I ordered a Raspberry and Custard McFlurry and got a McDisappointment. They have run out of the custard bits. They could have given me an option to change to Cookies and Cream, and I would have been happy; instead I saw the disappointment get built. After pumping the soft serve out of the machine, my McFlurry has travelled across the kitchen, got parked in the fridge, then back in the kitchen to be topped by a hot pie. Soft Serve turned soup. I hate the idea of wasting food, so I took it and am now posting a review about it.

I only go here if i must. Staff always ignore you, even when you're clearly trying to get their attention. It's always dirty. Symptoms of severe understaffing for sure, food is still up to spec for MacD's. But their coffee is at best 3 stars.

I recently had an extremely disappointing experience at McDonald's. Despite placing my order through the self-ordering kiosk, my McChicken was missing a tomato slice. After alerting the staff, the issue persisted through multiple attempts to correct it, with my order even being mixed up at one point. The lack of apologies and the inconvenience added to my frustration. Additionally, discovering the customer-only toilet was locked, requiring staff assistance, further diminished my overall satisfaction with the visit.

We spent $39, I asked to dine in and one of staff packed them all in one paper bag. I had to unpacked them all out, to find out the burgers weren't dressed properly, most of the sauce was in the box not on the burgers. The place was filthy. I will never go there again.

Not the friendliest or definitely not the cleanest Maccas and when you get your 2 meals both large, well the picture tells it,,, not a maccas ya feel safe or comfortable in

No matter what time you go they are always too slow to deliver the orders which at times is totally understandable but what is not understood is the way the staff treat customers they are rude and unfriendly and many times they hide in the kitchen and do not serve customers. I do not recommend going to this Maccas knowing that there are others relatively close and with better service.

I generally get coffee from this place. I like customising my coffee such as shots and extra hot. They do it for me without hassle. Service is fast, too, given the location and busyness of the place. Satisfied in comparison to other Mc Donald's.

Some idiot out of uniform who was supposedly the owner asked me to leave for not buying anything. It was his condescending manner I didn't like. As if I'm going to eat their unhealthy food. Just wanted somewhere to sit and listen to Lana Del Ray for a bit. Five stars to her latest album, one star to this self-important idiot. Lol

i understand this is a very busy store but this is unsanitary and a food safety concern. i didn’t see one staff do a regular dining room check

---Large Strawberry Sundae--- I took these photos as soon as I got the sundae, without giving it a chance to melt or be eaten. Although I questioned the portion and quality of this dessert, the clerk insisted that it was a complete and freshly made large strawberry sundae😂 Well, although I can get "more complete" ones from other McDonalds, but in any case, from a cost-saving perspective, his loyalty to McDonald's Corporation deserves praise.

Bad service, took an hour just to get a coffee and I was the only one there in LINE!!! I will just make my own coffee from now on.

It's an alright McDonald's store. The staff are usually good. However the big downfall for this place is it's not designed to handle the influx of people it gets on friday and Saturday nights where you would usually be waiting around 15-30minutes for small orders.

Just your simple Macca's, Went there at night and it was pretty busy with alot of younger staff at the helm. Drop in to get a soft serve

I ordered 2 hamburgers like half an hour ago and they were just a meat Pattie in two dry buns.... I also ordered a quarter pounder that was just meat and sauce, no onions, no pickles nothing just meat Pattie and ketchup. Whoever the teenagers working in the back are they need to fire them and hire people capable of making the simple burgers being ordered.

people seemed nice but the food was absolutely disgusting. never had worse fries in my life and they were cold. only thing hot was hashbrowns and the wait for the nuggets was ridiculous as my order was small. ordered a frape it was made and sat on counter for 10 minutes before i had to ask about my order they just handed it to me and walked off. nuggets were dry and hard. not edible. my friend threw up after eating the fries.

Everytime I get a toastie it's barely luke warm with unmelted cheese. It seems Hindley Maccas are incapable of toasting a sandwich. Ill go a couple months without one and give them a try hoping theyve changed but NOPE, every single time. Pathetic

Sometimes good. Sometimes bad. The place is overrun with staff under the age of 16. Some management would be nice to manage them and deliver some decent food.

If I could give this a 0 I would. Waited over an hour for it to come via Uber eats and it was only a 4 minute drive away as it took this long to be ready. When the food came the burger was squished and meat over cooked. Burger and chips stone cold and chips were also undercooked. Completely uneditable no idea why it took an hour to be given food that had been sitting there for so long. Also no straws, no napkins and bread was stale.

McDonalds in Hindley Street is open 24 x 7 and so pick up a take away anytime

Well, I don't really know what to say. I came here on a busy Saturday night with my 3 year old son. The place was trashed, there were junkies sleeping next to me, and heroin needles in my sons burger. Eventually, the place got so busy that, they got my son to work. Unfortunately, he has suffered 7th degree burns from the burning hot oil. To ruin my experience further more, there was an obese stripper who tried to get with my son. I believe she was a secret agent working for McDonalds, imported from the USSR. So overall, in conclusion, to summarise, concluding, I recommend that you do not enter this stinky enterprise.

Came here for breakfast on Christmas Day as only cafe open but had to make this review as this Mcdonalds must be the most organised and efficient one I’ve been into, in Australia. The crew behind the counter got the orders through fast and correctly. They were brilliant!

Yes please!!! The whole crew was amazing, team work and communication on full display. If you go cash-less (2mins), be polite (1min) and you will be rewarded with an authentic McDonalds experience, Warm food and cold drink (3min). Great if on a corporate schedule or on the run. 1:17pm til 1:23pm 22/11/22, you know who you all are. I'm lovin' it...mmm

Always busy and full of customers but you will receive your order soon after you order anyways. The staff are nice, but the tables are always messy due to how busy they are

I understand that space is limited in a busy city center, but I believe that asking customers to show their receipt before using the restroom is not a professional policy. It can be embarrassing for customers who are not buying anything, and it can also discourage people from visiting your restaurant in the future.

Nice clean McDonald's on the corner of Hindley and Bank St. I used my app to order but you can use the self service screens. There's a McCafe in-store. Not much seating and you need to ask staff to gain access to the public toilet. More suited to fast foot traffic pick-up or quick sit down. If you want to go more leisurely, I would suggest the McDonald's in the Myer Centre Food Court. Please consider that both stores can be noisy at peak times. Back to the Hindley Street store Everything was fresh and served quickly. Handy when you only have an hour to grab lunch. The muffin I ordered was still defrosting. I swapped for another flavour. A deliciously satisfying choice. It's good fast food at moderate cost. I highly recommend using their app to get rewards and discounts. That saves a packet.

I got left standing at the counter for a good 4mins by the manager who was fixing something. But had to go behind to kitchen to ask his staff to serve me .. poor management

Random woman harassed me for money, staff could see It but didn't do anything. When I went to the counter to ask for security the cleaner threw out my uneaten food still in the box unopened left at the table. Couldn't assisted me with being harassed but was happy to waste my time food and money

Today I ordered food with my 4 year old. I rarely complain about an order. Today was an exception.bxThe McChicken I received had no mayonnaise. I was so nervous about asking for them to add some at the counter. When the guy told me he would add mayonnaise, he sounded so polite. I sat down to see a crazy amount of mayonnaise. It soaked the entire burger. I just don't understand why they did that. I ended up having to scrape off 80% of the mayonnaise. It went from no sauce to an angry amount. I asked so nicely 😞

I was here in the morning to grab a coffee. For a busy Franchise with a varying clientele, the premises was clean & tidy. The sales person was friendly & helpful 😀

Bit of confusion between app messages and the store. Ap. Said order had been picked 8 minutes before the order was ready. At least the food was freshly prepared.

2 stars. I waited ages for only two frozen drinks while the workers tood around talking and making people free coffee. Will not be going back. Is it that hard to make two frozens?

Good location, it's great that it's open 24×7. Staff is friendly. Service is fast. Not enough seating space though.

Down side was the public restrooms were disgusting toilets not flushed and feaces on all toilets would recommend cleaning a bit more often other wise would have give 5 stars

All McDonalds stores have a great variety of food and beverages. Their prices are very affordable, and their burgers are first to none. The Staff are extremely friendly and courteous. Their burgers and fries are extremely tasty and are a lot better than Hungry Jacks burgers.

It's McDonald's so you get what you expect. Doesn't seem to have a mask mandate as several customers were maskless.

1st Aug 10:20-10:45, I’m waiting 25mins for one McMuffin and hash brown, with just two customers. The only number front of mine is ordered soft serve. Gave me the food without any smiling, terrible service, no doubt!

Food was great but the service was honestly terrible. The manager had a sour look on his face and wouldn't speak to anyone regarding an incident that had occured. Multiple staff acknowledged a spill but ignored requests to clean or even put up a wet floor sign until we had left. Plain disappointed at the attitude and way they treat customers. I just hope this was a once off experience and not an ongoing customer experience.

Great service and food actually was presented much better than Woodville, which was where I previously went.

One of the worst coffee I have had so far. I think that staff needs to be trained more on how to make coffee. It was burning hot, so I burned my mouth. The tables were also dirty from previous visitors.

One of the best burger in town, satisfy your cravings and super quick fix. Just do not eat too much of it. Amazing staff, super friendly, easy and convinient. Everything is superb, Love the Big Mac, fillet o fish, mc chicken. Must get the sundae cone, and apple pie. Either dine in or drive tru. Make sure you download the app, as there are plenty promotions all year round. The best promotions are during November month, that you can get a dollar for a big mac! Suggestion, give people the option to pay $2 for unlimited soft drinks refill :D ;) great for special occasions.

Got a Double Fillet O Fish from this place. Tasted good. From memory it was about 9 dollars

Not a great coffee today large flat white too hot and too strong. Not sure what happened usually good. Easy park nice Macca all round. Will be giving it a miss for a while.

Systems are down. Understandable but they won't give me tap water as I'm dehydrating and I offdered to pay $50. Very poor service and horrible workers.

Usually good but my extra hot was not even lukewarm. Lucky I was on my way back to work so could heat it up in the microwave.

Chips were old and soggy. Beef burgers were lukewarm and dry. Fillet'O fish was lukewarm, dried out, and disgusting. Restaurant was fairly untidy. Staff were friendly enough. Overall this was the worst McD's experence that I have had I long time.

Fantastic, filthy but its on hidnley steet so its understandable. Food is always fresh, the staff need a break from the drunk/on drugs loonies. 9/10 would eat again

Very busy and crowded at the self service screens, staff were very busy and one or two of them were so stressed and lost looking no one seemed to want to serve the counter Making ordering slowly and they still got my order wrong. By the time I realised the order was missing items & the burger incomplete, I had to accept the fact that Macca's ended up with more of my money for loud, bad, short service yet again after the last few times at another location. Not up to standard for the long established food and beverage multinational company who seems to accept less than basic focus on us the customer who spend large amounts of money being loyal to the brand that is much less, way more expensive than the principle it is supposed to run by.

Ordered a frappe from here and waited half an hour in which the girl behind the counter stood around giving everyone dirty looks and slouching around leaving all the work to the other worker out the front. She had terrible customer service skills and made every task look impossible. After finally asking for my frappe in a barely crowded atmosphere she was rude and slouched over to make it. After receiving my frappe she gave off the dirtiest look after I said thank you even though she clearly didn’t deserve it. This place needs to replace her as she is rude, in denial and lazy. From this I will never come back which I am not the only one who experienced this behaviour from a young worker with no manners to work

Ordered a quarter pounder and paid for extra sauce and pickles. Ended up with less of both than an ordinary burger. Dry as an old shoe. Took it back and waited 15 mins to get someone's attention. I got the same burger back, cold with nothing 'visibly' added. Similar experience the next time. Very stingy and unhelpful. Won't be going back

i would rate it 0 stars if i could, the service was horrible. being a current maccas i understand that it can be difficult but the amount of customer service the staff didn’t have was unacceptable. they couldn’t be “that busy” when they don’t even have a drive thru. skipping orders because they ran out of product and giving additude when asked where the order was is absolutely unacceptable. do better hindley street maccas.
