So close to that 5 star rating. I'll come back and hopefully be forced to change it haha Walked in and first impression was wow its beautiful, large fridge with unknown drinks in them, plenty of seating, good music. When I walked in there, I became the 2nd person in queue, and I was in that queue for maybe 5 mins. That wasn't a problem (nothing was REALLY a problem) but when I eventually ordered, I said I would love some food and drink, so I ordered my food and then the server went away, and I stood there waiting to order my drinks. Anyway about 5 mins later I was re-served and they apologized. But the GOOD POINTS the cherry beer! It's awesome! Give it a go! If you dont like it I bet you the person next to you does! Smallish menu but something for everyone and I picked some brilliant food! The squid and pork belly was so well cooked, crunchy, sticky and tasty! I made such a mess and it was so worth it. Absolutely amazing prices too! My Wife and I left here after ordering an appetiser, 2 mains, 2 drinks for under $90 and we left so satisfied. Thank you for such a chilled out evening!

Been here many times and had amazing meals but today was not good, see the photo of the medium steak... thin, dry, way over cooked, lobster... dry, tough and over cooked... pepper sauce was nice. All for $48, was offered a free round of drinks by waiting staff but just happy to pass on feedback to the chef.

We turned up for lunch on their clam specials day. They smashed it - beautiful fresh clams in broth, generous and so well presented. I had the marinara pasta which again was generous in size with prawns and calamari with muscles. I would have enjoyed a bit of fish. The fish burger was fresh with a large fresh fish piece and garden fresh salad. We enjoyed the beers, the ambiance and style. Thank you

Didn't even know this place existed. Nice fine,massive selection of beer. Service was good. Food good. Squid salad was on the pricey side at $27. Overall enjoyable outing

We had a great tasting of beers here. A very helpful bartender delighted our palates. We had a few nibbles and sat in a lovely spot and enjoyed our beers and conversations.

Visiting Belgian Beer Cafe was a pleasant experience. It’s a place with a very good atmosphere, I’m fascinated by the great variety of national and international beers. The staff is friendly, the flavour was delicious and the dishes were very generous in portions. A really good place to just have a beer or have a great dinner.

Absolutely Amazing is this place! I would definitely recommend to everyone! Whether it's for a meal in the dining area or enjoying some of their extensive collection of Beers& spirits it's all round the Best! We went there for a birthday dinner& also spent time at the bar sampling delicious Beers & the Staff& service are amazing for dining. The bar staff are friendly and I have to say my favourite was Caleb a skilled mixologist! He made me a exceptional drink with Lindemans Framboise Lambic Beer with a twist of gin🥰 I call it the Caleb special. It's a Belgian fruit beer made with 30%raspberry juice so it's got a genuine raspberry flavour that's not too sweet & one of my Favourite Beers now🤩 shout out to the other bar staff aswell! Was so happy with the atmosphere & service I gave a $40 tip to the staff tip jar! Thanks for a great meal& a great Saturday night🤗

Great schnitzel and beer in the arvo. All day food service is great (some pubs nearby had no food on offer). Schnitzel was large and tender. Recommend it.

Great atmosphere and the food was phenomenal! For a table of ten people, all good came out in good timing and each dish looked absolutely delicious. Really decently priced, too! The beer was delicious, couldn't go there and not try something from the extensive selection. Will be back for sure!

Enjoyed the food and the vibe Update: went there again, got this squid with pork belly and that was really yummy. Soft pork belly, almost melt in my mouth.

Disappointing to be honest. No make your own salad options anymore like Sydney offers! ( Food cooked in bad quality, left with a bad stomach for 2 days. Wasn't that clean either & staff didn't feel like they wanted to be there. Not visiting again.

My partner and I stopped by here for a drink and some lunch. Their drinks menu have always been very impressive, you will without a doubt, be able to find a drink that you will enjoy there. We settled for a cocktail each and they were amazing. I would highly recommend the mussel pot that they offer for food. It was delicious and plenty enough to share. The staff are always friendly and very tentative to you. Highly recommend Belgium beer cafe for drinks and food.

Food was good and atmosphere is also enjoyable. Staff had great attitude and very friendly. Only thing disappointed was there was no mention of kitchen and bar closing timings on booking confirmation page so we had to rush on the orders.

Really cool place - the food after going here twice is yummy and gets out together and quick. Both times we went here it was packed and the food came out in around 15 minutes. Probably could have done with a clean table though which we asked for three times and they didn’t do it. It was sticky. Other than that food was great - menu with variety and healthy options too. Would come back again!

A venue with great atmosphere, with sensational beer to drink. I had a Hoegaarden 98% equivalent, which was delicious. We didn't try the food, therefore we'll be back!

EXCELLENT FOOD & SERVICE.❤️ I had scotch fillet steak and perfectly cooked to my liking but not sure about having the bokchoy in my steak, i think it doesn't compliment with the dish especially if you have red wine jus as a sauce.This is just my opinion but overall it's still good food and loved my steak. Nikka and James were very helpful, friendly and very accomodating. Good customer service and we're very happy customers. Thumbs up to you guys.👍😉

Yummy beer and big steak! It is loud. Most times, there is a band playing. The bar is busy and it has a great atmosphere. Service is OK. I wish there table service for drinks, but that is Adelaide for you. The beers are nice and cold, I think it is one of the best place for beer's lovers.

My husband found beers here that he couldn't even find in Germany; so we had a very enjoyable dinner and drinks. The nachos are great bang for buck at only $21 for the pulled pork, and it was such a large portion. A companion ordered mussels and found they weren't prepared properly, very grainy and crunchy bits inside. That was a little disappointing but overall great vibe, food and drinks.

Not so sure if the management team takes customer feedback seriously. Similar feedback of ribs splashed with bbq sauce by another customer 2 years ago in what was supposed to be ‘crazy sticky ribs’. Nothing has changed. Won’t be back.

1st time here with friends before we went to Light Cycles , great atmosphere with the restaurant and pub offset to each other and had a nice beer garden set up with fire pits to keep warm Great service and the food was cook very well with no complaints around the table😁

Great location for the Fringe. Fabulous Trappist beer, white and dark. Be prepared for $18+ for large. But tasty!

I have been visiting Belgian Beer Cafe for a while and for a while, and it is great. Their beers are the highlight that's for sure, especially their cherry beer as it is so delicious but you really cannot have a whole big pint of it. It can get over the top so I would suggest start of their smallest serve and see what you think. The venue itself is great and has pretty crowd and vibe to it. It is always busy so make sure you either get a reservation or get their early. While I have had their food, it is not too bad just like your typical pub food.

One of my favs Beer cafe in Adelaide CBD. Nice vibe and atmosphere around. Always a great feeling going to this cafe. Totally, enjoy this place!

I've been here multiple times and always a brilliant place to go. Amazing beet selection, and the spirits & cocktails are great too. Love their gin selection. If you're going to eat here their menu is amazing too! Had the steak here once & it was cooked to perfection. Really friendly staff and a good set up of places to sit and enjoy your selection of drink and food. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

This place was on my list since so long…. Finally I got to go @thebelgianadelaide Let’s start with the vibe… omgggg such cool place right in the heart of the city, super happening… I wanna jump to food now…. Grilled cauliflower sandwich was like party of flavours in my mouth…. Barbecue sauce, some kinda red little spicy sauce made really great sandwich…. Burger was epic in itself and chips 😍😍😍 Ok I just have to take step back on Nachos, honestly I wouldn’t recommend Nachos, just because according me it was not even close to authentic However the overall experience was great and Adelaide people must not miss place 🤩🤩🤩🤩

The food is excellent! Ordered the lamb and my wife ordered Steak with mushroom sauce for my Birthday. They had kids choices which is a plus. Excellent.! Warm and fast service from Ms Nica and James made the experience worth coming back. Highly recomended.!

We popped in for a beer and we were very impressed. The friendly staff were very helpful and we decided on a tasting paddle. Loved each beer, especially the last fruity beer in the paddle - I just wish I could remember the name of it though!! We will definitely be coming back.
