Very beautiful architecture and great location of sangam (where two rivers meet). Very less people around. Could be maintained better to give a truly divine experience to the visitors. Excavation work and repairs were going on in and around the temple which hopefully will improve the aesthetics and hygiene. Free parking at entrance for 3-4 cars and few bikes. From the parking, an iron bridge leads to the temple. Few meters of steep steps to reach the temple. Few more small temples around with really beautiful architecture. No civic amenities in few hundred meters. Show stand is not manned and make you nervous.

Beautiful piece of architecture. The restoration work has been done superbly. It would be great if the water bodies on both sides of the temple is also cleaned.

Beautiful place. Peace is the word and such a calm place with so many historical things around First Peshwa Baliji Vishwanth Samadhi... Childhood friend of Shivaji Maharaj and commander of the great Maratha cavalry Sardar Godaji Jagtap samadhi. The temple is of Hemandpathi architecture and build in Yadava s time aroung 11th century.. perfect place ❤️

Om Namah Shivay! This place is good to spend an hour or so. The view from the bridge is not what it looks like in photos 😶. Better go in Monsoon Season or early morning for the best experience. Most importantly, I didn't find clean water in the Mandir to wash my hands before darshan. Had to wash it from the stream which is filthy, so that doesn't make sense.

Situated in an idyllic location, surrounded by rolling hills and two rivers, this temple is said to hv been built between 10-12 century and is dedicated to Lord Shiva. Built in black stone, you will see a beautiful Nandi located at the entrance. These places make us proud....but the upkeep could really be looked into. It's serene n peaceful.

A very well built and preserved old temple of Lord Shiva in Saswad, Pune. Along with the temple this place is a nice location for photoshoots as well. A small and narrow section of bhima river goes alongside the temple which enhances it's natural beauty as well.

Sangam (संगम) means Confluence. This is a Mahadev Mandir named as Sangameshwar (संगमेश्वर) because it is beautifully situated at the Confluence of two rivers. The temple area is so calm, peaceful, beautiful, and scenic. One can find peace over here. Most importantly well maintained and clean so must visit this place and maintain its above said qualities.

The architecture of the ancient temple is a marvel to behold. The intricate carvings, weathered stone walls, and the scent of history that permeates the air evoke a sense of reverence. The temple's design reflects a deep understanding of both spiritual and aesthetic principles, showcasing the craftsmanship of the artisans who dedicated their skill to its creation.
