Greenbrook Pancake House! My family and I go here a couple times a month and I promise you will not be disappointed! Each time I go my tummy is happier and happier. I don't have any pictures of the food because I eat it so fast because it's so delicious but the portion of food for the prices they charge is awesome! I'd eat here everyday if I could! I've only had breakfast food mainly pancakes and they are always light, fluffy, crispy buttery and sweet! They are a pancake house!

Omelette was on point, pancakes and toast were delicious. Much better than national pancakes chains. Food felt more organic by comparison. Hot chocolate was yummy. Reasonable pricing and excellent service.

A Gem for Breakfast Enthusiasts! Had an awesome breakfast experience at Green Brook Pancake House recently. Formerly Perkins Restaurant - it has now rebranded, but let me assure you, the quality hasn't changed a bit. Met the owner Tony, a lovely man deeply rooted in the area. His warm welcome set the tone for the entire visit. Ordered the classic eggs over easy with toast, hash browns, and bacon. Perfection on a plate! The eggs were cooked to perfection, bacon crispy, and the hash browns – oh my! The menu is expansive, featuring everything from Buttermilk Pancakes to Brioche French Toast, and they even have creative options like Boston Crepes. The cozy diner-like atmosphere adds to the charm, making it an excellent spot for a quick bite before work or a relaxed weekend brunch. The commitment of the management team for over 20 years reflects in both the food and service. Give Green Brook Pancake House a try – you won't be disappointed!

Not too sure what the craze is all about. The food is mediocre. Eggs Benedict were sloppy and the hollandaise sauce had a very strange consistency. Most importantly the tomatoes tasted off. Silver lining was that the service was pleasant.

My husband’s family and I used to eat here almost every weekend when it was Perkins. We thought the restaurant changed ownership but no: apparently it has been the same owner, just with a different name. The menu didn’t change that much and all comfort foods are still there! Anything on the menu tasted great! My husband loves their country fried steak with gravy. Their pancakes are fluffy and not dry at all. For the price, we have zero complaint. They also do a breakfast special for $6.99 before 11am on work days.

So I usually place orders for takeout on my work lunch. I've placed 150$ orders for about 8 people, and it's always ready in 20 minutes, no matter how many meals. Food is fantastic, and there's plenty of options to choose from, breakfast lunch dinner meals, anything you want, really. The biscuits are to die for.

I come here often to dine-in with my family for breakfast, brunch, or lunch. I like to try out different dishes every time if I’m feeling adventurous. I like the food here but some dishes are definitely better than others flavor-wise. Service is quick, we typically get seated within 5-10 minutes, and our food comes out pretty fast after ordering. It’s in a nice location off of route 22 with other stores nearby. Overall, good experience and worth trying.

My husband and I eat brunch here regularly on Sundays after church. The owners/managers are always friendly and welcoming and the service staff are courteous and prompt. The chef is the fastest I’ve ever observed. It’s a popular place for individuals and large families alike. The meals are generous and affordable. This is definitely a family favorite.

This place has certainly gone down in quality after they’ve changed the name. Back when it was Perkins the food was much better, now the pancakes feel as if the batter comes in bags and stored for days on end. We ordered omelettes and the cheese came on top instead of inside, the eggs were paper thin, and the breakfast potatoes felt different. Would personally recommend going to eat elsewhere.

The food was very bland and tasteless it wasn't good at all 😕 Spoke with Tony regarding how tasteless the food was on all the dishes below. Just a waste of money 💰 totally

I usually don’t order pancakes at any outside dinings but this place I love there pancakes. I come here with wife and kids atleast twice a month and the service, atmosphere and food is great. You can get a big breakfast for a great price. Sometimes there big waits but it moves really fast..I definitely recommend

Always great service and great food. Had some of the best breakfast potatoes I’ve ever had there recently. Nice and crispy on the outside, light and fluffy on the inside, nicely seasoned. Love this place.

One day I'll come for lunch but the breakfast is better than the diners. The gluten free pancakes are the best out of many I've tried and they served classic hashbrowns which is not easy to find. The coffees come in a carafe which I love. I've had their chicken fried steak with the gravy and the steak tips. Both are my favorites there. Never been disappointed and the servers are the mvps.

She is the sweetest ever, she does two bite check in’s and is always making sure you are okay. Next time you come ask for Sandra!!!

When Perkins pulled out, the management took over the lease, put their own spin on the menu, and have made GBPH my family's go-to breakfast spot. Great kids menu, top notch pancakes. Worth stopping by!

We had the Everything & Farmers Omelettes with hash browns, they were huge & delicious. They gave us as part of the meal 3 pancakes / order of omelette. We ate & had leftovers for another meal.

Love this place for brunch after church. Friendly service and old-school pancake house fare. Not the most updated interior but comfortable for a casual family outing. Good value.

This has become our breakfast spot over the last few months. Service is always great, especially with a toddler. Meals come out quickly. You get a lot of food for the price.

Pleasantly surprised. Tried something different for my birthday breakfast and just might have found my go-to breakfast spot. Prices were very fair and the portions were very generous took half of it home. I highly recommend it.

Highly recommend the cinnamon bun french toast but today we had a combo and they were super nice about us adding stuff on. The banana walnut pancakes are boss and we added a side of onions and peppers to mix into our breakfast potatoes and eggs

Jack the owner of the the establishment almost denied a service dog and treated us like garbage the entire time. I have lived in green brook my entire life this man has watched me grow up. And treated me like a piece of garbage. I was waiting in line Jack stepped over my dog pushed passed me. He said this is my establishment i can do whatever i want. When i asked him to just say excuse me. The next next I’ll be taking legal action. The discrimination we experienced today for my disability was absolutely ridiculous. Do better. We will never be back.

Been here many times...food is great, prices are great....but the cleanliness needs a little attention. Ceiling vents and tiles need cleaning....when you can actually see the accumulated dust on the ceiling, we have an issue. 5 stars to the actual diner, but 2 stars for cleanliness.

This place is amazing!!! Their food is cheap and they give a good amount. There breakfast potatoes are amazing and so are there pancakes. The food came quick and the service is great.

The best breakfast place around . Friendly and quick service. Now they added the All American breakfast special for $5.99. The best deal ever. You get 2 eggs bacon or ham or sausage, hash browns and choice of short stack of pancakes or toast. Believe it or not they have excellent dinners with very affordable prices.

  • 5/5 Kevin P. 1 year ago on Google
They have the best coffee ever. They make the best breakfast potatoes of all plainfield and the bacon it's thicker and crisper. 10/10 must visit.

Very unhappy with the service and mostly the manager on the clock. Waitress took my order and waited 20 mins to a different waitress to come back and say that they confused my order and asked me to repeat it just to make sure it was correct, waited 5 more mins and noticed my order was never placed. Asked to speak to manager and he showed no empathy at all nor even asked what happened and just said I didn’t have to pay for coffees after leaving the table. Will never be back (No stars if there was an option)
