I
recently
dined
at
Nanyang,
a
modern
Singaporean
kopi
tiam-style
restaurant
nestled
in
The
Shops
in
Ayala
Triangle,
and
it
did
not
disappoint.
The
ambiance
was
a
breath
of
fresh
air
with
its
predominantly
white
facade,
gray
seats,
and
light
wooden
partitions,
exuding
an
inviting
outdoor
vibe.
The
tiled
wall
murals
and
hanging
plants
added
a
touch
of
charm
to
the
space,
making
it
a
pleasant
spot
to
linger.
As
I
perused
the
menu,
the
intriguing
scents
wafting
from
the
kitchen
lured
me
in.
I
couldn't
resist
trying
the
Cheesy
Chicken
Chop
Noodle,
Prawn
Laksa,
Prawn
Noodle
Soup,
Hainanese
Chicken
Rice,
and
Kopi
Jelly
Milk
Tea.
The
flavors
were
spot
on,
truly
capturing
the
authentic
taste
of
Singaporean
cuisine.
The
Cheesy
Chicken
Chop
Noodle
was
a
delightful
fusion
of
savory
chicken,
rich
cheese,
and
perfectly
cooked
noodles,
creating
a
burst
of
flavors
in
every
bite.
The
Prawn
Laksa
was
a
bowl
of
aromatic
and
spicy
goodness,
with
plump
prawns
swimming
in
a
fragrant
coconut-based
broth.
The
Prawn
Noodle
Soup
was
comforting
and
flavorful,
with
tender
prawns
and
noodles
soaking
up
the
delicious
broth.
The
Hainanese
Chicken
Rice
was
a
classic
dish
done
right,
with
succulent
chicken
and
fragrant
rice.
And
the
Kopi
Jelly
Milk
Tea
was
a
refreshing
and
indulgent
treat,
with
the
right
balance
of
coffee
and
milk.
Nanyang's
attention
to
detail
in
capturing
the
essence
of
Singaporean
flavors
was
commendable.
The
service
was
attentive,
and
the
overall
dining
experience
was
enjoyable.
While
the
restaurant
was
quiet
and
inviting,
it's
worth
noting
that
some
other
establishments
in
the
mall
have
yet
to
open,
which
may
have
contributed
to
the
calm
ambiance
during
my
visit.
With
its
enticing
ambiance
and
delectable
Singaporean
fare,
Nanyang
is
a
must-visit
for
foodies
looking
to
embark
on
a
culinary
journey
through
the
flavors
of
Singapore.
I
rate
my
experience
at
Nanyang
with
4
stars,
as
it
left
me
craving
for
more
of
their
delicious
offerings.
