The staff are quiet rude. Speaker system crackling because the staff have turned it up way to loud can tell the staff don’t care! Needs new employment before it gets totally fun into the ground. It has potential but can tell staff are working because they have to and not because they want to work. There needs a miss of nationality’s not just or Nepalese or Indians

I would give them a ZERO! No wonder its called a cheeseburger. The "patty".... if i can call it that... was thinner than a slice of cheese! Cant believe ppl pass this s#!* as food! I'd get a decent burger from the local burger joints which taste way better! Dropping your standards so low is unbelievable!

This Macca has its own dictionary. ‘extra’ means nothing to them. This is the third time. They have defrauded $10.5 from me.

My first google review, because of my worse experience ever since my life! I went there as a UberEats delivery person while I was hungry, so I also ordered a McChicken for myself. It was around 23:00, 29/11/2022. When I was to pickup both, the female manager on duty at that moment, with an overwhelmingly rude attitude told me it is prohibited to have my own order and delivery order handed simultaneously, which I actually did several times before at the same restaurant. Then she ORDERED me to cancel my delivery order rather than my own food order and emphasized she wouldn't give me the UberEats delivery order that I had waited for over 10 mins. She also refused to show any related policy in written on my request and when I asked her name to make a complaint to McDonald's she hurled her refusal like "you don't need to know my name, tell them the time they will know who I am!" Ok this is why I'm writing this review and clearly point out when all this happened. That's not all yet. Because the rediculous policy comes from nowhere couldn't convince me, I surely refused to cancel my order and I contacted UberDriver customer service immediately. Need to mention, a driver cannot contact CS by phone call while they have live orders, so I could only reach them by in-app texting, which reduced communication efficiency. In the meantime, that anonym manager was able to make a phone call directly to UberEats staff and splashed out anything she wanted to tell them and cancelled my delivery order. Almost the same time when I noticed my order had disappeared, my CS told me that the email team would support me better and closed the case immediately without waiting even a sec for my response, and the email team never showed up later. She was wasting my time and I believe she was discriminating because after work that day, I went to other McDonald's just asking them if they have such a policy, none of their managers said a yes. They all showed high friendliness and inclusiveness to delivery person. It is worthy a specific praise on McDonald's Hindly St, its manager was willing to listen to me for a couple mins while there were thousands of customers and super busy. All in all, if you go to this restaurant and see a FEMALE MANAGER on duty, don't expect anything good. But if it is a tall male manager there, he is super nice.

The staff said this is the normal serving size for garden salad. Their attitude very bad.

During our visit today we were confronted with the spectacle of some of the most poorly trained staff we have ever witnessed. It was like everyone except the manager was on their trial shift. At least two of the staff couldn't speak or understand English properly and it took 10-15 minutes from first ordering to receive an order of a bottle of water, a cup of soft drink and a single muffin. The management needs to sort this shambles out quickly.

Well, the dine in options are great. Also, the coffee is something that always makes me happy. Not to be ignored, being a public holiday it was quite busy and drive through was almost full. Nice Service!

Duty manager flirting with a staff member clocked off at the counter , keeping me and my partner waiting for food . They were extremely rude and did not interact besides basic ordering . The food was cooked very roughly and took a little bit of time to receive. They then didn't cut our sandwich, and when asked to help they gave us a wooden knife that tore the sandwich , The store was not busy at all . Very disappointed never going to this location again

Firstly I'd like to say this was the WORST customer service and abuse I have received from the store. I went through the drive thru to provide my code, unfortunately they had a technical issue and couldn't have it working on their system. At by that time the manager had come over to help the young guy, when the manager got there, she was rude and abusive and told me to move my way out of the drive through because I was holding the other cars up. She didn't apologize for their system being faulty and asking me to park up politely and come in to see them, instead put the blame on me with absolute disgusting tone of voice and behaviour. I was able to purchase it via the app, I showed them and their system couldn't pick it up so how was that my fault. Disgusting, revolting behaviour from management. No body shouldn't be treated this way whatsoever, I'm never buying from this store again. I hope every sees this and I am sure there are plenty more stories like mine from this store!

As much as I want to rate this place highly there have just been so many times I've left disappointed... in the past half a year alone I can probably count 30 or so times we've been given a meal with missing parts... I'm not too sure if any of them really know how to make coffee, either, at least compared to the others along Hindley/Rundle St... not nearly enough espresso compared to milk, and on the 10 occasions I've ordered an iced mocha they either put WAY TOO MUCH chocolate syrup (enough to make me gag multiple times) or not enough (may as well be an iced latte). Also, not sure if this is just a time-of-day thing, but when I normally drive through (around 3-6pm) basically every staff seems like they don't really care about what they're doing, messing up orders that are shouted at them through the window (how?) and giving off 14-year-old-like attitude at the counter. FIX THAT MICROPHONE! I can count on one hand the amount of times I've gone through and had my order heard properly. And it's not like I'm ordering a million things, just an iced latte and fries/nuggets! I will give them a few things though: the dine-in experience is quite good, nuggets and chips are regularly on point and hot drinks aren't too bad. Three stars for now, but this is less of a "I hate this place" and more of "if they change up a few things I'll love it", those being a better set of microphones at the drive thru, some more enthusiastic staff, a slightly better iced drink manual (please, I beg, regulate the quantity of chocolate syrup going into those drinks) and perhaps a more regularly working frappe machine? Thanks

Bad attitude for a staff need to understand more about a service mind. A female manager should be more professional when handling issue with customers (no need to shout or yell back to customers who making a point about a staff 's attitude). A male manager was brilliant for trying resolve an issue. 25/03/2022 Time of this issue with customers about 9.00 am

Admittedly I was last there on Monday morning, but also on Saturday night Sunday morning. My first thing I did was order some drinks. Then I had a coffee which was unfortunately not there best. I also ordered a double big Mac extra cheese. Sadly the big Mac was almost cold on the inside, the cheese wasn't melted slightly, for too many pickles & chunkier lettuce than usual. So overall spent a bit of money on a product that was far from what they describe. I actually felt I had been ripped off .Due to poor layering & obviously not being cooked to the right temp/ time that is actually McDonald's standard. Cosch the kids in how to always aim to make the best even during very busy times. Drive thru should not dominate staff & leave customers at the counter waiting longer than expected.

The food is McDonald's, so... you know what quality to expect. I come through for morning coffee, or occasionally to grab lunch. I feel really sorry for the staff. They always seem understaffed, and more than a few times drive through workers have apologised for the wait and explained they don't have many people on. People trash the inside of the store and there's usually rubbish left everywhere and leftover food spilled/dumped on tables or the floor. When possible, I usually go to the Hindley St McDonald's because it's a lot cleaner and a nicer atmosphere.

Absolutely stunning place, convenient location, great architecture and phenomenal interior design, has ordering machines on both entrances which enables customers that are drooling for a bite of those juicy and succulent burgers to get their food in a jiffy. Fries are of perfect length and width, with just the right amount of potato starch stuffed with immaculate dexterity by only the finest chefs. Overall, theres only one word for this manifestation of nirvana, perfect.

Don't bother with the drive thru, or this store! Hungry jacks is 200m down the road with better service, and is actually open 24/7. The drinks are always spilled down the side of the cup, making a sticky mess. The drive thru has a nasty pothole that would make south road proud. The store is also open 24/7... Unless you make some poor choices involving a broken washing machine, a frantic trip to the laundromat, and happen to find yourself in the drive thru between 4 and 5am. Not a single hint that they weren't taking orders, so you'll be sitting there like potato until you realise that hungry jack's is actually open, and cheaper. The only thing stopping this from being a 1-star review is that when the drive thru WAS open, my orders have always been correct.

Wanted to take the time to shout out Aman (working 4am on Tuesday morning) for his amazing service, he has a great manner with a friendly attitude! He understands what the customer wants and took the time to make sure our food was fresh! Deserves a raise the absolute legend! :) Keep it up brother

I ordered a hotcakes meal. It came with pancakes only. No butter, no maple syrup or cutlery and the hash brown was missing. I also ordered a cappucino with almond milk, instead it came with full cream milk. I cannot tolerate full cream milk. Also missing was an apple pie. I rang West Terrace and was told there is no manager available until monday and that this can happen when ordering on the APP. I had to ring head office to get a refund which will take 7 days.

Pretty rude staff today, every one in the counter is busy for work, I am a food deliver, I am waiting close the counter for 5 minutes the green and brown Asian hair lady didn’t answer me, and she did her work pretty slow, bad attitude to her teammates and customers, before I pick up the food, I found the reason is close to 6:00 pm, she will ring out. After she finish her work, there is the staff meal I think, a crazy thing is she crash a queue by customers, why have this rude staff, I can understand it was busy but everyone is hardworking not her.

As far as maccas goes it’s pretty good here. Girls at counter very good today, 8:10 pm. Wonderful service only thing is the place lacks a playground…but this place was actually clean which is a rarity for a maccas.

Hardly ever have Macca's, especially since the couple of times I've had it at TTP & Golden Grove have been terrible. Just thought this was how Macca's was these days. Went to west tce & it was best ever. Chocolate thickshake very chocolatey, fries hot & fresh & burger really nice.

One of the staff at the front counter (assume she's the team leader) and the lady at maccafe was extremely rude!!!! Understand that they were busy when we were there BUT that does not give them the right or excuse to be rude to us!!! No one should have been spoken to, the way we did. If you want your customers to treat you with respect then pls treat them with respect!! Our order was also wrong as well!!! Extremely disappointing and annoyed!!!!!!

First bad experience Ive ever had with McDonald's (McDonald's is McDonald's, expectations set accordingly). Ordered a crispy chicken deluxe, got a grilled chicken - sure, whatever, it happens. The fillets were completely burnt - to the point where I couldn't figure out what meat I was actually eating. Easily the worst burger Ive ever had.

The sign says 24 hours but I couldn't place an order for a cup of coffee, as there was a 'reset' happening, and I would have to wait for 10 minutes to order. . What the hell is a 'reset'? Why have a huge sign stating 24 hours? And how is this considered as 'fast food' dining?... Next time I'll just go to the OTR close by... They don't make the best coffee, but at least they don't have a 'reset' and are happy to serve you at any time as they are too a 24hour buisness.... I've decided to 'reset' as well....bye bye MacDonald's.

Clean and bright, this was a nice place to stop for breakfast. Staff were quick. You can watch the busy intersection while eating. The entry for pedestrians from the street is locked (doesn’t look it from the street) and you have to walk around to the opposite side of the building, over the drive-thru exit and through the car park to enter.

Other reviews are right about the rudeness of the staff. They shut the windows at the drive through without saying anything… what upset us the most was that they forgot to give us what we ordered… we paid everything in the app and what they had to do is read the order list and put the items in the bag… it’s unlikely that we’ll return to this branch.

  • 5/5 Natasha A. 9 months ago on Google
I don’t know who is working in that joint today, but that team was so fast that they literally had the food at the window by the time I was finished speaking the order. They 100% deserve these five stars, and they got the order right 😁

Wanted to let my 3 year old grandson play while we both ate. This place didn't have a playground. So we left. Otherwise it looked OK. I also don't understand the parking. There are signs everywhere saying get a ticket. Didn't see where to get one, and I definitely would not pay for one either.

Ray Kroc would be frothing thickshakes over this drive thru. The speedee system was on point. No delays here. Food delivered hot fresh and the sauce to cheese burger ratio 👌💯. Maccas West Terrace nailed it. I’d recommend this Maccas for all your hot chip and soft serve desires.

The best Mac Donald’s in the west! Playground is super high but super safe and fully enclosed making it a perfect play spot! The maccas salads have actually come such a long way. Crazy to think we can go to maccas and get a damn good salad these days but hey! Times change!

For me this McDonald's is the reason I won't be buying coffee from McDonald's anymore and I'm beyond caring about my reward points because I only ever used them for coffee, so I can only ever imagine going to a McDonald's for dessert because I don't eat the meals either. The coffee tastes like they don't clean their coffee machine and the steaming wand is watering down the coffee. I'm always disappointed with the coffee here. I also ordered 2 sprinkles of chocolate powder but didn't get any. Other McDonald's restaurants are hit and miss so for me it's not worth the potential for disappointment.

I love the fact you can order on the app and have your meal delivered to your table. Always busy. Most staff are friendly. Cleanliness is hit and miss. Lately we've been going soon after 5pm on a Sunday because it's cheapest for me on the bus and in the hope it's least busy and at its cleanest. Food is fresh. Two weeks ago was given the wrong burger and last visit they forgot to give me my free glass. Problems resolved quickly. I also ❤️ LOVE ordering through the app for the My Maccas Rewards. I often redeem for free burgers, take advantage of Great deals and can't wait to redeem for a free small sundae as a birthday gift from Maccas. You have longer to redeem your birthday gift here than their major competitor who only gives you a few days.

Opened on Boxing Day. We stopped by on the way home at 8pm after a long road that took longer than expected. Drive thru is slightly tighter than normal. Food was hot when we received it. Service was great and efficient.

Staff are super rube like they don't care the job then just quit don't do it. Call the order without drink then walked away and customers just grab whichever in front of them. Mcflurry just gave a bit topping and people need to come back and ask them, the fires gave wrong size to people as well. The tall lady manager are really working and nice but another shorter and manager was super rube. And dirty place no one cleaning the tables. Never come back.

Literally just got served, 10:10 18/9/22, through drive through. The OT was very rude (even my sister who used to work at maccas was very shocked) asked for a receipt (so we could split payments etc) and she yelled at us to go to the next window. When we got to the next window the poor crew there had no idea as to what was going on, we felt sorry for them because they were confused when we asked them where the receipt was. OT shiela needs to be retrained in basic human decency

Ordered medium lactose free hot chocolate and received cup with extreme frothy milk with a large pile of unmixed chocolate powder. Very disappointed.
