My trip to Adelaide was absolutely sensational. It was made extra special by my trip to this 8th wonder of the world located in the heart of Adelaide. With fabulous specials and 50 different varieties of beers you can't miss this place. As per an amazing recommendation from Jake I ordered a rump steak on a stone grill. A one of a kind experience and the only stone grill left in Adelaide. Very delicious and a unique experience and is a must do for everyone. The shaken espresso martini that was made for me was so good. So good I just had to get a second. The customer service from Jake was second to none. Putting up with all my questions and unique requests. He made the experience so much better for me. Can't finish this without giving a shout out to Ruby. Greeted with a smile and a bouncy personality I was highly impressed with her management skills. A powerful member of the team showing that a job can also be made fun while remaining professional. A+ Hats of to the team of staff I unfortunately didn't get to meet which I hope to meet in the future. If I could give you guys more than 5 stars I would. By far the best bar I have ever been to and I can guarantee I'll be back as a regular. Well worth the price of an airfare from Canberra.

Fantastic place for dinner & drinks or just drinks. Upstairs is a trendy bar on one side matched by a classy restaurant on the other. Service is perfect - welcoming & friendly service with a smile. Food was 👌, highly recommend their steaks but the chicken was also amazing! See you again next city night stay

The busiest restaurant in Adelaide. Went there for dinner around 6pm on Friday. When we went there it was almost full. I think every evening it becomes crowded. Drinks and food are really good and prices are also reasonable. After placing an order, it will take a long time to get on the table. Approximately 30 minutes wait time. The staff is friendly and they do their best. The restaurant atmosphere is quite nice.

Excellent quality steak. Meals served very quickly. Steak to cook yourself is fun and the stone stayed sizzling hot the whole time

Had a quick dinner after a whole day meeting at the conference. It was nice to find a restaurant opening in the evening on Monday! The mushroom pizza was delicious. Staff is friendly. Lots of people were at the restaurant, as not many opens in the evening on Monday.

Called in here for a drink & drop a few coins in the pokies. Great atmosphere 19/01/2024: Went here for dinner on the Friday night. The cricket test had finished & the place was packed. A credit to all staff as the efficiency & ease of placing an order, receiving meals & bar orders was great. Great value for meals & they accommodated my M.I.L. who was in a wheelchair no problem 🙏🙏👍👍❤️

Ordered two stone steaks, which was great for the two of us. The first steak arrived and the hostess had the pepper grinder with her which was lovely. Unfortunately when my steak arrived and I requested the pepper grinder as well because we all know that a steak with a salt and pepper crust is better. Well Unfortunately after several attempts to attract her attention to obtain that all important pepper. It never arrived! Which kind of spoilt the whole thing for me...

The fries that was served is very salty so I ended returning it. Calamari is processed from scratch and not bought frozen, it was moist. Steak is alright but the mushroom ragu sauce tasted very light. Roast pork has very dry meat and salty skin but the kimchi sauce is delectable. Pork schnitzel has burnt egdes and tasted normal. Nice concept on the roasted garlic with the sourdough. Waitstaff Olivia is very accommodating and affable.

I came to Adelade thinking i was going to try all sorts of cullenary delights and the various restraunts it has. However after walking past this place for a quick lunch and pint, all my dinners for the next three days and the duratiom of my trip where here. Amazing food, great sizes, very helpful staff who made this dining experence great. Compliments to the chef for the great food and one of the beat steaks ive ever had.

We went on a Friday night at six. Earliest availability. We was in the city for a family break away. Mini holiday. I wouldn't say it was child friendly as my wife read on the site. But that was prob because of the day and time more then anything. If a early reservation was available. I believe it would have been much better. Loud and very busy. Never the less we enjoyed our meal even with a hyperactive 5 year old haha But all that aside the food was great,had the stone steak. Chicken snitzal. Kids pizza .Very nice indeed. Service was great and quick as well. Staff was friendly and helpful. I'd go back again any time

Omg just had the best lunch experience! Chic location, amazing food very good quality and well cooked, I loved the tuna ceviche and your bread!! Then we had the fish plate to cook on the stone..WOW!! I strongly recommend this place if you Are in Adelaide

First time coming here tonight with my partner and I must say it has an amazing atmosphere with very good service and top quality food. We sat atop the balcony restaurant, the view was awesome.

Very nice place to go out for a dinner with friends. Nice selection of local beers and food of surprisingly good quality. Can recommend the steakes on the hot stone.

Nice place for diner, food was nice, great customer service, place is a bit cramped and noisy. But overall, great for family/after-work gatherings.

Very busy restaurant (a little noisy at times) but with amazing scallops with wasabi aioli and wakame and two types of smoky bay oysters. The stone grill option is pretty cool as you can cook your steak to your liking. Also served with delicious sweet corn ribs and miso butter.

My partner and I went for dinner on New Years Eve on the Verandah (before the cricket) and it was incredible. The food was spectacular, the chocolate tart with peanut butter ice cream was a standout, a wonderful atmosphere and brilliant service by our waiter James. What a hospitality superstar he is. It was busy (as expected) but food came out timely and the staff had everything under control. A wonderful dinner out. Highly recommend.

Food and cocktails were delicious! Great location, great online booking service. Bit noisy, due to the large amount of people there. But besides that would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Adelaide like we were.

My husband and I had dinner in the Veranda Restaurant for my Birthday. We had a fantastic table by the window with views over North Terrace. The food was great and our server was fantastic. Christine obviously loves her job and was really attentive along with super friendly and a joy to have looking after us. It was a lovely dinner and would definitely recommend it.

Amazing food and great value. Every dish was hot and delicious. Service was excellent. Wine list exceeded expectations. Definitely recommend.

Great hotel in the Adelaide CBD just down from the railway station with very tasty meals, fast service and friendly staff, it can get busy but well worth a visit to have a meal when you're in the CBD, we'll certainly be back for another meal soon.

Top notch staff and food. All the way from bar man to waitress, all very polite and patient. Havent had a stonegrill in a while and the waitress patiently explained to me how it works. Highly recommended

My family of 12 celebrated my daughters 18th on Saturday night. What a beautiful place it was. The food and cocktails were superb but the service was beyond my expectations. Every single member of staff made us feel special. Although they were very busy and understaffed and therefore a long wait for a mains, it didn’t matter as we were very well looked after. I highly recommend dining here for any occasion. I cannot fault our dining experience. Thank you.

First time up in the Balcony Restaurant since its been renovated, group of 10, we all enjoyed our meals, the majority of us had the stone grill, been going there for a long time. Couldn't fault it

We booked the Verandah experience. The service didn’t seem the nicest. Favourite was the onion rings. The presentation, texture and flavour was amazing. It was served with an Aioli. Wasn’t very happy with the fried chicken kids meal as it looks pail and boiled. It wasn’t crunchy either. The chips with crunchy and golden though. The kids burger was also yum.

It was an interesting experience cooking on the stone grill. Chips were crunchy. Steak was a little bit chewy even if rare or fully cooked but was fine. Kids enjoyed it. Salad might need a bit more dressing. Decent sized serving.

Last dined at the Strathmore Hotel a few years ago and a friend suggested we revisit for dinner on Sunday of the June long weekend. So glad we did. Arrived and noticed the new interior renovations looked great. The staff were very accommodating and friendly. We decided to order the Beef & Reef stone grill while our friend ordered the schnitzel. All our meals were sensational. The rump steak was lovely and tender - melted in your mouth. Can't wait to return and would happily recommend to family and friends.

Excellent meals they were very nice couldn't fault them! Line up to order food was very long. Maybe another person to take food orders? Can not fault the meals though, compliments to the chefs last night! If you're looking for a great Chicken Schnitzel in Adelaide, this is a great spot! Awesome chips too!

Really wanted to try the King Brown Mushroom Pasta on a Saturday during lunch. Unfortunately the entire restaurant was closed due to a function. The entire restaurant! Weekend at lunchtime! Giving this place 3 stars because at least the people at the function seemed to be enjoying themselves.

I took friends there twice over two weeks Just says how much I enjoy the stone grilled steaks each time. And the wines too.
