Got here at 3:30am due to other reviews. Nobody was here until 4:30am. Small female Rock crab was only $5lb, Bluefin $20lb, Halibut $15lb. Selection was great, staff was great even though some of the other customers can be a bit much. Definitely will be back. Went back today around 6:45am Sunday morning. Only 3 stalls open. They were pretty much cleaned out. Still picked up some nice black cod, sea trout and some nice size male crabs (all females were gone except for the smallest). Great service as always.

First time ever in all my visits to Newport Beach had I entered Dory Fishing and Fleet. Great experience if you love seafood, freshly caught and prepared for the customers and the prices are reasonable. You have to come early to get the best selection, I only entered as never seen inside before. I was told a few tales of the fishermen and what they go through to get all that lovely fresh seafood. You find a great selection and will have a great experience, highly recommend. Thanks

A bit cold but very fun experience It's full of fresh fish and good memories, but sales are too small Even if you arrive at 5/30 in the morning, you will still be late. Arrive on 4/30 in the morning of July 29 Spot King prawns and sea snails Uni... I can't buy more than 4 pounds because of the quantity, but the size of the live spot prawns relieves fatigue. Today's price is $38/lb. Sea urchin (uni) $80 for 10 pieces The price is expensive, but the joy of eating fresh food Shrimp prices are particularly expensive, so I don't go often... I remembered the taste of raw shrimp, so I bought it today at 4/30 in the morning. Although expensive, the taste is really good.γ…‹γ…‹γ…‹~ Please make the price of the product cheaper If it's too expensive, customers may leave.

Great seafood at great prices. It is a bit of a drive to get here but so worth it. Remember to bring CASH. Right side is the line for shrimp and left is for crab. Free parking in the early mornings. Make sure you get there early for the best selection. Also check "Crabby Steve's" Twitter for an update on selections Friday night. He will let you know if there will be rock crab, shrimp, sea urchin, and fish available.

Be warned, they sell out fast. I would arrive 5-5:30 am if you want crabs/ a specific kind of fish. They have a lovely selection of fish and are located in the heart of Newport Beach. I love coming here in the early mornings to see the catch of the day / my dinner later. They have seasonal shrimp and crabs as well.

Got up very early one morning to come here and still ended up deep back in the line. We were able to get some (very delicious) fresh fish that was still available, but definitely recommend getting there as early as you can muster, as the line fills up very early!

I went there the day before yesterday. There is many people having some lines there. The crab is so cheap and fresh. Also the shrimp, and tuna fish. Love there.

2 lines are formed: left side for the stone crab and right side for lobster and shrimp. Once you pass these stations, both lines can access the rest of the seafood. Made the mistake of waiting in the right line for King Crab when I could have bypassed the people waiting for shrimp/lobster. Lady working the shrimp station said next time, if you're not buying shrimp/lobster, just walk around those people.

First time here and I just love to see the fresh fish, crabs, and lobsters for sale. Came here about 6:30 AM and there was a long line for crabs and lobsters. I was thinking about buying me some but with lobsters 25$/lb, I think I will pass for today. The seafood here seems to be super fresh. People were fighting over fish and fish mongers were gutting and cleaning fish on site, just love to see that. This spot is a great place to visit if you are a tourist. If you are planning to buy fish then you better come here early with your cash or else good luck.

This would a great spot for visitors, right next to the pier and there is a farmers market on Sunday right beside it. A long line for more than an hour when the shrimps are there, but much shorter when it's just the crabs. Also, the lines for shrimp is different from others, so if you just want fish or crabs, just get inside the market.

What fun! I took the kids there years ago at 530am. Great to see the small boats come flying up onto the sand so we could buy fresh fish. So glad to see people still go. Can't wait to go again.

Here you can buy the freshest coral prawns, crabs and fish, and the prices are relatively cheap, but you need to queue up early in the morning, and they will be sold out after you go.

We stumbled across this historical fisherman marketplace at 5:30 AM. The place was bustling with local restaurant owners and chef’s.
