Boisar station in on western line and it is towards gujrat border. It is mainly known for industrial hub and as compared to outer mumbai it is somewhat cheaper. Few of glimpses of railway station I've added here. Trains are not so frequent here, if you want to go Dadar or Churchgate so you have to plan your journey accordingly.

Peaceful, and less crowded as not in the main city of Mumbai, only problem is :- The frequency of locals to reach boriwali and Virar, it's one each hour and if crowded and you miss it ,waste another hour again. There are long route mail trains definately that can be of help to reach Mumbai also. Have fun small kids and plenty of space to roam around and have great time watching long route trains .

Boisar is a fast-growing industrial town located in the Palghar district of Maharashtra, India. Over the years, it has witnessed remarkable development and transformation, becoming a prominent hub for various industries and residential sectors. Historically, Boisar was primarily known for its agricultural activities, but in the late 20th century, it underwent a significant shift towards industrialization. The town's strategic location, being situated at the intersection of the Western and Central Railway lines, played a pivotal role in attracting industrial investments. Today, Boisar boasts a diverse industrial landscape, encompassing sectors such as pharmaceuticals, engineering, chemicals, and textiles. The Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC) has established multiple industrial estates, providing infrastructural support and incentives to businesses, encouraging their growth. The influx of industries has spurred economic development and employment opportunities in the region, attracting a considerable migrant workforce seeking better prospects. This demographic shift has also contributed to the town's population growth and urbanization. In addition to its industrial significance, Boisar offers a decent standard of living, with various residential projects and amenities catering to the growing population. The town's proximity to Mumbai and other major cities makes it an attractive option for both industries and residents. Despite its industrial progress, Boisar has not forgotten its cultural roots. The town celebrates various festivals and cultural events, preserving its traditions and heritage. The harmonious coexistence of old and new is evident in the town's architecture, with temples and historical landmarks blending with modern industrial complexes. However, the rapid pace of industrialization has posed challenges, including environmental concerns and infrastructure strains. Authorities have been working to balance development with sustainability, implementing measures for waste management and environmental conservation. The future of Boisar looks promising, as it continues to attract investments and infrastructure improvements. However, careful planning and sustainable practices will be essential to ensure its growth is balanced and benefits all stakeholders while preserving its unique identity.

Boisar is almost on the borders of Gujarat and Maharashtra. It is mostly 80% covered with industries. It's again a developing city, lot of air pollution though.
