I have one star because giving zero wasn't an option. I would like to say we had a great experience and delicious meal but I can't. If you are going to make people pay ridiculous prices for mediocre food at least put a warning on the door. My wife said I have to be fair and give the place another chance. That is only fair, but it won't be this location. Staff was more interested in checking their cell phones than recommending something off the menu even after we told her it was our first time visiting. You drive 30 minutes to get a restaurant only to give back the soggy, and cold tacos and have to go right over to McDonald's to get more food. Waste of my time

Capital tacos is one of my favorite places in land o lakes. They have such a wide variety of options and the service there is amazing. They have the best orange cream soda. I usually get tacos, 2 id I’m decently hungry and 3 if I’m pretty hungry. I’ve tried many of the different tacos there and my favorites are the Catawampus, hen house, chicken fajita, and Mcyumyum. Honestly they’re all so good though you can’t go wrong. The vibe in there is also so nice and chill. Also, one time they had an issue when I called that I couldn’t order at that time ( I don’t remember what but it was something legitimate they couldn’t control ) and they sent me a $15 gift card! That was very nice and shows their dedication to costumer service Update: I recently ordered their nachos which were absolutely amazing and definitely a menu item I would recommend

As I arrived I to the restaurant, I was greeted promptly and with enthusiasm from the staff. Asking a few questions, they pointed me to a great burrito. Food was great. Love the custom sodas. Outside tables were wet, though possibly from drinks from previous people sitting there. Location could use a thorough cleaning up front, but the kitchen seemed pretty clean from what could be seen from the front. They were out of napkins, but replaced them immediately when brought to their attention. They seemed very busy with carry out orders for lunch.

Ordered delivery through Uber eats and to get this disgusting. Burnt , inedible and the glob of fat really. Also they didn't put any consomme in the box. Definitely not eating here again.

There was a total of 2 orders ahead of me. I had to wait 30 minutes for my food. I still got my food before one of the orders in front of me. The people that ordered before I did, just asked for a refund. It was horribly understaffed and the food is not good enough for anyone to have to wait 30+ minutes for their food while paying $15-$20 per meal. I would be more graceful if they were busy. But a total of 3 orders?? Come on do better.

The staff were really nice and the food was really tasty. I had the chicken fajita as a burrito and as a taco and it was great, I'd definitely recommend it and honestly I could recommend basically every entree on the menu aside from seafood ones since I don't eat seafood (but I'm sure they're just as good as the rest)

It's a nice little quiet spot. I've passed by at least a dozen times and always wanted to stop in. I ordered the monster quesadilla and boy was it a monster. Chicken quesadilla 9/10 Fries 10/10 Parmasian corn on cob thingy 0/10 (went in trash) Beef taco 6/10

I love tacos and every time I would pass this place it was always too early and was close. Today I finally was able to stop and try it. Tacos had a great flavor but was served very messy, too wet. Place could use a clean, staff could be a bit more helpful with menu and suggestions. They were out of a few items from the menu. Cheese was cold and clumpy (not sure if this is how it’s serve) I normally get hot and loose cheese and I got like 6 small chips. Kinda disappointed

While I did not HAVE a good experience here on my first try, the owner took the time to make things right. For this reason I will change my review to reflect what great customer service responses deserve. Thank you for trying to make things right.

Love the food-but the place is dirty! Staff is not friendly. Came on Memorial Day and had 2 tacos, 1 chicken fajita burrito, the chips and queso (which has to be by far the best ever) and a drink. $33.00. Food is great. Wish the owners/managers would keep a better eye on cleanliness. Not sure if this location is mainly take out, but we dined in and our food was put in a paper bag. Area around soft drink station and silverware/napkins was very dirty.

Order one salad and one bowl to go. When we arrived to pickup were told it would be another half hour because they were cooking the rice. So we changed the order to two salads. There must have been an entire bottle of ranch dressing dumped on the salad. You couldn’t taste anything as all the lettuce and chicken were swimming in the sauce. It was disgusting and so bad I had to throw away. I have eaten here in the past and it was ok but this was bad. I won’t be coming back.

We used to love this place, but it has gone down hill. We just had an order delivered. One taco had under cooked shrimp, the wrong type of shrimp was on a salad and had no dressing. Another salad had so much dressing amd lime that it was inedible. When we called and we were told they were out of the stuff to make the dressing and that they knew the shrimp wasn't right but weren't sure what happened. So they sent an order out for delivery knowing it was wrong. The manager was too busy to come to the phone and we were asked to call back later. The customer service at this location is ridiculous.

Not sure what the bad reviews are about because none of them are true. Tried this place for the first time… and the “small burrito” one of the posters talked about felt like it weight 10 damn pounds. It was huge. Also, the food was hot, fresh and delicious. Great spot. Will come again.

Great little hole in the wall place that states they are open 8 days a week. What a journey that must be when u have the munchies. Chips are cut & cooked fresh to order.

Place is awful and over priced. Kids quesadillas had little to no cheese and tasted awful because of what they were cooked on, my wife ordered birria tacos which came soggy in the container, which we ate outside the restaurant, loaded with cilantro and onions? I order 3 tacos, the fried chicken I did not finish because the chicken was suspect, the ground beef was a greasy gross slop that was bland, and my shrimp taco wasn't the best, but was the best we had received this evening. We wasted over $60 for this and we waiting for almost 40 min when we were the only people there. We will not be back and suggest everyone stay away from this.

Food is SOOOOO overpriced for what you get. I was shocked to see the size of these nachos that I paid almost $14 for. Food was good, just absolutely not worth the price.

The food was good. The cashier did not seem like he knew what he was doing. Had I not looked at the register. We would have paid close to $80 for two people because he didn't know what he was doing. He told my wife for the taco bundles. You had to have the same meat. My wife wanted different meat in each one.

Got some tacos and burritos for dinner. I will say the tacos were completely soaked in oil and had no flavor. We ordered 2 burritos and only received 1. The burrito we did get tasted sour like vinegar. The woman who answered the phone to take the order was rude and hung up saying they were busy after we tried to ask how long our order would take. We went to go pick up and noticed that the restaurant was not busy at all and only had 2 people sitting outside. I don't know if they have changed ownership or chefs but when we first started eating here they were great and unfortunately this time we were very disappointed with our dinner. Im sorry to say I don't believe we'll be ordering from here again.
