Very welcoming hotel, cozy bed and room. Clean and plenty of amenities. Lovely court yard and atmosphere. Everything in the room was right where it should. Hotel has a good flow. Even for a night, I enjoyed my stay. If back in area again, I'll stay.

This place was marvelous. Beautiful and welcoming, both the property and the staff. We were only there overnight as we went to Vina Robles for concert, but we highly recommend it. Starbucks around 1 corner and Big Bubba BBQ around other corner all within walking distance.

Nice clean rooms for a reasonable price at a good location. That's all you need, right? Didn't use the heated pool, but the dry sauna and spa was very nice. The only downside was the trucks all pulling out before 6am on weekdays. Also, no breakfast on site, but the restaurant a few feet away comes with a $5 discount.

Due to the 4th of july weekend, all available hotels between Los Angeles and Monterey were very expensive. So we did a little detour and stayed one night here. We did not regret it, nice hotel, a bit outdated but clean. The pool area was nice as well. Only negative was the breakfast at Margie‘s Diner. It was ok, but we expected more. We had the choice between a grab‘n go breakfast from the hotel or a dicount for breakfast at Margie‘s. Maybe we should have chosen the first option.

Decided to stay here while visiting Hearst Castle, and it proved a good place to stay. Check in was prompt and professional, and the clerk was very helpful, and we found our room to be quite spacious and very comfortable. The climate control unit (heat/AC) was the quietest of any we encountered on this trip, and the most effective. Our bathroom, in a basic room, had a Jacuzzi bath tub, jets and all. Everything worked well. Our room even offered an ethernet (wired) connection, which was really fast. They offer a 'Grab and Go' breakfast or a $5 coupon for Maggie's Restaurant. Did not go into the restaurant, so I cannot comment on that, but the Grab and Go breakfasts were pretty good. Very quiet in the room even though it's not far from from the 101. Check out the next morning was prompt, but a friendly cat made it even better. We will stay here again when we are in the area again.

Staff is friendly, polite and helpful. I like the landscaping around the property. To me, it shows pride in their location. Everything is clean. There's paper towel dispensers located near the parking lot to aid in cleaning the windows on the car. I've stayed here a few times over the past few years en route to Laguna Seca raceway in various rooms. They all have been clean and convenient to unload the car. The new mattress and coffee makers are a huge plus in my book. There's a diner and a couple of restaurants now within a short walk from the room. I highly recommend and will plan to continue to stay at this location!

Friendly front desk reception. Super clean reception, room, and pool area. Close to 101N and 101S entrances. Surrounded by plenty of food options and a couple of gas stations. Less than 10 minutes from Sensorio (highly recommend visiting this art display).

Room was really nice and big. I give a 3 star for service since they don’t offer breakfast (which is what I really love at BW plus). Instead you get $5 per person at Margie’s or some sort of grab bag. All in all are stay was great 😊

My husband posted about the Breakfast however that was not my concern. My concern was about the stale cigarette smell. Adding more filters on the AC is not cutting it, you just need to add new ones. Overall tho the rooms were nice and clean the beds were comfortable and the grounds are pretty. I would give this place a 10 if you got the smell out.

On the dusty side of Paso, but a real gem! Lovely landscaping, very comfy rooms, wonderful toiletries, and kind people. I will absolutely stay again.

Great hotel - clean, spacious, and very friendly and kind staff. Free parking. Breakfast - you can pick up small to go items or get a $5 coupon for the diner. 15-20 minute walk to downtown.

I'm giving this two stars instead of one because of the centralized location. That said, I would never stay here again. I've stayed at a lot of Best Western Plus hotels over the years. They're my go-to. But this was on par with a cheap motel rather than the experience you expect from a Plus. The room (214) had issues before we even entered. At the door, there was a washcloth left over from the previous occupant. And it had something brown smeared all over it. 🤮 Upon entering the room, I was hit by the smell of stale cigarettes. This is supposed to be a non-smoking hotel, and as someone with severe allergies to smoke, I was not happy to be smelling that. But, after a day of wine tasting, and an evening pick-up party to boot, I was exhausted and just wanted to sleep. So I let the smell go rather than hassling with changing rooms (it was around 9pm). Then, as I started to unpack my toiletries and walked over to the bathroom sink, I was greeted by not one, but two baby cockroaches. Plus hotels all include breakfast. I've never stayed at one that didn't serve a hot breakfast. This hotel offers a grab and go bag with an apple and a bunch of junk food in it. The staff was nice, but like I said, I would not stay here again.

Great place with friendly staff. Clean rooms, well kept grounds and nice pool and spa. $5 credit towards breakfast or lunch at Margie's Diner next door. Be sure to pet Norman the Cat!

VERY nice people at the front desk especially the young lady in the morning!! Rooms very clean!!! Grounds really nice with the ⛲️ fountains!!! The only thing was the house keeping lady just walked in at 10:30 am and didn't even knock, glad I wasn't naked🤣 Just one thing there was alot of homeless people drunk in the area so I wish it was a better location 😔

Stopped here on the way home after spending Thanksgiving with family. It is very conveniently located, just off of 101. Close to restaurants, fuel and Starbucks. Rooms are very large and very clean and quiet.

Coming from a top rated 5* central San Francisco Hotel with a daily rate of over 600 USD it was a very pleasant surprise to find this hotel on our way back to LA with similar services at a quarter of the price. Moreover, the attention to detail of the cleaners, the size of the room, the presence of all little necessary items in the room and the attitude of staff, the sauna and spa make it, in fact, superior to many 5* rated hotels which lost any soul and personal touch. Highly recommended.

The Best Best Western I have ever stayed with! Clean, great amenities, friendly and very thoughtful grab and go bag on leaving. Definitely will stay again!

Very nice rooms and great pool but be aware for asking for the complementary toiletries. My daughter asked for 1 each of what she can get for the room and she walked away petting there cat Norman and they went in the back room talking rude about my daughter for asking for. The free toiletries. That was very unprofessional from the staff to talk rude behind my daughters back and she heard everything and walked away crying. Please be nice next time when someone ask for anything .

Older hotel but clean. The cost is about right. Friendly service. Thin walls so you can hear noise from outside but this is a common issue with most hotels in this price class. EV chargers on site so great for EV owners who destination charge.

The hotel was very nice. It is well maintained and well kept. The room and bathroom were very clean, you felt safe walking around the property. The bed was very comfortable. The staff are very friendly. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to others as well.

This place was great. Let's just say for starters, Sharon greeted us to check us in after a long drive from Ventura. She was a bundle of joy to be greeted with and a wealth of information. Please give her a raise she deserves it and we'd stay here again when in Paso again just because of her alone. The rooms were clean and cool since it was rather warm compared to Ventura where we live. This place gives you discounts on the food places within 100 ft walking distance. There are many food options and if you want to pick up a 6 pack of beer you can easily at the gas station another 100 feet from this place. The pool was clean and refreshing and the spa was nice on my lower back after driving my wife's SUV for as long as we did. They had towels for us to use too. The shower had power and plenty of soaps, etc stocked up. They even had cotton balls, q-tips, and a shower cap for my wife which most other places forget to give you. Anyway, if you are looking for a reasonable place to stay that is cost-efficient, stay here. Thank you again, Sharon, you are awesome and shine bright for all your guests.

We stayed in one of the nicer rooms. It was a little better than other rooms but with that came a higher price. However, the shampoo, soaps, coffee and like things were terrible for the price we paid. The hotel gives you $3.00 voucher or sack breakfast for the attached breakfast restaurant. You can’t even buy coffee for $3.00. The sack breakfast was of the lowest quality. I would stay here again on an overnight trip through town it would be perfect but for a weekend get away look further. I don’t consider this a BEST WESTERN PLUS simply because of the cheap products and breakfast options.

Great hotel! Very nice room, king bed, clean and provides all the expected accoutrements. Very pleasant staff with easy check in and out. Nicely decorated room and extra bedding and towels.

Only stayed 1 night, but from we could tell, it is a really nice place. The room was very clean & comfortable. Great location for freeway access and nearby restaurants (including on site diner type place which we didn't have time to try) The 2 people we interacted with at the front for check in & check out were friendly. Based on the quick visit, we'd choose to stay there again (as we prefer Best Western). Added note, we were disappointed with the items in "grab and go breakfast" as it was just a water bottle, an apple, a cheese stick & tiny granola bar. I guess the free breakfast/breakfast included won't be like it used to be pre-COVID.
