Grassy and overgrown, a place of absolute serenity. Such a lush, verdant old raceway left to decay, and thus become a park of complete stillness and peace. Trees form an interweaving tunnel to stroll beneath. It exudes enchanted bliss.

Upper Raceway Park is a nice slice of solitude in Paterson's historic falls district. The secluded green park is nice for a walk and escaping the urban center, though it isn’t that large. The path winds along a dry canal for a quarter mile or so, then turns and runs uphill into the woods. It’s a nice place to relax and get some fresh air and nature.

Upper raceway park is located in Paterson north of grand Street and south of Paterson falls it’s located in the old Great Falls historic District which has Paterson falls the gun mil Garrett Mountain Reservation and upper Raceway Park up a raceway park has a huge reservoir that’s blocked off there’s also some sort of abandoned building in the middle of the stony Ridge Trail

Nice place to go to forget your problems.

They rode a bicycle to go up there.

So basically it's an abandoned park like no ones been here in almost 9 years it could be a chill spot if your bored

Does this place have a football field? Or a field in specific? Im new to Paterson so i would really appreciate if someone helps out

I've been here a lot times n I think is hunted no lie I got witnesses
