Boy do I miss this place. Moved out of Whittier a year or so ago and have been craving their food for weeks now. My go to is the Submarine sandwich, Turkey ABC or pasta and have been in search of a good replacement ever since. While I have found decent pasta, I can’t seem to find a great sandwich with fresh baked bread and the cold cut blend of Lascari’s. Anyway, in town for an annual check up and had to see if they were open. My appt was early, so I called around 9:15 am and someone did pick up the phone. They took my order and asked when I wanted to pick it up to which I said right away. She nicely reminded me that they don’t open until 10am but would hook me up. So cool. I thoroughly enjoyed my sandwich and looking forward to finishing the other half later. You will see from the pictures that the sandwich is huge. Thanks for hooking an old friend up Lascari’s and see you soon!

I have been to many Italian restaurants and I must say Lascari's is very good. Their baked ziti is awesome. My all time favorite lunch from them is the Turkey ABC. Their hidden location and limited parking belies the delicious Italian food and service that awaits inside. We have been eating at Lascari's since we discovered the in Brea years ago. However, I have never had a bad meal there, and most of what they serve at least merits a 4 out 5 stars. They also have a great selection of gelato and their Tiramisu is as good as any I've ever had.

Lascari’s is our “go-to” spot for Italian Deli in Whittier. They’re seafood and pasta dishes are deliciously Italian. For lunch, the roast beef sandwich is a great choice! Ask for it to be heated with melted provolone cheese..and don’t forget the side of fresh macaroni salad. 👀 👅

Fantastic sandwich I enjoyed the triple decker and I must say it was just so good, I haven't enjoyed eating out much but somehow this met my expectations from the 80s when I worked at Whittier florist.

I'm commenting on my first experience and what I ordered. At 3:30pm I ordered lasagna for one of their $14 combo meals that includes a drink, delicious salad and roll. The lasagna was taste-test size, 2inches x 3inches x1-1/2inch deep, surrounded by 7" of sauce. A meatball was included since the lasagna slice occupied such a small space in the 7-8" foil serving bowl. I estimate that 6 of Lascari's lasagna servings would have filled the bowl. Add to that grief, the lasagna tasted like anyone makes or heats-up at home, average or slightly below. It was mostly pasta with very little meat. I can get a sausage-loaded heat-it-up entire tray of lasagna from Costco for $9 that would generously serve 4 guests. It's possible that ordering other items on their menu might go better, but I won't know because I won't be going back after this first-timer's experience. $14 + tax for such a small portion is beyond ridiculous.

Eddie T is the man, he took care of us and made us feel special. The food was excellent and worth the cost. The shrimp Alfredo was phenomenal, the wagyu pizza was fantastic and the drinks were fun and strong. We ordered lasagna and it took a bit long to come out, so they comped us a free dessert. We're out here on vacation from AZ, but if we come back we'll definitely come here again.

I have been going here forever with my family! They are also my personal favorite catering service! I know a party's going to be good when they have Lascari's there! I love dinning in and experiencing the whole place, but even when I can't, the food does all the magic! Great service, great food, great location, what more can you ask from an Italian restaurant!

Excellent Italian deli. If your in Whittier you have to eat here. Their subs are fully loaded and pulled high. Their pastas are flavorful, rich, and tasty. And their desert selection is traditional Italian and huge. Definitely a must go-to!

Amazing Italian delicatessen! Excellent service and delicious plates! The chicken pesto pizza is my personal fave! Busy but delightful! I'd prefer a wider selection of authentic Italian beverages! With multiple locations to choose from, you are definitely in for a treat!

Lescari's has some excellent food. It's an amazing deli, and partially kind of a restaurant but without the table service. I come here mostly for some of healthier dinner options, like sandwiches and salads, which are not easy to find in this area. Wait times can be a little long and my first impression of this place wasn't great, but now I find myself coming back again and again. It is a great place to grab some dinner on the way home. While I'm not someone who gets excited over pizza or pasta, I recently tried their veggie pizza and it was amazing.

First time at this place. Very nice spot and clean, I ordered fettuccine alfredo with chicken, mushrooms and green peas. Didn't taste good at all and the sauce was watery and bland. I will give this place 1 more try and order something else. I will have much less expectation. Plus a younger girl had attitude when serving us for some reason.

The older lady that works the register is kind of condescending when she speaks to you and the food is way too expensive for what it is. Not a lot of flavor and tastes like something you could make from home for a fraction of the price. Probably never going back.

We got the jumbo shrimp linguini in cream sauce, lasagna with Italian sausage and meatball sub. Everything was delicious. The entrees came with soup or salad and bread. We got the turkey sausage soup and I started figuring out how I can make it. I need more! It was so satisfying. This is counter service but, even so, the staff was great. It's also an Italian deli and it was fun looking at the different meats and cheeses and pantry items. The seating area was pretty shabby but comfortable enough. It's definitely not a "nice" restaurant but the music was great! We will absolutely be going back.

Food is great, but service is very bad. Went to place an order and waited 30 minutes for 3 sandwiches and a salad. Usually not a problem but they completed a bigger order that came in after our order first. Went up to ask where our food was and it was sitting in the fridge for 15 minutes which made our hot subs kind of cold and lukewarm. They never called our name for our order. Kind of put a damper on our experience but the lady whom took our order was very nice and patient.

I've come here a couple times, and I get a little overwhelmed with their selection of food. They have plenty of choices to choose from, the deli, and restaurant. Food is good. A little pricey in my opinion, but than again, what food isn't. Parking can be a little tight, but free..it's located in a little shopping strip area..food options are plentiful. Staff is friendly and patient. Place is clean. Seating is limited due to deli, and store. Overall it's a nice neighborhood deli/restaurant.

Used to have their capicola which is amazing had their corned beef they have small size or large size no difference to me except the price they said the large has more meat wasn't worth it the small was the same size and maybe a micro Less meat than the large also it didn't come with cheese sauerkraut or Thousand Island you have to ask for it

If you're looking for delicious Italian food in a cozy and welcoming atmosphere, Lascari's is the perfect spot. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with warm smiles and friendly service. Now, on to the food - and trust me, it does not disappoint. The menu at Lascari's is extensive, with a wide range of classic Italian dishes as well as some unique and creative options. The ingredients are fresh and high-quality, and the dishes are prepared with care and attention to detail. The portions at Lascari's are generous, so you definitely won't leave hungry. And the prices are very reasonable for the quality and quantity of food you receive. It's the perfect spot for a date night or a family dinner - there's something for everyone on the menu. Overall, I would highly recommend Lascari's Italian to anyone in the Whittier area looking for delicious and authentic Italian cuisine. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, the service is friendly and attentive, and the food is simply delicious.

Lascari's Italian is one of my favorite restaurants to visit in Whittier. They make some of the best Italian food I've ever had, and their service is always warm and quick. Meals prepared to go are properly stored so that even after a 30-minute drive back home, they are still nice and hot. And if you are looking to eat there the atmosphere is comfortable and relaxing.

They have great sandwiches and their pizzas are pretty good. I haven't tried their pastas yet but I will try them next time when I go. This place is very good.

This was our first time here and is going to be our favorite place to have lunch/dinner now on. Why? Because we love Italian food and this is the place where you enjoy authentic Italian food and it is delicious. Service was excellent, and Cecilio made sure everything was great on every table. The minute you come in, you feel this positive energy and atmosphere. It is a restaurant, deli and mini store. Ciao 😉

The BEST STEAK SANDWICH !!! Comes on the French roll with the sauteed mushrooms and light on the onions and it is to die for! I go there just for the sandwich! The environment is cozy to eat in lots of things in the deli section you want to buy and take home they have gelato and everyone is so friendly it's really like a mom and pop place!! You don't want to miss this one 👍👍👍👍👍

This is a cute little deli on Lambert. I ordered the penn pasta with chicken. The pasta has plenty of sauce but the chicken pieces were chopped very tiny and very hard to find. The portion size was plenty to share but the total price for a salad and drink cost $21 bucks. The Turkey sandwich was cheaper and came with a small bowl of pasta. There’s music playing to enjoy while we sat and ate. I didn’t care much for being asked for a tip when paying at the counter; however the gentleman cleaning the tables, bringing food to customers and running around attending to customers at the tables was great….. he deserves tips!!!
