Such a silent and peaceful sanctuary for praying and meditation. My family and I were very lucky to be here. We walked along the Cross Path and prayed at each monument. I taught my boys how to pray till the end of the path. Then we found the statue of Jesus dead body lying down in a cave with a glass fench. Stone benches for praying surrounded the Jesus statue. The atmosphere rose up my spiritual sense; I can't help to weep in tears for being grateful on the beautiful LOVE that God has given. Thank you OCD for providing this praying cave, and for maintaining all so well. Jesus bless ❤💕❤💕❤

Nice praying garden, one of my favorite

A perfect place to pray. Tranquil. Closed due to pandemic.

Basically it is a monastery with a Santa Maria cave and church which is open for Catholics to stop by, pray or join the Sunday mass. It was located in the Lembang city, with a contrast to the surrounding. It was very quiet and very suitable place to visit, pray, comtemplate, meditate and worship. However, coming here is not complete if you only pray :-) there are few stalls outside selling nice food, i.e. rabbit satay and others and these stalls are quite famous to visitors.

A beautiful and peaceful monastery. It is the perfect place to have a quiet time and pray.

Regularly visit each time i go to Lembang Bandung and seems that they have remodeling and upgraded their little store to shine and look more stylish and modern showcase of christians merchandise, nice

A serene place for prayers and tranquility. A catholic church is next to the facility and makes the whole site a catholic-faith-based facility. One of the best in Bandung, shown by lots of faithful churchgoers going the distance to come here rather than going to their local church. Parking is plenty, and there is a catcholic goodies tuck shop in the facility as well for your spriritual or other purposes.

A place for praying. before it was a quite and serene place to pray. But now this area become noisy. We can hear motorcycle going here and there very clearly. But still a good place. Coming here a day before the Great Friday and walking through the via della rossa.

It's a beautiful form of art, the place is perfect if you ever need to speak to the Holy Mary. The scenery is great it feels very calming and peaceful, with very nice weather. I often pray with my family whenever i'm visitting Bandung "Glory to God, who is able to do far beyond all that we could ask or imagine by his power at work within us.” Ephesians 3:20

Visiting today and some breakdown for renovation occur. They made new gate in front of old gate. Larger and more functional. So our driver park the car about 100meters next. I pray on Jesus Cross roads and Maria cave. Many visitors showed up there but not to crowd in totally silent. You can buy religion apparatus there such as cross and candle. They write in every corner that this place especially for pray and not for recreational. But for me it does both for the soul. God bless us.

One of my family favorite getaway when we drive to Lembang..eat some Bakso here is a must! They also have a new food court in d backyard where the new parking lot is. The prayer garden is very beautiful to enjoy a spiritual journey 😇

Quite, clean & peaceful place for refreshing your mind

A solemn Catholic pilgrimage site

It always feels good to be here. This place is a spiritual retreat place for Catholics in Bandung, but actually everyone is welcome here. There is a monastery (OCD Nuns) and also St. Maria Fatima Church (under Diocese of Bandung). The main interests here are Cave of Virgin Mary and Via Dolorosa. People come here to pray - Or to escape daily life hectic. Best time to visit is in the morning and not on the weekend. Because Lembah Karmel is located in Lembang which is famous for its traffic congestion due to many places of interest around the area especially on weekends or holidays. You don't have to be a Catholic to be here. However, keep in mind that Lembah Karmel is a place to pray (Note: there is a friendly reminder on the entrance gate from the nuns about this). So, instead of loud chattering, it is better to enjoy the fresh air and take look at the surrounding scenery. Still not enough? Please your palate with local specialties such as Sate Mbok Gemi (also known as Sate Karmel and its signature: Rabbit Satay with sweet and savory peanut sauce), Bakso Karmel (Soft and crisp meatball - sign of less flour used), Roti Karmel (lots of bakery varieties. Try their Almond Chocolate Crisps!), and Cassava Chips (thin and vertically sliced. Resulted in crispy and longer version of cassava chips). There are also many flower sellers here. Another note: the entrance way is really narrow. Only fit for a car and it's one way. Parking lot is next to Pastoral building not too far from main entrance.
