With such a large menu I think they’ve bitten off more than they can chew. So so many of the items on the menu were unavailable - personally I had to go to my FIFTH option. Other members of our group also had to choose again (not even the same meals as me). Half our group received their meal and were finished before the second half received their food. Some items never turned up (we were refunded for these). The 2 people at the table next to us ordered just after us and still hadn’t received a single dish by the time we left. One person asked for a steak cooked medium - the photo is after it had already been taken back once to be recooked and yet still came back bloody. Don’t offer steaks if you can’t cook them. I specified allergies and my meal still included those allergens (even after having confirmed with staff that it was doable without). In a group of 8 only 2 people received the correct order with nothing missing or wrong. Not a good enough %. Staff were rude and service was slow. there were so many problems that should not have happened in the first place and made the experience unpleasant for the whole group.

It was my own fault for going for the nachos in a pancake-themed restaurant but they were the only bad thing. The pancakes are light and fluffy and the gluten free ones even taste good. Make sure you download the eatclub app as we got 20% off when we visited.

Great place tucked away in the alleys of Adelaide, very enjoyable food the smoked meats are very tasty and the desserts are delicious,, pancakes were a bit bland and bread like a little but the topping helped with that, great drink's, The place does get very noisy when full and sometimes I've had to wait a bit for my order when only 2 or 3 staffing the place but makes for more chatting, Great place for a feed at 3am ,it never closes

Table dirty. Floors sticky. Food overpriced and among the worst meals I've ever had. I ordered Cajun chicken for $20 but it was 98% potatoes and 2% chicken with an awful sauce that I had to wipe off each of my 2 tiny slices of chicken. Salad was old and slimy with no salad dressing. This is a photo of all the awful boiled potatoes on the plate after I ate two tiny slices of chicken. I left some of the slimy lettuce so kitchen staff could see what they served me. What a rip off.

Open 24hrs!!!! 😁🥞❤️🥞👍🥞🎉 We went here again recently and it was smaller then I remembered when I went 20yrs ago. But it was lovely. The atmosphere was cosy. Seating was limited, but we had booked ahead. 👍 There are probably only around 40 seats. Note: Book ahead for any group bookings. The staff were friendly and the food was great. 🥞 However, I was disappointed the savoury Bolognaise pancake wasn't available anymore. Please bring that back. The juke box in the second room was out of order. Disappointing but it was lovely to have that touch of nostalgia. Hopefully it does work next time. 🎶 Overall it is a great place to visit anytime of day or night. It's open 24hrs. 🥞 🎉 If you haven't been there you have to go. The food is definitely worth the $. 🥞🥞

Delicious pancakes 24/7. It use to be own by the same owner of Melbourne pancake kitchen and Surfers Paradise pancakes kitchen. They all still use the same recipe for the pancakes. Highly recommend the walnut pancakes and the Jamaican pancakes. Staff are friendly and ambiance is full of old fashion memorabilia makes it fill like a nice Irish pub. If you love pancakes this is the place to be.

Good steak but had to use bread n butter knife. I had eggs Benedict nice but only just warm Our dirty plates sat on table for 30mins Waited almost an hour for pancakes for dessert, they were cold. Left very disappointed as we had not been there for a while We won’t go back again now and we could have spent that $128 somewhere much more deserving

great spot for pancakes and it opens all day, their pancakes are fluffy and comes with generous serving, worth the price and definitely good place for sharing and family. Third visit: super packed but service was always great and the pancakes arrived perfectly.

Very disappointing sadly. I was here years ago and it was great; not anymore. We had wings for entrees, which were tasty (basting alone was all you need). For mains we had Cajun Chicken, which was a generous 2/5 - snall specks of chicken and 85% tiny spuds covered in the strongest hideous sauce you've tasted. Salad was very average and drowned in vinegar. The worst was the Hawaiian schnitzel - burnt and overcooked... and how is it possible to even make cheese taste bad? My beer tasted like maple syrup, served in a dirty glass. Honestly, one of the worst 3 meals I've eaten in the last 10 years - avoid at all costs.

Went in for brunch. The hash browns, sausages and waffles 🧇 are nice. The surrounding is a bit noisy as there were a large group of peeps have family time. This is everyone’s freedom but still noisy. The tableware 🍴tray on the tables are empty. In addition, I am not really a big fan of the ice cream in the ice coffee, too rich to go with the coffee. Would give a 3/5. But just learn that they open 24 hours everyday. I would give them an extra star.

Love this place and love the food choices - so many options! Yet to have a bad meal here. A casual and fun place to go.

The male Front of house is unfriendly and not easy to approach. We ate on September 09, 2022 around 22:17PM. The burger patty is raw and fries was reheated and not fresh. When we returned the fries it was very salted. We ended returning it to the nice female FOH. We takeaway buffalo wings that are burnt and overcooked so it was hard. However the African Banana pancake is really amazing and the pancakes are fluffy this time.

Food is usually always decent quality. Unfortunately the new owners have changed everything about the menu and you can now NOT order from the 'kids' menu which used to be called "for the young and young at heart", no idea why since you're still buying something. Only reason I'm giving 3 stars, takes the fun away.

Adelaide's original 24hr Pancake Kitchen. It's been years since I last visited. Seems to have had a little revamp. Nice cosy little tables throughout. I had the strawberry nutella crepes. Generous serve.

The waffles are the best (sorry I didn’t even try their pancakes)! My friend who is 73yos told me that she went to there when she was a teenager. It should be soooo good to operating for so many years. I am on a diet and tried to lose weight but these waffles are just tasty and no burden on my calories sheet.

It used to be funky but could do with some renewed decor in similar style. And some time back, don't know when, they dropped their signature pancakes... buckwheat pancakes... just when people need a gluten free option! Stupid move. And some healthier options than maple syrup need to be offered... fruit chutney or tomato relish or smoky sauce wouldn't go astray at all. And ratatouille type toppings would also work for vegetarians. Didn't see if a Blintz was still on the menu either.

This is the best 24 x 7 place to be in Adelaide when you're hungry and want some comfort food. The German feast is amazing, the coffee is good and when you're feeling that sweet tooth, try the Russian Blintz with ice cream. This was my go to place since the uni days and has never disappointed me. However, it is next to Hindley Street and gets a bit shady on weekend nights sometimes.

Went in late last night drunk with about 8 friends and I've never met a more patient hospitality worker. It was 2am we were all hammered and the guy was a legend, deserves a raise. Food was good too

Food was of good quality. Unsavoury guests present in the venue at 930am on a Thursday. Had to chase up staff for cutlery, food bought out without any syrup, had to ask for that. The bathrooms looked like they had never actually been cleaned. The were foul! Staff weren't rude, but not particularly present.

Had an okay experience. Ordered the farmers feast for breakfast and a coffee. The order total came to a little more than I was expecting, but I put this down to the weekend surcharge. Service was fine and the portion size was good for the price that you pay.

I have never seen such a dirty restaurant before. The dust on the lamps had probably not been wiped off since they were hung. The tables were dirty, the floor was sticky. The decor reminds me of pubs 40 years ago in Germany. Bathroom dirty, the waitress after using the toilet did not wash her hands with soap only water! Garbage cans full, bathroom floor dirty, empty bottles behind the toilet. Not to mention that this place definitely needs some paint, but most of all it needs a willingness and a good manager who will manage the lazy team. The waitresses although nice when placing the order, later were maximum „just ok“. Although our pancakes were tasty, it seems to me like they were not made from scratch, but used a ready-made product from a box.

Had a really good experience the other day. I was going to go for the ribs but because we had limited time I got the chicken ceased salad… and BOY WAS I SURPRISED. It was delicious, it was a generous serving and it was perfectly balanced as all things should be. My wife had an IT which I sampled and that was also great.

Ordered the brisket crepes and they were average. Chocolate banana crepe was slightly better. It is located in this tiny alley. Pancake was fluffy.

Good pancakes. Staff are polite but not friendly, you don’t feel welcome.

Adelaide icon. Was a great place to celebrate the Powers win and keep warm and out of the rain. ~300g of wings, iced chocolate and the banana split pancake were more than enough food and very tasty.

We went on Sunday morning for breakfast and waited for 15mins in a line before being told no tables are available come back in an hour. I asked if we could put our name down to reserve a seat and were told no by the young waiter so we left. We really wanted to try their pancakes and waffles so tried again on Monday and had better luck with a friendly lady who showed us to our seat. We ordered and the food was out in 10mins. Delicious pancakes and waffles. We just taken back by the bluntness of the young guy on the Sunday morning.

The waffle is VERY GOOD. The batter has a bit of salt and sweet at the same time. The sauce is also sweet. I also order like a platter, beef and mushroom sauce but the mushroom one was only like a plain sauce creamy mushroom sauce. I think u should put more butter on it. Banana split doesn't stand out but good. My friends also told me that they have a good beer. Overall, perfect place to hangout with your friends.
