My Birthday celebration was terrible, the food is foul and the pricing was ludicrous. They charged us for "ripped table cloth/paper table covering" which was $50 and we confronted them as we had nothing to do with the ripped table cloth/paper table. The staff were atrocious and did not know how to act in a professional manner which was actual sickening. They treated my family with no respect and they were unnecessarily rude. Overall an appalling experience, will not eat there again. Foods are not nice. No respect. Bad staff and service. Very questionable staff. Ripping people off. Actual sick to the stomach...

The food here was good, but the service was slow. Waited 45minutes for my meal and the people who ordered the same as me and 20 minutes later than me got the food before me.

Birthday celebration turned sour. We're being charge for ripped table cloth/ paper table covering. Very rude staffs. Would not recommend to family and friends. Will not eat there again, never again. Foods are not even nice. Very bad experience. No respect for the elderlies who dined in and had celebrated with the grandson. Disgusting and disrespectful staffs.

The restaurant recently had a makeover which is why I decided to come here again. Honestly was a bit disappointed, the food was much more bland than it used to be or tastes heavily of those premix spice packets you can get around. Some dishes were authentic and made nicely but overall most are bland regardless of its “authenticity”. I wouldn’t come here again for the price. The service and atmosphere improved but the food isn’t worth it.

If you want to end your dining experience sickened to your stomach and with a bad taste left in your mouth come to this restaurant! Would have given 0 stars, but had to put one to be able to write. We had our dinner celebration turn bad after this resto, tried to sneak in a paper charge fee of $50 over some ripped paper/plastic table covers....seriously. Then to make matters worst, have their staff/waiters start shouting and accusing us of " being bad parents". Truely bad customer service and certainly unprofessional behaviour on their part. We will not be back!! not a family friendly environment, and definitely check your bill for those hidden xtras.

Dinner before a show tonight. Sizzling BBQ beef, was melt in your mouth tender and scrumptious. The honey chicken, my son's fav was so light and delicate. The staff were lovely and yep, we will return. No photos of our food because we ate it before thinking of pics

Waited half hour to have first dish served. Food was bland. Ordered seven dishes and felt the need to kept checking with the waiter about the last dish while running late to a fringe show. Was first told that the kitchen was preparing our last dish, and then informed after another 20min of waiting that kitchen has made all our food. They then tried to charge us for 7 dishes. Not the worst restaurant but definitely better options out there.

The best YUM CHA in Adelaide in my opinion. I’ve gone to T-Chow on a few different occasions and it remains my favourite spot for Yum Cha to this day. The food is always consistently excellent every time we go and there is plenty of seating and quite a spacious restaurant if you wanted to bring the family. They rice wraps, green beans and salt and pepper squid are amazingly flavourful and are staples when I dine there. There hasn’t been a dish I’ve ordered that wasn’t at a high standard. They have an array of traditional Chinese foods that if you won’t like there you won’t like anywhere. So if you’re looking for some Yum Cha and haven’t tried here do yourself a favour and try it out!

Quite pricy for what we got - 4 dishes, that is, 2 veggie dishes 2 meat ones, a pot of rice for 3 ppl. total $113 including a LLB soft drink. flavour was just ok for three dishes except the gailan which was good (kale stirfry with garlic?) the rice was very dry lacking moist, not pleasant mouthfeel wise. The beef on a hotplate was Chinese style but it tasted a bit like plum sauce type of flavour which was sweet and sour - not to our liking as we prefer savoury dishes. Wouldnt revisit as the quality and serving size of the food is not worth this price. Plus, noisy enviornment - not good for a nice conversation. Service was great tho - big thumbs up to all the waitresses and waitors.

Fairly scrumdumdidilyumptious, the atmosphere is nice, as well as the menu choice. Satay chicken was good, green peppercorn chicken was slimey, not my preference but may be yours. Lazy susans. 👌

Walk past it regularly but finally gave it a try. Tried their yum cha menu during Sunday lunch time. Ordered satay tripe, prawn Cheung fun, squid tentacles, scallop dumplings, Chinese chive dumplings and chicken feet. Everything was well seasoned. Nice flavour with the chilli used. Tripe had good texture, not too chewy and did not have strong odour. Dumplings were nice in size and flavor. Service was very attentive at the time (Sunday afternoon). Food came out timely and steaming hot. Will come again and recommend others to try.

Food was amazing. They could only split the bill in half though (wouldn’t let one family pay for their portion and the other family pay for theirs, which seems pointless). Very backward not splitting bills.

Delicious and authentic Teochew food. One the best around China town area. Clay pot dishes are slightly smaller in size comparing to usual but I guess that means you get to try more dishes. Fair price, clean and great service.

Average at best. Table booked two weeks ago & got the kids table by the dirty dishes area. Service terrible. Could have spent a lot if we could have ordered drinks & wine more often. Soft drinks can plonked on the table with no glass or ice & beer warm. Most dishes were very plain. Moreton Bay bugs were tiny crunchy shells. Duck was ok. Fried rice dry & tasteless. Need more staff & work on the standard & quality of food to live up to the hype. Local Chinese takeaway far better. Cocktail eventually came & was 5/10. Think its overrated.

Amazing food. We’ve been twice in the one week. Yummiest braised beef hotpot and also the pork and scallion hotpot. Had a duck dish last time which was delicious, as are their thin egg noodles. Consistent food quality. Friendly staff and prompt service. Our family has a new favourite!

Service was quick and speedy, but there’s a reason this place was less than half full on a public holiday when the few other restaurants open all had queues of 15 minutes or more. The food here is really ordinary. We couldn’t tell the difference between prawn and scallop dumplings, both varieties seemingly made from smashed then re-compacted seafood, or more likely straight from freezer packs. Deep fried pork dumplings were oily and unpleasant. It’s not as though the decor improves anything either. The interior here is just plain drab. All things considered I understand why the place was 1/4 full when all around were managing queues - it’s just not very good.

Thought we give them another try after Reno but apart from the well improved atmosphere the rest is quite average!!! No service, had waiters keeps coming back confirming our order although it’s written in black n white, half way through service they advised a dish is not available and then later on more dishes no available, missing foods for more then 30 minutes and no one bother checking with us but more importantly, some dishes were tasteless and the highlight - aka, expensive price tag, such rip off!!!

Driest duck I have ever had. Came out in 6 minutes. So basically was cooked days ago and reheated. Never again

Yummy yum cha/dim sum. Prompt, polite service. Good food variety and fresh prawns. They also have a yum cha menu if you want a particular item.

Delicious Food and has amazing value for money! Ate with friends from Guangzhou in China and they rated these dishes highly in terms of authenticity! Highly recommended! If you want to see a video review of this restaurant and its food, feel free to check out my YouTube.

Wonderful service. Arrived after 9pm and they were still able to seat us. The food was delicious and a reasonable price.

I think this restaurant is being under-rated, those Chaozhou style dishes are quite authentic and staffs are very friendly and helpful.

😐 American styled joint. Thick shake was thick enough. Chocolate peanut butter tasted so good. The ice cream was just a normal ice cream with a fancy name. Burgers are small in general. Buns were soft. Lettuces have shrunk. Shroom patty is the best here. Beef patty a little dry. Onion rings were crisp...

😠 I don't normally give negative reviews unless a product or service continues to disappoint. It's happened here at Vili's too often now. After purchasing a Pie and Kitchener bun drove back to work, pie was ordinary yet when it came to the Kitchener bun that was the final straw. Stale beyond belief, w...
