice wooden interior decor makes the place feel homey but fresh.

Incredible food! I simply asked for their best seller and got the Shaking beef.. absolutely delicious. And I don't even like kale but it was one of the best salads I've had. Really happy it's only down the street from me. Very laid back atmosphere and great service. Will definitely be back!

Hughie's describes itself as vietnamese food but much of it is Americanized and there is completely non-vietnamese fare as well. To be expected from a quick glance at the menu and the name of the restaurant that it won't be anything authentic, but the food is still tasty! We got the shaking beef that was good but didn't have much traditional Vietnamese seasoning, and also the salmon. The salmon was flavored well. The kale salad the entrees come with were also good. Lots of parking. The restaurant had very millennial vibes. Nice reverse happy hour.

Tried this place on Saturday, ate here again on Monday. Best Bánh Mì I’ve had. One day I tried the Shaking chicken, other sautéed beef each with a fried egg. Both were good. The shaking chicken was awesome. Also tied the 5 spice pho and egg roll. Staff is great too!

Hughie's has been a favorite spot of my family for a while. It can sometimes be a little awkward when we order because the four of us usually order the exact same thing...oops! The atmosphere is that of a lively sports bar and there are usually a decent number of people present. Despite this, getting seated immediately has never been an issue for us. They have a broad selection of beers that is sure to have something that will suit your taste. Their menu has a similarly large assortment of items. I have tried many and have not found anything I do not like. The stand out menu item for me is the shaking beef plate served with white rice and a kale salad. The beef is consistently cooked to perfection at medium rare and even though I am not a "kale person" I love the kale salad here. Hughie's is a great spot to go if you're looking for somewhere to catch a game or to grab a casual sit down meal and my family and I will be returning many times in the future!

Came here with my mother in law and her sisters to celebrate a late Mother's Day and had a wonderful time. Our server helped us with questions we had about the menu and gave great suggestions. The food was absolutely delicious and they give some good size servings. Many items could be easily shared. They also have a great selection of beers. Parking is a little challenging but this place is worth it!

Definitely kid friendly. The restrooms were clean. The food was great. They had an awesome kid menu they’re not pushing you to get out even though it does get full parking was a little tricky but the ambience and everything inside makes it worth it.

This place is a great place to dine with friends. The shrimp shake specialty is savory and light. The whole table of 8 people I ate with all order different plates. Everyone left happy and satisfied. I think we will be back soon!

Food is consistent and delicious. Great tiramisu, a touch different than a traditional but in a good way! Effort even put in on my Arnold Palmer…definitely recommend

Had a great lunch with my sister and enjoyed the Sweet Chili Wings! Our server Henry was so kind and patient. He made our visit pleasant and answered our many questions regarding ingredients to ensure our food allergies were not an issue! We will be back soon! 😋

Had the shaking beef with the kale salad and it was delicious! I'm told the entire menu is tasty. The best part of the experience was the wide selection of great craft beers. Our wait staff had only been there for 7 days and she did an amazing job!
