We went to Dahnert’s to photograph a beautiful wedding that was very down to earth. The weather and nature cooperated and the photographs came out so charming and pastoral. The whole vibe was very natural, showcasing a bohemian type of love.

I live down the street from this park and spend lots of time there. The fishing is so so. You tend to catch some of the smaller fish. The bigger ones are a little more crafty and elusive. I've seen some big carp swimming around so I know they're in there. I mostly go to the park for my photography, There's few different types of water fowl I've come across such as the typical canadian geese as well as mallard ducks. I've also seen great egrets and double crested cormorants. There's also a few blackbirds that live there. It's a nice place for wildlife photography as well as macro photography if you're into such things.

Nice place. But small, good for fishing. Kid playground is also good.

Dahnert's Lake County Park is an excellent place to enjoy outdoor activities with family and friends. As soon as you enter the park, you are surrounded by beautiful trees and a serene lake that provides a calming atmosphere. One of the main attractions of the park is the playground, which is perfect for children to burn off some energy while parents sit back and relax. The playground is equipped with swings, slides, and climbing structures, ensuring that kids of all ages have something to enjoy. The park has a well maintained hockey rink. It's a great place to practice your skills or join a pick up game. You can also bring your fishing gear and cast a line into the lake, which is stocked with trout. Another perk of this park is it's convenient location. The park is situated across the street from the library and dunkin donuts.

Great place to send time with kids. You can catch some small fish too.

Clean park, lots of different areas where to fish from, has a hockey rink (my inlines are always in my trunk), safe area.

Cute little park to come for a walk or to bring your kids

Very nice place the sit and relax. They also stock the lake with trout, bass and a few other fish so you can catch them. Good for the kids also because they have a playground and areas to have picnics

Been taking my daughter here since the spring of 2012. The playgrounds are great & well maintained and the path around the pond makes for a good stroll and/or jog. Be mindful when using the grassy areas as geese graze here regularly .

There's a really nice little park lots for kids to do.. its kept really clean beautiful lake in the middle

Live close by. Place is quiet. Amazing. Good place to relax and still see people around you. Next to the police department.

Love this park. It's great for walks/jogs around the lake. There are several benches to sit and relax and there is a children's park as well.

Beautiful place. Clean and peaceful. There is a play area for kids i didnt use it but the kids appeared to enjoy it. the only downside is the absolutely gross bathroom.

It is the most dearest parks I have been at. During the early COVID times this park was the only places we could come to and enjoy the nature. I could say it saved us during those horrific times.

This park is a lovely gem of Garfield. Not only is it extremely spacious, it also has gorgeous scenery of the water that you can just sit and watch for a relaxing day out. You are also permitted to fish in the lake, as well take in many of the park’s mini-landmarks that are scattered around the trail.

If you wanna fish somewhere don’t go there but it’s nice there
