The Wrigley Mansion and Gardens. Official headquarters of the Tournament of Roses 🌹 The garden is open to walk through and free street parking is available. Stop and smell the roses. The aroma wafting through the garden, was so intoxicating, l had to just stop, inhale deeply and enjoy the serenity. There is a small replica of the mansion at the side entrance of the garden that is a free sharing library bring a book or take a book.

Very formal structure, with formal lawn, and formal rose garden. The rose garden is nice but not maintained as well as Huntington's (maybe it was because of the time of the year I was there). The rose photos I included are the "best of's" and not typical.

One of the highlights of the Wrigley Mansion is it's rose garden. Coming into full bloom now. Beautiful variety of roses on display. Free street parking on Arbor, no admission fee.

This place has been closed since COVID started. Was just there a couple weeks ago and the staff tells me they're closed due to it being the off season. Allowed me inside, but wouldn't allow me to use the bathroom or see the inside of the mansion. Just a shadowbox of a few items inside.

There is so much land, laid way back from the street, that you feel as if you are in your own little private world. Very peaceful. The main buildings were all closed because it was Sundsy, but enjoyed sitting in the gazebo with several benches. It's just a beautiful place to see and be at. I didnt know it at first but the owner, Mr. Wrigley, was the one who created Wrigkwy gum.

Visited the gorgeous rose garden and walked the grounds. Mansion was a winter home of the Wrigley family of chewing gum fame. It is owned by Pasadena and home of Tournament of Roses. So naturally they had beautiful roses. Also camellias, other flowers and a fabulous tree. Tours of home are free but one day/week and reserved ahead. It's a great place to walk around and enjoy some beautiful flowers.

Pasadena's Orange Grove Boulevard, also known as "Millionaire's Row," used to have lavish mansions. Although most are gone, William Wrigley's three-story, 21-room home remains as the headquarters of the Pasadena Tournament of Roses Association. Gifted to the City of Pasadena after Mrs. Wrigley's death, the mansion contains 125 years of Tournament of Roses memorabilia, including crowns and tiaras worn by former queens and princesses, a formal portrait of the reigning Rose Queen, and a unique Waterford crystal bowl commissioned for the Tournament's centennial celebration.

we didn’t tour the inside as we went on the a day they were closed. But the grounds are well kept and gorgeous!! This really is a must see. I took my young kids and walked all around. There is free parking on Arbor Street as well as a Free Mini Library designed after the mansion. Bring a book to leave, take a book.

Visited this home years ago as part of a conference where we learned how they handle their many volunteers. Beautiful house and lots of nice roses (as would be expected!) in the summer.

Tour of the Wrigley Mansion, offices of the Pasadena Tournament of Roses (PTR) organization. Was owned by the chewing gum guy. Willed to the PTR. Not a mansion in the sense of Getty, Hearst, etc., but a large historic home. Furnishings are period but not original to the house. If you are into the Rose Parade and Game you will get a lot out of this. If not, there are more elaborate mansions to see in LA. There are many rooms, one flight of stairs. Some rooms are just meeting rooms for the PTR staff. Queen and Court Room in photos. See crowns of past Queens (no precious stones) Free, Thursdays at 2 PM. Need reservations. Two hours. Follow it with dinner in Pasadena. Lots of good places.

Nice stately mansion, but as it is written, “When pride comes, then comes shame; But with the humble is wisdom.”

Lovely place to walk and picnic. Rose garden and shady trees add to it's appeal with locals many of whom delight in relaxing on the grounds or playing fetch with their dogs.

Indoor tours are cancelled for the rest of the season. Garden is open for self guided tour, not much to see though. Roses we're not in bloom, some construction going on in preparation for 2022 Rose Parade.
