The groomer was given clear instructions and was shown a picture of desired result, how my dog suppose to look. He gave a horrible haircut, not even close to what was desired. Additionally, there were 2 cuts on my dogs body, which are bothering here, with blood on the surface. He shaved of her eyelashes and got eye infection into her left eye. Finally, whatever soap was used gives allergic reaction not just to my dog but even to my son who pet her. Your place should be closed!!!

I went there for fish and purchased 9. Two days later half have died or are knocking on death's door. Either the associate willingly caught the sickly fish to save inventory, or they are not taken care of. Upon deeper examination I've noticed many of them have damaged fins on one side. Many of the damaged fins are unusable and as a result the fish is just suffering a slow death. Nice of Petco to pass on their dying stock to their customers instead of taking the hit. This was the first and last time I visit this location for anything.

Check your receipt twice! They double scan and scan extratimes some of the items. I asked three times to review my receipt, and also, a manager reviewed it. They argued it was correct, but it was totally wrong. I got charged a few extra dollars that I could perfectly use to get three more cans of food. There is nothing wrong with the brands you sell, but customers deserve more transparency and respect.

well this is my first time at Petco and I actually liked ,the location the items were pricey but it was a fun experience I also learned of a new product . there which was awesome I couldn't believe how good this product was. Just Food For Dogs is the product and my puppy loves it

We randomly came to this Petco over yr ago and met Richard the trainer. He gave us a few helpful tips, personable, and our pup liked him. We didn't sign up for training sessions then but when we got our second pup we thought of Richard instantly! Unfortunately, Richard wasn't available for training sessions but Eve was. We were hesitant at first but Eve was amazing! Eve was so helpful in getting us signed up for private group sessions with both our pups. We did alot of our own training by watching videos but Eve was able to help us focus on perfecting some of our commands. She also recommended the Pet Corrector after we mentioned that our pups bark alot when outside. It's def helped them calm down which is great! If you're looking for an effective pet trainer for your pup I'd def recommend Eve. Just know you have to put in the work when home for the sessions to be helpful! On our final session for graduation, Eve provided us these cute cap and gowns for pictures, she has them in all sizes :)! Overall, this Petco is pretty well-stocked and associates are helpful.

They didn't have some items I needed.

They lack a bunch of animals in this store and most of the reptile supplies are out of stock and meals worms have a 95% chance of being dead. However I’ve been there a lot and they do clean cages pretty well! They have a wide variety of fish too.

I love the new renovations at this Petco location. Store employees are friendly and helpful. I also have been grooming my dog here for 4 years and appreciate the great work done by Joe.

I had a terrible experience at another pet store In which my baby was injured. Thankfully my sister recommended me to petco. I gave my trust with Jose and he has definitely made my baby comfortable while getting his bath and haircut. My baby no longer shakes. He is a happy puppy. Jose always goes above and beyond for my Chuy. I can't thank him and petco enough for the care they provide to my furbaby.

For different reasons I couldn't visit Petco for a few months, but even if this is another location, they make me feel so comfortable and give me all the information I need for my little dog. So happy to get there and I will definitely will go again with my Monty, my dog, so he can get the grooming service.

Petco in Totowa is the only place I will go to for Dog Grooming. Joseph is an excellent groomer and genuinely cares about each dog he sees.

Glad to finally find a pet store that had betta fish! I was looking for quite awhile and every PetSmart or other pet store was sold out or had not received a shipment in months. I was able to find a beautiful baby boy betta and He seems to be doing great. I honestly have no idea how they keep the water so clean in there cups as it looked crystal clear.

I took my puppy two weeks ago for grooming. I really trusted them with her but we ended up taking her to the vet after they cut a piece of her ear and was bleeding. I also saw they shaved a part of her body too much that her skin is visible. Never again taking her there. I appreciate them taking her to the emergency after they cut a piece of her ear but it was two things her ear and her skin being visible.

I came into the Totowa Petco store picking up food for my dog Belle. Emily at the counter was so very helpful had problem getting my rewards. Helped me established coConnect my pals reward using the app. app. Emily asked if I wanted a picture of Belle with it, pulled one out of my photos on my phone and attached it. It was nice to have a young girl so willing to help a stranger out. I truly am grateful that she was there that day and did all that she did for me and BELLE. Very happy customer.

All sales peolpe like 5 of them, were all friendly and helpful! Brought a online purchase in to return that was too big for our dog they returned it no problem showed us where the coats were and helped. Then as we walked around the store to make sure our dog would walk in it ok. Another friendly sales person helped us with any other questions we had!! I started off doing delivery to home for the discount but seen the discount to pick up was better. 2/3 times I ordered for pickup 30 to 40 minutes of picking up. Every time I get to the location to pick up, my order is never ready. What's the point of placing an order early to still wait 10-15 minutes when the order should be ready.

Nicolette has been grooming our German Shepherd, Bibi for over 3 years now. Another girl was “scared” of Bibi but she just didn’t understand that shepherds are territorial naturally. Nicolette stepped right in, gave Bibi an amazing bath and we’ve stuck with her ever since. Book with Nicolette if your dog is anxious about grooming, she’s the greatest and she’s always busy so book in advance. Thank you Nicolette for always caring for Bibi. We always joke (but seriously) if Nicolette ever left we’d have to leave too. Best groomer ever.

I was banned from online grooming appointments because apparently my dog is categorized as especial, this alone is extremely frustrating for me because they don’t pick up the phone, you basically you have to go personally to make an appointment which is ridiculous. To remedy this I made the following appointment personally right when I took my dog for his bath, basically a month in advance. Then one week before the appointment they text me “your appointment was canceled, we’ll call you soon to reschedule”. I’d like to know what is going on? This looks like you guys don’t want to take my dog. What is really happening? This is frustrating.

It was my first time here so I'm not sure how it would be on any other given day but, the store was a mess. Nothing was tidy or easy to find. There were only 3 or 4 people that possibly worked there, I wasn't sure. No one greeted us or asked if we needed assistance after we wandered around the store for almost 20 minutes trying to find products for our new kittens. We didn't find everything we needed here so we are going to try PetSmart tomorrow.
