Isla de la Corota is the smallest Natural National Park in Colombia! Is only 16 ha! Very recommend place !

This place is amazing, a big lake in the middle of Andes mountains and just in the center an island with beautiful birds and exotic flowers.

The smallest wildlife sanctuary in Colombia but one of the most important and emblematic for the indigenous tribes. This is a must go place in Pasto to recharge energy and connect with nature.

Nice boat ride on the lake to get to the island. It was muddy and wet when I went so I didn't actually go into the sanctuary, but I imagine it would be nice.

Still closed for hiking. Expensive lancha for only 40 min tour in bad weather if you are traveling solo. Arrive in small groups to share boat costs.
