A great place to visit while you’re in Adelaide. It has everything you need from veggies, fruits, to bakery items, cheese, coffee beans, wine, and many more. Well, you won’t find clothes here. But the market covers all your hunger needs. It’s two storey. The place has ample enough parking with a paid parking near by. Just because it’s a street market don’t expect cheap products. The items are of great quality too. It’s a good place to go if you wish to spend your Friday night having a bit of a walk.

Amazing place for fresh produce. Love how the coffee in the market and the variety of beans sold here. There are some seats for dinning and some wait may be required on Saturdays when it gets crowded. Do take note that the market is closed on Sunday and Monday. Easy to get lost in the market if you don't know how to navigate. Try to look at the ceiling at both ends which tells you which avenue you are about to shop at.

Great market and very central. They have everything you need and much more. Unfortunately we don’t live in Adelaide so could not buy anything. However, we had a coffee and a pastry in one of the cafes inside and it was very good.

Cute little markets in the middle of Adelaide city. It is right beside the Chinatown area and has a wide variety of foods and other interesting or exciting items. They have food from different countries and is a bit more upmarket compared to regular market food. It is also divided into different “avenues” to keep it organised. The shops range from grocery and meat stores, to bakeries and desserts, to spice and soap or homeware stores. It was quite enjoyable walking through here, and the best part is that it opens at 7am (3 days a week, 9am for the other days) and closes quite late on Fridays, and generally at 5:30pm for most other days. Probably one of the more enjoyable places to explore in Adelaide as there is generally something for everyone.

Let me jump straight into the highlights... Get the custard tarts near the entrance. This is the best tasting tarts I ever had in my life. This is not an exaggeration. I hope it finds its way to Singapore and the world eventually. Make sure you try the coffin bay oysters as well. It is not very fresh here as compared to the restaurant but... it certainly is much cheaper. Maybe you could ask and get them freshly shucked. There is a wide selection of food, fruits and vegetable but the price are not very competitive. It is a fun place to be at and certainly one of Adelaide's must go.

A great market place to visit when in Adelaide. Australia should have more like this, so many around the world. This place has fresh produce and a few places to sit and enjoy freshly made meals for breakfast or lunch. Does not open on Sunday!

A great market within the CBD’s proximity. Every stall is beautifully organised. I wish they had some souvenir stalls, though, as a tourist I found it difficult to find something to bring home.

Plenty of carpark spaces. There's lift, stairs and escalator to go down to ground level. Many vegetables and fruits stalls here and they all look so fresh indeed. There's butcher, stalls that sells chocolates, cheese and dairy products, seafood stall. There is also a stall that sells turkish delight as well. A number of eateries to choose from if you ever get hungry. I saw a lot of meet up with friends and relatives in the market probably because it's the start of weekend.

When I travelled in S.A, the Adelaide Central Market is one of my favorite places to visit. The building of the market is quite historical. Unlike the normal impression towards the market is wet and messy, the Central Market is clean and tidy. It has different stalls selling a wide range of products like fresh meat & poultry, vegetables & fruits, seafood, bakery, chocolates, cheese, etc. If you are a food lover, you may feel that is the place to go as it has different kind of food stalls, cafes and restaurants. 😊

Love to go for a stroll and have a snack/meal in Adelaide Central Market when I’m visiting Adelaide. The fresh produces and delicatessen stores are amazing. The specialised stores are a must visit. The little coffee shops, restaurants and bars make this place so special. A pilgrimage for me in Adelaide.

Superbly curated and good size well contained market with fresh produce of fruit, veg, deli, cheeses, seafood, bread… and a good selection of food stalls to satisfy the hunger while doing the shopping. The stuff available for purchase is so fresh and so decently priced. Such an enjoyable morning/afternoon to not only do the weekly grocery shop and also have a good feed. One of the best produce markets and Adelaide is so lucky to have it!! Wish there were more of this format of markets everywhere in Aus! (Super convenient with parking just above via the escalators too)

Nice clean little market situated near Chinatown. The market itself is not too big, everywhere is an easy walk. Lots of places to go for a coffee and lunch. The parking is spacious and not too costly. Do yourself a favor and grab a box of Portuguese tarts from Saudade!

Fresh vegetables, fruits and meats. Cakes, coffee and restaurants. I had the poffertjes (small fluffy pancakes) and it was really good. Cinnamon, lemon and cream on top and so yum.

Great range of fresh fruit and vegetables at great prices. Lots of variety in fish and cold meats as well. Can get busy Friday night and weekends as well. The car park does fill up quickly so it’s best to get in early. Great smells and heritage are at the markets too. If you get a chance to visit, I highly recommend going there for a visit.

The Adelaide Central Markets were amazing 🙌 The freshest produce and largest selections of fruit, vegetables, meat, cheese, and all assortments of things. It is a huge indoor market with endless isles to browse and feast from. This city is the cleanest city I have seen! We visited for the Fringe Festival, stopping along the way to visit friends in the country town of Sherlock, before hitting the Murray River and heart of the city centre. The markets are outstanding, and a credit to Adelaide 😊 Brisbane, Qld.

I recently visited the market and had a pleasant experience. The market was clean and well-organized, with a variety of stalls selling fresh fruits and vegetables, coffee, wines, and other delicious food items. I was impressed by the freshness and quality of the products. The stall workers were all friendly and had genuine smiles on their faces. I would definitely recommend visiting this market to anyone looking for high-quality products and a pleasant market-shopping experience.

Amazing place. It's clean, spacious, people are all warm and kind. There's different kind of stores that sells just about everything and you can find good snacks or gifts as souvenirs here too. There is a whole section of little restaurants and also another section of tables and chairs in the open for anyone to sit or dine. Highly recommended.

The place to be for every foodie in town! Whether you love to cook or just eat, you can find anything you could possibly need or want in terms of food & drinks. Great local offers, best prices for fresh produce and meat compared to supermarkets. Don’t miss out on visiting when you’re in Adelaide.

This is one of my favorite places in Adelaide. Lots of small businesses in the old fashion style market give you the chance to buy fresh fruit and vegetables. Prices are sometimes better than big supermarkets. You can buy breakfast and lunch there while buying your groceries.

This produce market is great! The best we've been to in all Australia. A definite highlight of Adelaide. Patisseries, butchers, florists, fruit and vegetables and cafes, just to name a few of the types of stalls.

A very good market. Everything you need is there. But I felt like some items are a little bit expensive. However, you have a big range of selections. On site car parking is also available. No idea about charges.

Good fun to browse around. You can also park here for the night and search the dinner options around due to its location, close to China Town and city center
