This company is absolutely disgusting and rude. I walked into the store about a week ago tried on a pair of sneakers which we're great, I had seen a lot of other retailers have them on sale from $140 to $105 so i just kindly asked if there was anything she could do on price. She then rolled her eyes and said in the rudest most aggressive way "No!! We Do Not Do Discounts!!" and huffed and puffed. So I said that's fine thank you for all your help I'll think it over and decide. A week goes by and I decided I wanted to get them regardless of price, I work down Gawler Place and don't get a lunch break so I called them to see if they could hold it till 4pm the same day as that's the time I finish work. The same girl then replies with the same answer as she said the other week and slammed the phone down. Now I've worked in retail most my life and always do whatever I can for my customers and then to see this in another store from a staff member really makes me angry because these type of people are the ones that give retail workers a bad wrap. I've never voiced my opinion on this matter but after these events I couldn't let this go. Please speak with this staff member because they are giving the industry and the HYPE Store a bad name. The store has fantastic collection of shoes but very very poor service . The ladies didn't bother to give assistance. Anything we asked they would just reply in one word like a toddler ! Even when i went to the counter for purchase the lady looked at her other colleague and did some weird sign maybe was trying to say something which for me looked very strange. When she got the shoes in the box she didn't even bother to open it and show it !! I was in a hurry so just grabbed the bag and left but now i feel like i should have said something . Customer is a customer even if they don't buy expensive stuffs or don't look fabulous!!! We had to buy shoes so we got one from the store but that was the last time. Never going back again .

I went to the Rundle Mall store to collect my online order. I talked to Laura and presented my phone with the order pickup email to her. She didn’t even look at the email or ask my personal information/Order number to search my order in the system, instead she asked me: what did you purchase? I answered her and then she asked: What’s the brand? I replied: Adidas. She asked me again: What’s the name of shoes? If she was searching my order I wouldn’t mind her asking but her attitude and the way she talking was rude. Until I reminded her again to check the details from my email because everything is already there, finally she took my phone and checked the pickup information, but she didn’t say anything just walked away to the room grabbed my order, then asked my name and ID with very impatient tone, no any more words until I left the store. I have collected online orders and purchased in store from different Hype DC stores many times, all the staff were so friendly and professional, Laura was the only one person made me so uncomfortable, as a customer I tried to make things easier, I prepared and provided all the ID and pickup information to her, but she didn’t know what she is doing and she didn’t show any respect or sense of customer service, I feel sorry to Rundle Mall team but I need to give my first 1 star because of Laura.

Had the best service here. We felt so guilty that we forced each other to buy some shoes. We tried on so many shoes and 90% were upstairs. So the assistant came back and forth multiple times. I do apologize for the inconvenience, but I thank you so much for being so pleasant and helpful

rude staff especially the blonde one that chews gum like a cow. they don't seem interested in assisting customers. good range of products though :)

The staff here are super helpful they always go out of their way to make you happy an even 5minutes before closing still served me with a smile which I am so sorry about by the way :) the Filipino lady always by chance ends up serving me an that lady takes her job an conducts herself with pride very relative an she is just really easy going lady i go back fo rundlr mall hype because I know that lady will be there to help me :) thank you! However all staff at all HYPE stores are extremely helpful an best of all NEVER pushy, they don't have to be their product sells itself the staff make the experience .a great one. I've bought 4 pair of shoes in Rundle mall hype in the last month alone NO REGRETS ALWAYS GO BACK HERE! I'm big on customer service its important this store has great customer service an excellent staff! Its fun shopping here! Here again today an their new range is aewsome . . . .

Good lot of shoes but lady was rude. Usually I expect help when buying but I just felt pressured to buy them by her. Im usually understand rude stuff as I work in retail but this, just seemed really off

I was looking for a pair of sneakers I politely asked a shop assistant woman standing there doing nothing if they sold them I pronounced the name superga in correctly She rudely corrected me and said NO I was thrown back by her attitude and rude ness What happened to polite customer service

Was told that I could wear shoes outside of the shop to make sure they fit properly, by a staff member. I checked back the next day and was told that they won't honour the return because they were worn outside. However, this was later rectified when Hype got in touch (see below comment) and arranged a return for me, for which I am thankful.

The service here is phenomenal! Rachel was amazing at helping find the size I needed with my Doc Martens which meant she had to make a few trips to the storeroom and always had a smile on her face. Highly recommended!

Recently purchased Nike's 270, after a few weeks a hole appeared at the top of the shoe. I went to the rundle mall store & spoke to the manager Rachel, she was outstanding. Even tho the store was busy she gave me her time. She was so helpful I returned the shoes the next day for a clean swap without any fuss. I didnt expect them to do that because I had been wearing them.

I bought a new shoes yesterday, I'm really appreciated Lalia who taking me so well. It's rare to find such a dedicated and customer-focused individual in the retail industry, and Lalia's attentiveness and care have earned our loyalty also a personalized and pleasant shopping experience. Literally called the store 30 times across different times cause I tried check if they have the shoes I want in stock. but no one ever picked up the phone, very frustrating. I dont know if they are just that busy all day...

Was told correct model and size in stock as my local store Marion didn't stock them so I've come out of my way to Adelaide store only to be told no stock but can be ordered. Pathetic service and I'll take my business elsewhere

It seems like they have reached their sales quota. They clearly are not interested to help. I dont tak3 things personally but the lady with the beannie was VERY rude, absolutely destroyed the weekend vibe.

Stock the latest sneakers and shoes, including popular brands like Adidas, Nike, Autry, Vans, Converse, Hoka, Merrell, Veja, Puma, Herschel, Swift Run,Old Skool, Lacoste ,New Balance, Birkenstock, accessories and more! However, avoided me and other customers Lacking in product knowledge, selling skills! 1, Don't judge a book by it's cover ! 2 , Let the customer out the door and you're working for the competition ! To many rival competitors nearby that will gladly oblige!

Very poor customer service. Bought pair of shoes online. Needed to exchange the size. Called prior to coming, first got told they don't stock that style, I questioned that and at the end they said they have the size. Came in the store today only to be told they don't have the size after 45 minutes waiting in the store.

The staff are fantastic! They went above and beyond to help an old, bald, fat guy who didnt really know what he wanted and made you trawl through lots of boxes to find a pair of Vans I liked. 😄 Sorry, I don't know your names. Three thumbs up. 👍👍👍
