Finally made the trip all the way from Atlanta, GA to eat at Hills Carib Flava. Food was flavorful, tasty and very delicious. Real Jamaican cooking ina Patterson, NJ. We had the Jerk fish, steamed fish, brown stew fish. Oxtails, stew beef, bammy, festival, buoy couldn't get enough. Food was deliciously prepared and finger licking good. Oh and yes mi can't finish without saying how good the goat head soup was, feel like I was straight ina Jamaica. Thank you Hills Carib Flava for giving me and my family a fantastic time and enjoyable dinner experience!!! Can't wait to visit again!!! Karen from Atlanta!!!!!

I'm not big on curry but I'd subscribe to their curry goat, the best I've ever had. Tender and well marinated. The ladies are very warm and charismatic. Would definitely take a 30 min drive for it instead of settling for mediocre curry elsewhere.

Hands down the best Jamaican food I have ever had! I have been to several Caribbean restaurants in the Jersey area and in Caribbean neighborhoods in NY and this is the best I have ever had. I had a small order catered, I placed the order at 12:30pm and they had FRESH COOKED food ready for me by 4pm. The chef even hand delivered the goat that required more time to cook. All my guests loved the food and went back for third helpings! The chef and woman at the counter are both incredibly nice. A true gem, delicious food!

We drive 30+ minutes each way to get this amazing food. The staff is so friendly and accommodating and everything on the menu is delicious. I’ve been eating Jamaican food for 20+ years and this is the best in the area. Aside from the entrees, try the soup, the homemade juices, the festival and the patties. Everything tastes great so you can’t go wrong. Shout to Chef Hill and her team. See you soon

My Wife and I had different dishes, I had the curry 🍛 goat while she had the Jerk Chicken 🐔 both dishes were absolutely 💯 delicious 😋 this is my new favorite Caribbean spot, not much on seating capacity, however, we both forgave that for the savory dishes that tantalized our pallets...P.S. the Bannana Pudding 🍮 was on point 👉 !!!!!

We used Hill's Carib Flava to cater my husband's bday party and were absolutely thrilled with our experience! Chef Hillary provided an amazing assortment of fresh and delicious food to serve about 30 people—all of our guests absolutely loved it! Hillary was very accommodating and worked with us to create a menu that would cater to our guests—everything from jerk chicken and jerk ribs, stew chicken, curried goat—to vegetarian mains like curried lima beans and jerk chickpeas, and lots of yummy sides—mac n cheese, yams, cabbage, rice n peas. And of course patties—both beef and vegetarian spinach—those were a huge hit! Everything arrived hot, fresh and on time. Thank you Chef Hillary!

While visiting from Florida, my husband and I were looking for a good spot to eat. Not being from the area we Googled “Carribean Restaurants” and Hills Carib Flava was the first to catch our eye. While waiting to place my order I spoke with another customer that had nothing but great things to say about the food and the restaurant in general. I placed my order for the Curry Goat dinner, Ox tail dinner, Jerk Chicken dinner, and a Golden Krust Spice Bun. When I opened the tray the smell was MESMERIZING! EVERYTHING WAS DELICIOUS! Even my husband said that he loved everything which says a lot because he can be really critical when it comes to food. The portion sizes were great and I love that they don’t short you on meat and overfill the plate with rice, which is common where I’m from. I also MUST comment of the sweet lady that took my order and prepared our food. It was such a pleasure chatting with her. Hills Carib Flava is the best Carribean food that I have eaten and I definitely plan to eat there again when visiting NJ.

Stopped here on the way home from work, needed some vegetarian options because i am fasting. Women at the counter (i believe she was the owner) was very pleasent and happy to assist. She recommended the protein soup with no meat, also had the rice with peas, plantain and cabbage. Everything was very good! Definitely will be going back, so glad to have found this little gem!

I had curry goat+white rice and a stew chicken+rice and peas and a beef patty. Good on the taste buds. And I’m happy they had sorrel drinks. I don’t live too close but I will be back.

I'm not trying to put down a small business but either the people that are leaving these reviews have no taste buds or I must have been high. Now it is a organized and clean Jamaican restaurant but I believe what they give to consumer is just a rip-off. I ordered a large oxtail meal with the rice, peas cabbage, and macaroni and cheese. The macaroni and cheese was just awful as if it was just plastic cheese baked on to macaroni noodles. For 20 something dollars they give you a whole bunch of rice and just four medium size oxtails. I don't know if this is supposed to be a Jamaican tradition or something but the oxtail was like chewing on rubber bands. I understand the price of goods have gone up in the country and it is rightfully so to raise the price up on your meals, but if you going to just give people 4 little oxtails with tough rubberband meat on it. They are very slick because they load up the platter with rice like you are a prisoner. You walk out the establishment with the container filling heavy like you know is if there's a lot of good stuff in there and then you get home and open it up only to discover that it's only four oxtails. So I don't know who's leaving these great five-star reviews but to be honest it must be family or something. To be fair I gave them three stars but unfortunately I will not be back.
