My son told me that this was unlike any Mexican food I'd ever had. He told me it was hands down his favorite. He got me to try it. I have a new favorite Mexican restaurant. My GOODNESS is this place outstanding! Get the Queso Fundido with Rajas con crema. Basically it is a melted jack cheese with chorizo blended in served with handmade tortillas and a green pepper in a crema to slather with your cheese and eat like a wet taco. It is one of the most delicious things I've ever eaten. I will be going back again and again.

I love this place. The outside doesn't do justice to the look inside. You would never imagine how pretty and delish this place is. Family owned and ran. I've introduced this place to the locals that had no idea this was here. Some of them have tried to tell me there was no restaurant there (next to Ace Hardware). They also serve Alcohol, have happy hour and home made Agua de 🍍 and at times other fruits like 🍉 Have had many yummy dishes and have loved every single one, but yesterday we had the Carne en su Jugo, both of us LOVED it and last but not least, the Plátanos con Crema dessert is by far my fave from anywhere where I've had them before... Whenever in the area this is my lunch spot especially when taking a client along. These pictures are from my first visit, I had to have the Rajas con Crema and yuuuup they live up to the name. Sorry to the many other restaurants in the area that I have ghosted, but you can't blame me 🤤

Nice restaurant in the city of Maywood. (not sure if they have rear parking spaces). Friendly server. We ordered the queso fundido w/ chorizó as an appetizer. Chicken mole enchiladas, Cajun pasta and ceviche. -The mole enchiladas were good. Nothing special about the sauce though. I’ve had tastier mole but I still ate it. The lunch special came with 2 enchiladas and sides of rice and beans. The beans lacked flavor. Rice was ok. - the Cajun pasta was good! Just enough sauce and chicken. It was a creamy lemony pepper sauce. The Ceviche is not your typical ceviche. It was NOT lemony and when asked what type of ceviche it was, the server said “tropical.” Needless to say my friend didn’t enjoy it and sent it back. I ordered an horchata, but had to exchange it for a coke. The horchata lacked the cinnamon flavor I enjoy and you can taste a lot of the rice. I’m pretty sure they have other dishes that are way better than what we tasted but I’ll probably not be going back to find out… sorry

The place is cute, the food is good, and portions are enough. Their sazón (seasoning) is 🔥

Rajas Con Crema is a sophisticated and elegant restaurant that delivers amazing food with great service and hospitality. The restaurant’s interior is genuinely breath-taking, and delivers on the owner’s vision of having a restaurant so great that it allows the people dining in to forget they’re in a small city in Los Angeles. Food and drinks are great, the Sangria and Penne Pasta with sun dried tomatoes are highly recommended. Overall a 5/5 experience that I will not hesitate returning to.

Rajas con Crema is a gem in Maywood. It’s the cutest cozy restaurant. For the past few years I’ve come here often for lunch and never once was disappointed by the quality of food or service. The food is delicious, and they have daily lunch specials. They also have the best margaritas in all of LA, my favorites are the tamarind and mango margaritas, fresh & delicious. The best part of coming here is supporting a great small family owned business.

Amazing food and drinks!!! Can't go wrong with any of their drinks. I had the guayaba margarita and my wife had the traditional Michelada. 💯 The atmosphere is good and I like that they have music playing in the background. It's kid friendly too.

Quaint little place in Maywood, California, with great food and excellent service. This particular plate was named Pollo con Rajas and was a chicken breast with a house sauce, vegetables and rice. I hope to try their Chicken Pasta the next time I visit.

Everything on the menu looks amazing. I ordered the vegetarian Rajas con Crema. The dish wash deliciously made. I can taste the high quality ingredients in the thickness of the cream. And smell the fresh ingredients as soon as my plate arrives. Also I highly recommend the dirty Horchata. 10/10 place, venue, homey, food, and service!!!

Caught up with some friends and we all can't wait to come back! I had the enchiladas verdes and as you can see the food looked so delectable I forgot to take a picture until a few bites in! Javier and Alicia the owners provide quality services! This was a fine establishment and I recommend anyone come visit!

This place should be the poster child, for hole in the wall.. a gem and a priceless one at that. Great staff, first class food, and in a place where you would least suspect it!!! It's weird what it's trying to be, maybe a Mexican/Italian fusion mixing some of the best of both worlds - cheeses/sauces- that makes dishes that are common into something that seems more elevated. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

We came across Rajas con Crema, and this place is cozy, family oriented, and the food really hit the spot! I recommend this place to all, if you are into real Mexican cuisine! The plates that we tried were delicious! Patrons were very friendly and recommended the plates for us to be surprised! But you have to try the Main dish; Rajas con Crema! Great flavor and consistency!

Now, at this place, the owners do everything from being your waiter and chef. They will make sure your visit is the best. The food is excellent, and you have allergies to some ingredients or vegan they will cater to. I love this small spot

We celebrated my son’s 21st birthday and had a wonderful experience. The owner encouraged me to select 3-4 items for dinner menu since we were a large group and asked me to send him photos of my son. The day of, they had the tables nicely set, printed personalized menus with “welcome we are so happy you are here” including my sons name, and displayed photos of my son on their screen. The food was delicious, beautifully displayed, and perfect temperature. The sangria pit was very good. Their hospitality, attention to detail, and accommodations to additional requests was on point. I’m so happy I found this family owned restaurant. The atmosphere is cozy, restaurant is super clean, and they made us feel as if we were dining at home. Thank you Alicia, Javier and their daughter! I cannot thank them enough for making us feel welcomed and valued.

I live an hour away, but my first visit a month or so ago was so good that I decided to make the trip and bring a friend along. We shared the enchiladas ( 2 chicken, and 1 cheese) and the Rajas Con Crema. The Rajas Con Crema is amazing and the enchiladas were good as well It was great meeting the owners husband Javier and chatting with him at length. Service here is outstanding. Everyone is so friendly. Just when we were about to ask for the check Javier recommended we try dessert as well, which we did. Not sure of the name but it was ice cream with some sort of fruit on top and it was delicious as well. Can't more highly recommend this restaurant.

If you’re looking for a clean, and delicious food, THIS IS THE PLACE!! I had the Barbacoa it was perfect portion, served with rice and beans but the best part where the handmade TORTILLAS!!! Presentation of the food was great, the taste of the food was excellent, the service outstanding and prices on target!! You need to come by and try them out!!

This review of five stars is based on the food alone. What are the Pollo corn Raha eat grandma for lunch and it was amazing. Restaurant salt is located in Lynnwood and I’m on the strip area and a small anything. The ambience OK but service was pretty slow. The pollo was so good I will definitely be coming back for more! They also have a great loyalty special where you get double points between 2 PM to 4 PM on weekdays & when you get 400 points they give you $25 off your check!

WOW!! HOME MADE AUTHENTIC FOOD. THIS PLACE WAS JUST FIRE THE TASTE FLAVOR AND THE PEOPLE ARE AMAZING. We were celebrating my dad's 70th and my son was not allowing us to eat. They came over to show him the kitchen and distracted him. A true hidden 💎 gem. I'm from Mexico and being here reminded me of my grandma cooking.

If you like great home cooked food and great service, this is the place to eat. All food is cooked fresh by the owner herself. This isn't your typical Mexican restaurant, their dishes are definitely not the generic stuff you get at the more popular spots around SELA. Fair warning, it's a bit more pricey than your typical Mexican spot, but trust me you get what you pay for. There are also special items that are not on their menu, like the Double Meat Ribs. Just ask and your server should be able to help you. Speaking of, I highly recommend you go whenever Karen is working. We very much appreciate her service and try going on days she is working. This isn't to say the younger ladies are bad at what they do, it's just that you can tell Karen loves her job.

The location is not ideal for the type of luxury and great atmosphere you feel here. It is very simple yet romantic/sophisticated looking restaurant. The real roses 🌹 😍 of each table truly makes the feel of intimacy undeniable. The food menu is Mexican Italian food items. I thought that one flavor of the foods would lose it taste to better the other as most typical restaurants do, yet bothe the Mexican dishes and the Italian cuisine are spectacular! A total must!!!

Went to celebrate a friend’s birthday at Rajas con Crema. Authentic, delicious, Mexican food! All of our plates were made to perfection! Our server provided friendly and prompt service. They even took the time to play the mañanitas for my friend. Overall, This place is perfection! Thank you for exceeding my expectations.

From the awesome fast service, food and coffee 5 stars!!!!! This is our second time here and I am in love with it all. The Rib Eye Steak delicious, the Chilaquiles are delicious, beans authentic! Everything is just YUMMY! We never had to ask for more coffee, soda or water the servers asked us. They work as a team! And their menu has a variety of options. I love this place it is over of my favorite I can't complain about anything from Italian to Mexican food.... Always 5 stars...
