I hope I don’t get anybody in trouble for this review, but I am currently at this location on a business trip where I am required to leave the hotel by 6:30 AM in the morning and not returning until 10:00 PM at night. I am quite literally only here to sleep. I came back from my job at 10:11PM to find the hotel bar kitchen closed and was sad, but as someone who works in the food industry as well, I understood and didn’t (and wasn’t) going to make a stink about it. The bartender asked about my day and I explained to him the situation of me leaving so early and returning so late, he then INSISTED I tell him what food item off of the menu I wanted. He then verbally told the chef what I wanted, asked what I would like to drink, and then proceeded to tell me both drink and meal were on the house because I, “deserve a break after a 15 hour day”. He was so incredibly attentive, and brought me another without me having to ask. Truly so incredible and I’ve been doing these business trips for 5 years (sometimes at other Marriott locations) and he was the first and only to be so attentive and welcoming. I am so lucky that the company I work for booked me at this location! Thank you so much for showing me some genuine hospitality.

It looks like your typical Marriot, clean rooms, large entrance hall, bar, lounge ample parking. My issue is that this place has no electric vehicle chargers which I feel is a must for any new construction. This hotel was built in 2018 and they put no electric vehicle chargers? How is the world meant to transition to electric vehicles, when new hotels don't care enough to include doors with that included? Also for a new construction I was surprised at how paper thin the walls were at I could hear other rooms every night. Not the same ones so you could day I just had lots neighbors. Different people at different times. Finally I have pictures of how the outlets next to the night stands just come straight up.. They aren't fixed in the stands or anything. That is poor workman ship. Overall it is clean and looks good, so if those details don't bother you, your stay will be great. However I can't give a higher rating to a place that isn't trying better.

I travel often for work and stayed one night at this location. I will not be staying at this location again. The room did not seem clean particularly in the bathroom. The refrigerator did not work which was a disappointment as I have a special diet so I must pack my food on the go. I should have taken pictures to go with my review to show the lack of cleanliness of the bathroom. The shower had black splatters on it. I thought maybe it was just stained but it removed easily when scrapped with my fingernail. Gross. The sink had an old dried contact lens front and center. The floor was sticky so I had to throw a towel down to avoid walking on whatever that was. Overall, this isn’t what I would expect from a Marriott establishment. I will not return or recommend this location.

Stayed at the Courtyard Marriott Wayne Fairfield overnight for a wedding at the Grove. Hotel is very nice, perfect location (especially when my husband had to run across to Bloomingdales because he forgot his cuff links), the staff is welcoming and helpful, the shuttle to/from the venue was perfect, and the room was clean except for the carpet... There was a sort of weird tacky residue all over. I don't mean a gross or dirty kind. It's almost like the room was recently washed and they used too much soap (or maybe it needs to be washed - who knows). It didn't smell (and it's not like I'm sleeping on or eating off the floor) so it wasn't a big deal.

I stayed one night for a wedding and the service was AMAZING. Ever since covid, the quality in hospitality has been abysmal (in my opinion). During my stay Mr. Sameh Michael helped trouble shoot and made sure my stay was very comfortable. For instance, I was able to get a very early check in (much needed for the wedding festivities) and even helped to change my room in the middle of the night with no problems at all. There was also a question of wedding guests safety coming back from the venue very late and the night team at the hotel (at around 1-2am), contacted transportation, and ensured our safe arrival. They even offered to stay on the phone with us until we arrived. They really went above and beyond for our stay. All of this, on top of a clean, updated room made our stay excellent. Definitely recommend.

This hotel is in a great location, clean and nice. Rooms and bathrooms are spacious and the common areas are bright and welcoming. Had no issues during the stay and would return. One quibble: upon checking in and checking out, neither of the front desk clerks seemed to be in the hospitality business with no common courtesies such as a smiling welcome or a "thank you for staying with us." When checking in I was not acknowledged as a Titanium member and had to correct the clerk that my breakfast was free. Both transactions felt more like it they were taking place at the post office. In other words, the hotel needs to do a better job at training their front desk staff on how to better communicate with guests. At the breakfast, the 2 guys working behind the counter could not have been any nicer or helpful (they get that they are in the hospitality business!).

I’d like to start by saying that I have been a frequent customer at multiple Marriott locations and I have always enjoyed my visit. This visit has been totally appalling. I called for room service and requested for water to be brought to my room and I quote “ can I have some waters brought up to my room” and a employee named aubrey said “ hold your breath” I replied with “Excuse me” and his final reply was “go down and get it yourself”. Understand that I ordered water previously and other staff brought it up no questions asked. I ultimately went downstairs to go “ go get it myself” and upon going downstairs for it, Mr.aubrey was downstairs and I asked him (in front of another employee named John) what his last last name was because I had full intentions of reporting the incident. He said my name is “bad boy” this individual is awful as a human and has no regard for the paying customers or a care in the world to represent this company in any way that he is paid to do. He had no intentions of apologizing, resolving the issue or even trying to be civil. Aubrey is hostile, disrespectful and seriously needs to be replaced. I would like to speak to someone directly about this.

Very nice and clean. A little hard to find due to the multiple corporate parking lots you need to navigate through, otherwise great location and staff was great..

A good place to stay for business travel. It is on the side of a highway so not a lot to do with out driving somewhere. Clean rooms and nice staff.

I am titanium elite member at Bonvoy. Never seen courtyard like this . First room smelled weed, second room with crazy sound every 30 seconds even walls are vibrating. Had to check out at the middle of the night . This hotel shouldn’t be even on the list at bonvoy app.

Wort customer service I have ever encountered. I will mention his names a few times based on the severe lack of respect the front desk associate has. His Name is Mohamed he will not attempt to assist you in any way. We were up here for a hockey game with my two children. We booked our room through Marriot did an online check in, we arrive at the hotel around 11:30 for him to tell us the hotel was over booked and they don’t have a room or reservation for us. We are hours from our home with two kids. Mohamed told us good luck he can’t or won’t do anything for us.we assist in another hotel and that we are on our own. Mohamed said he was done for the night, but yet he stayed another 30 min counting money. He had nothing but smug looks and attitude and gave no consideration towards the customer. Not to mention the snarky comments he would make toward us while we try and find a room and my kids basically falling asleep on the chairs in the lobby. If you are ever looking for assistance or customer support steer clear as you won’t get it from him.

The hotel is nice, the staff was really nice and helpful as well. It's quite pricey for the accommodations offered. The location is quiet but it's very secluded so if you don't have a car, I would recommend bringing food/beverages or prepare to order food/eat at the bistro which is open until 10:30 am then opens up again at 3:30.

Went here for a corporate event. Conference room was clean and main lobby staff was very kind to us. From areas I could see, property seemed cleaned and well maintained. I would stay here without worry.

Didn’t get anything close to the rooms we booked. Booked two rooms as king rooms and never told they wouldn’t be king rooms or that they would be on diff floors. I know a bunch of weddings stay here but a heads up would be nice. Weird location tho it’s hidden in a business park.

Came here for a bachelorette party stay and we had a pleasant experience. The rooms are very clean and modern. The courtyard is really nice! However one of the employees was a bit rude over the phone. Thankfully the other employees were not like that so we ignored that moment and enjoyed the rest of our time!

Me and another coworker was working in Paterson New Jersey. We were told one price of $179 per night then asked for a receipt. He said it would be processed overnight and we can get one in the morning before we leave well after we got the receipt the following morning got the receipt it was $340. The manager strictly disregarded us and lied about the price for what reason I do not know maybe because we were from out of town We stayed at the La Quinta hotel and paid $231.00 for 2 nights a couple days before…. also, it was a single bed room which the room was hearing impaired. We had people ringing a bell at our door hours to the light must’ve had a big party, considering we were working 15 hour days trying to support a family with five kids going miles for work, and being stuck in a vantage of not about the money it’s the principle, I would like so when you get back in touch with me my name is Mike Marko, I see on 19 November till the 20th…. after work on Sunday, we stopped back at the hotel. No manager was present. They said for us to get in touch with corporate. Still haven’t heard back. Also tried calling multiple times no answers please have someone give us a call. Thank you.

For 200$ a night it was not all that. We thank the kind lady at the front desk for accommodating us the best that she could, putting my sister’s birthday cake in their freezer for us, letting us know what’s open, etc. The rooms were clean, but that’s where the positives end. We reserved 2 rooms and we called in advance for the pool hours and staff had told us it was 24 hrs AND currently in service which is why we picked this hotel (it was for a small birthday weekend.) When we arrived at 7:30 we were told the hours are 8-8 and it’s currently closed. There was a notice at the pool stating it was under maintenance for the next 2 hours, the next day, the same notice was up with another saying it’s out of service. **Our tv also had no signal so we had to go into our friends’ room to get some entertainment. Hotel pics aren't everything, lesson learned.

Great hotel and employees are awesome! I needed somewhere to stay at 5am on Sunday morning after a horrific experience at another hotel. The front desk attendant was very helpful and allowed me to do an early check-in. I needed to stay one more night as I was going home on Monday. I was only charged for one night. I highly recommend this hotel as it has great amenities as well.

Rooms look nice but too many things weren't working properly- tv, heating. Then the maid tried to come in twice, early in the morning. without even knocking when do not disturb sign was up.

Let me start with the room was great. The check in was a disaster. I arrived 3 am , my plane was delayed by 4 hours. I had two reservations back to back. I had called ahead of time to ask if I could stay in sane room for my total of 4 day stay. The gentleman I talked to said no problem just tell them when you check in. Well that was a disaster. The girl had no idea how to this. She called someone from the back to help her. They asked for my credit card for payment. I told them to use the one on file. They said I needed to swipe the card. Ok no problem. But then they said I needed to pay for a deposit. Ok. No problem. I used a different credit card for this. Some how the charge was for a room stay and not a deposit. So I paid once for one night and then I paid for 4 nights . In my book that's 5 nights. I only stayed 4 nights. I've been fighting with the hotel for over a month now to refund my charge for one night. They can't seem to find this charge but funny how corporate can see it. They refuse to refund my money. So my advice is watch your bank statements cause they rip people off then say they can't find your charge. I've tried many time to call and speak to the manager Valerie but she always seems to be in a meeting. Hmm? Buyer beware.

Worst ever Marriott experience! Didn’t realized some brands under the name of Marriott has deteriorated to such low level. They changed the housekeep policy towards “if you don’t request it, we won’t do it”. I think that’s fine. But even after you requested, they still wouldn’t do it. The service request function at the Bonvoy app looks like a nice gesture but doesn’t work AT ALL. I will definitely reconsider my loyalty towards Marriott-branded hotels going forward.

The evening bar tender was great and the bed was comfortable but everything else was bad. No one told us about breakfast so we had to pay for it from the cafe. When we ordered from the cafe our food never came out because they forgot to put the order in. Another friendly guest brought us food form the continental breakfast. What the heck? The front desk didn’t explain anything and there was never a person there. They also gave me wrong info when I booked the room. We didn’t stay the second night because I was having labor pains and no one offered us a refund. This was understandable but with everything else just rubbed me the wrong way.

Two forms of GPS may be necessary in finding this property! Why on Earth would they build a hotel buried behind office complexes, I don't know. But, if you find it, a decent hotel! Like all Courtyards, no included breakfast, everything comes at a price. The room was nice, but my problem with this hotel is the location. If you want to go out to eat, you will need a car as this place is the last stop on the tracks, surrounded by offices and highways. No good walking available. Doubt we would stay here again. Good if you work in the nearby offices.

The evening bartender was a solid 5 - kind, friendly, efficient and attentive. The front desk worker was disappointing because of some billing errors and because he would not split incidentals off of a company card and put them on my card. Despite several requests he refused and told me it was not possible. After checking out, I called back and was able to do it over the phone with him. Frustrating. Also, lighting in the rooms was poor and unlike the photos presented. Really good food too. In fact, everyone in the restaurant was fantastic.
