We had an amazing experience here at Galata. The family platter was amazing with French Fries, White Rice, and Bread. The meat items were immaculate as well. I would definitely come here again.

Galata Butcher Grill Pretty busy location, parking is very small for entire plaza, had hard time to find parking spot! ☹️ Table capacity is enough for family and special occasions. Menu is huge and they have everything you need! So many kabab choices 🤤 awesome 👏 Customer welcoming needs to be improved! Also, menu isn’t available on all tables! However, we scanned QR code and that was pretty complicated! could be designed better! Anyway, got my order very fast and it was really delicious, food quality is high, price range is average to high and kitchen crew are pretty clean and fast. Management and service needs big improvement! When i got there, I saw only one server for almost 15+ customer! :| Yogurt drink is amazing 🤩

I ordered Kokoreç and Kizu Beyti. Kokoreç was delicious. I always eat İstanbul style Kokoreç. I also ordered Kuzu Beyti. First time I tried it. Will not be my first choice, but still it was tasty. If you want to taste original delicious Turkish kebabs, you have to visit this place. In their menu, all kinds of Turkish kebaps and other options exist.

Galata is one of the best Turkish Restaurant in all New Jersey. The food as good as in Turkiye. I recommend kusleme, adana and doner, lamb liver, lamb sheesh. The service is perfect and the staff is so friendly. I strongly recommend.

Best halal meat restaurant in New Jersey. They have kokoreç (lamb intestin) that you can't get enough, it's soo good. I had nice fathers day with my family.

Outstanding service. Unmatched quality. I come here practically everyday and eat as if my own mother cooked the food. It’s delicious and cooked perfectly every time and the waiters and staff are so nice! The lamb and chicken skewers were amazing. I have no complains about the taste, presentation or the ambiance of the place. Food was served within 15 minutes. The one star missing is for the portion. I really wish the portion was better. For $18 most restaurants would provide a lot more. Otherwise it’s a 10🤝🏻

One of the few places that makes me happy about living in NJ. One should definitely try kokoreç and ciğer if you're into them. One of the best you could find around. Always a pleasure.

If you are from the area i would highly recommend you to try their food they have a great variety of food. Staff is very friendly, they grill the food on the spot. Great service and even better food very friendly atmosphere. They are open late which is a big plus. Seating could be a bit better but due to covid it shouldn't really matter. Do try their turkish coffee its very good!!

Going to have to give this place a lower rating. It use to be great with qty of food in the family mix platters. Buts it's inconsistent. Qty and flavor. Last two times meats been dry and bland.

Eatable food. Very expensive and prices are not advertised anywhere, so you wont see nothing until you are done eating. Worse annoying thing was they served the wrong sandwich and charged the difference for their own mistake. Unprofessional workers argue loudly among themselves. It was amazing place to find out all about Mediterranean food especially Turkish food… Our server Kibrisli Mem is a great personality and best guide to help you out to find the best delicious food on the menu!!!

We ordered a Mixed Grille Platter ($36.50) expecting enough food for at least 3-4 people. What we got was one styrofoam tray of food that barely fed 2 people. It had one chicken kabob, one skewer of beef, and one of lamb. It came with one side (a small handful of rice) and we ordered another side for an additional $2.50 (another small handful of bulger). We ordered the food for pickup about 30 minutes in advance. We got there 15 *after* the estimated pickup time and the food still wasn't ready. Ten minutes later, I had to physically stand in front of them as they made my order. It doesn't seem like enough for the amount of money we paid for it.

I came here for their kokorec which is made from intestines for whom not familiar with the dish. I would give it a 9 out of 10. I ordered the one that’s İstanbul style which has tomatoes and peppers compared to Izmir style. The fat ratio was perfect and the spices were just right. I would come back for the kokorec. The bread was too big for me. If you check the picture i moved some of the kokorec towards one side to eat smaller portion of the bread.

Fantastic. Led by our great freind and Turkish leader Abraham he brought us into this restaurant to experience his culture's food. It was outstanding and although more on the expensive side it was most definitely worth it. We can not reccomend this place enough.

I have to say I won't be back here ever again. I've ordered pick up 3x and every time they did me dirty. I called in a order for 2 adana wraps and everytime I went to pick it up it wasn't yet started. Then the guy has the nerve to lie to me everytime. I'm done with this place. The only good thing about this place is the poor girl that works there. She is very nice and sweet.

Verify of freshly made meats full of flavor. Very impressive operation. My family and I throughly enjoyed the chicken, beef and lamb skewers. Definitely worth revisiting.

You go to Galata Butcher not for the ambiance or service but for the food! We picked everything we wanted from the glass freezer and they made us an amazing platter of very tasty Turkish food! Great experience and would definitely come back

Update! They renovated inside and it looks really good. We tried kokorec and gyros, I can honestly say it was the best kokorec and gyro I tried so far. They also have midye dolma! I highly recommend! They have variety of option to choose what to eat. Food was delicious but the ambiance is not that nice to be honest. They need to fill that space with tables so it won’t look like they are in the middle of some kind of moving. Overall nice food.
