April 29, 2022 One of the cleanest and well-organized wet and dry markets I've ever been into. Vendors are so hospitable, one even accompanied us to what she attests sells the best smoked fish in Balanga! Is that accommodating or what?! 🤗

This place have all the thing you'll need. They have the fish section that the fish that they sell are purely fresh and also the meat section. Alongside the meat section you can find food parks and stalls for food cake stores and everything food. And of course you can find clothing stores here there are so many stalls to choose and so many clothes to find. Highly recommend to visit especially for those that are in low budget shopping

It's the good ol' Balanga city public market although I've never been to the wet market section that much since the pandemic. It's still the same layout as it was since it was renovated in the late 2000s. Very easy to browse through the stalls, but the sad part is that some shops had closed down. *Addendum A few months had passed since my initial review, there were some progress. Although some of the stallsbwe frequent had closed, the new normal has made it possible to somewhat normally buy stuff once again. Plus! It is wonderful to see that waffle kiosk back in business once again

Place is safe full of market aid wherever you go. Price is affordable, i loved the smoke fish whatever the variety is. I usually brought it to Manila if I have the chance to drop by there sometimes i sent it over to other countries for my friends. RTW's wear is so fashinable, I normally go to May's store (near Muchelle Bakeshop) for my corporate slacks cheaper than the malls and it really fits me and so with her tops super nice.

Various dried fish are available for local and international purchasing. Vacuuming services are available.

A definite go to place for buying your favorite Bataan must haves for pasalubong... tinapa and tuyo (which could be vacuumed sealed), araro, kasuy, and if you have storage for it, Geno's ice cream-packed in an ice box. The market itself is very clean (one of the cleanest I've seen), easy to navigate, and with tons of options to offer.

I really like this market. From fresh seafood and meat to fruits and vegetables to clothing and shoes and hygeine products and so many other things this is a great place to get just about anything you would need. All the vendors and shop owners I had contact with were very friendly and courteous and most spoke very good English as well as Tagalog and various other Filipino dialects. The market itself is quite large and I spent a few hours there and still only saw part of it but what's also nice is that it's surrounded by other shops and restaurants. The prices on everything I bought were very reasonable and actually very low on some items and I'm looking forward to going there again. The only thing I saw that would be a problem is the traffic around the market and parking. If you take a bus into Mariveles I would suggest getting off at the stop by Jollibee and then taking a trike cuz there are areas where there are no sidewalks if you chose to walk to the market and if you are not used to dodging the traffic then walking on the street is not a good idea. There are shops and stores and many small restaurants all the way to the market so if you are sharp and want to get some exercise avoiding the trikes and cars on the narrow streets on the way to the market it is just a few blocks from the Jollibee bus stop. If you have private transportation I would suggest parking at the lot across from Jollibee and walking or taking a trike cuz the traffic gets a little crazy on the narrow streets on the way to the market and there's no parking once you get there. Again if you are up for an adventure it's only a few blocks if you choose to walk or for about 60 cents U.S. you can take a trike which is an experience in itself and something anyone who comes to the Philippines should try

This the place where you can buy "Pasalubong" for your family and friends when you visit the province of Bataan. You can buy the best smoked milk fish and salted dried fish made in Balanga City, Bataan.
