Price/ quality wise a very good spot. The rooms are spacious and fairly clean. First night we had a broken bed and loud neighbors, hotel staff did their upmost best to accommodate us and make things right. Manager is incredible good at her job. This hotel served its purpose and knows how to handle their guests. Biggest comment is the pool, that could us a proper cleaning.

Affordable and comfortable place to stay on business. Its not fancy but has the comforts of home you would expect to find. The cleaning service does a great job and the free breakfast is okay. I've stayed in some that were worse and some that were better. Highlights are ; the staff is friendly and helpful , the building could use some work and a 20oz drink is almost 4 dollars at the desk, also there's some remodeling going on so there construction materials everywhere.

This hotel is popular for NYC visitor from other states. I’m local but occasionally visit hotel just have weekends fun with children. Good thing swimming pool is big and warm. Staffs are kind. Location is one of the pros too. You can visit one of the biggest and finest malls within 5 mins. There are 3 malls in the range including outlets. Great place to stay.

I religiously read reviews before I go somewhere. I was a little skeptical to drive from MA to NJ with some of these reviews and the facility being under construction. However, when I got here the construction was barley noticeable. There was some base boards missing and a dumpster in the front but business as usual. There wasn’t any odor or dust in sight. As for the room, I was pleasantly surprised. Someone wrote a review about bed bugs. I’m unclear how that was even possible. The mattress looked new. I inspected the entire room with my phone flashlight because I’m a super clean freak. It was spotless other than someone put a piece of gum in the crack on the head board on the bed. I’ll assume it was a child. I loved that there was a huge couch on one side of the room and the big king bed on the other. The front desk staff were young but very personable. They also handed me a sheet which I believe was from the management and it listed all the amenities. I thought that was so helpful especially being out of town. They have a cute little station at the front with delicious snacks and beverages as well. The only reason I don’t give it 5 stars is because there was a $100 card hold for potential damages. In MA it’s usually $50. But if folks treated hotels with respect maybe they wouldn’t do a card hold at all! I also feel it would’ve been nice to know the hotel was under construction so I could’ve made an informed decision. I only learned of the construction through reading reviews. I booked through Expedia so I can’t really say it’s the Hotel’s fault. Expedia should really know what they’re advertising and therefore advertise accurately. But overall it’s lovely and my daughter and I have a nice place to stay while we visit Nickelodeon Universe.

Apparently this hotel was just renovated however, I think they could have taken a bit more time to think of how to make it great. The room was nice, good size, but lacking. No microwave (I don't think I've ever not had a microwave in a hotel room), the bathroom is tiny and not well thought out. You cannot sit on the toilet and close the door. It just seems like they put as much stuff into the space as they could but placement just seems awkward. The bed is lumpy and not supportive. This was the worst part. I generally like a more firm bed but this was just uncomfortable for anyone. Hallways were loud late into the night plus lots of road noise from the highway. Free breakfast but not enough seating for a busy hotel. Decent food. The staff was friendly. The pool was closed. 24hr gym has some treadmills and ellipticals as well as some free weights. Generally just lacking all around. Probably wouldn't stay here again.

The rooms are good but the road noise is insane. If you’re unlucky enough to get a road facing room floor 2 and above, good luck sleeping. They could mitigate it with a sound wall near the road, but they don’t care about your experience vs. spending a marginal one time construction cost.

The was the nicest and lowest priced hotel I’ve ever been too (though I’m not all that traveled). I have never seen a hotel room with a mini living room in it and breakfast was so fresh. I’ve never seen a yogurt pair before either

My family and I planned to stay two nights, but were forced to check out early. On the second night, we noticed a mold-like substance on the inside of the comforter. It covered the whole comforter. We did not notice it the previous night because the mold-like substance is only visible underneath the comforter when illuminated by the TV light. The maintenance worker who came to inspect the comforter said "the comforters are old" with a straight face as if the filth was acceptable for an establishment charging $250+ per night. I was disgusted. The front desk staff moved us to another room. The sheets were even worse. There were crumbs and what appeared to be a bedbug under the sheets. We were mortified so we took pictures and checked out immediately. I felt horrible leaving while all the other guests had no idea what filth they slept in. I have stayed at the Hyatt in many states and have never experienced anything like this. Also, there was a sign in the parking lot that read "Park at your own risk". We should have left then. It was a clear sign that this hotel is not for traveling families.

Staff were amazing as usual. The one star is for the staff. Hotel is under construction. Looks like a medieval murder scene. Smelly rooms and stinky breakfast. It was giving weird vibez. On the middle of a highway (partly my own fault on that, need to improve my map skills). Didn’t correctly take my deposit on the card on hold. Then explained to me in American why they did that. Overall, worst Hyatt. Stay in a motel, it’s better.

The room smelled so bad of cigarette smoke; even though, it was non-smoking. They switched our rooms, and the smell was a lot better although the hotel is really run-down. We booked a staycation so that our girls could enjoy the pool. We called before to make sure the pool was open and they assured us that it was, but once we got there they said it was closed for renovations.

Stayed there for 1 Night, Hotel is right next to a very busy and loud Street. Windows do not block any noise. Room was not properly cleaned, Bed Sheets and Towels were dirty. Mattress was a Catastrophe, felt like being on a Rollercoaster when lying down.

This was by far our favorite Hyatt on our trip. The rooms are always consistent at Hyatt. What made the difference was the staff. Excellent breakfast buffet each day. Consistently had great coffee (strong but not too strong) and the management had the best set up with 3 different coffee stations with all the supplies needed so multiple people can get coffees at the same time. They were always restocking items so you rarely waited for anything. They also consistently had oatmeal, yogurt, and fresh fruit cut up and added blueberries and other fresh fruit. They did the best job of rotating the warm breakfast items as well. The staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was kept clean while we stayed for the week. Hyatt should use this hotel as example for others.

The staff is amazing! Everyone was so helpful, they would go out of the way to help me out! The room was perfect, I went there to take my exam and as I had requested I was given the exact room, rather better! Everyone was so cooperative all along. Tanisha was the best there, she and Justin were always a great help to me and made the best coffee for me. I highly recommend this place, it’s amazing. Had the best experience with hyatt till date.

Hotel itself is great; love the Hyatt Place brand. Main issue is the location; so difficult getting into and out of the parking lot from and to the highway.

So not only was I charged an additional $392.56 their was black mold in the bathroom the room was in shambles ripped rug tore up and chewed bathroom door. Room smelled so musty I had to get air fresheners and now I have a sinus infection from the mold. Happy holidays to me thanks for a terrible stay.

Stayed here twice in one week. This review takes into account both experiences. In a nutshell... Amenities: A+ Staff: A+ Room: A- The details... If a complimentary (hot) breakfast is a must-have, this is the hotel for you! Very nice variety of hot and cold foods that would meet almost anyone's dietary needs/preferences. The fitness center was adequate. The pool was relatively large, ranged from 3 - 5 feet in depth, and was equipped with a lift. The hotel also has a "kitchen" (not a restaurant) for afternoon/evening meals, as well as some pre-packaged sandwiches/snacks available at the front desk. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. There were plenty of outlets/usb charging areas, and the wet bar area in addition to the desk was a nice touch! However, the toilet/shower area was tiny (the door actually hit the toilet seat in one of our rooms). Our room on the 3rd floor was very well maintained. The 2nd floor room looked slightly run-down; not bad, just not quite as spiffy as our previous room. The staff was amazing! They went out of their way to accommodate our large extended family during a very difficult time. We will definitely stay here again!

The room is a great size, the first room we had smelled bad. It smelled like an attempt to cover up a smoke smell. The second room was better but the toilet doesn't flush, looks like the hotel needs to do a better job of checking and maintaining the rooms.

This hotel really isn't that bad, I wanted to book it for 6 days for my birthday vac... main reason why I booked this hotel was for the pool and fitness room, the fitness room was small but very doable. The pool area was closed for maintenance I guess, but we wasn't told that when booking the hotel qe was told the pool was working. When we got here we called and the kind lady at the front desk told us it been closed for about 3/2 weeks now ... our room on the 2cd floor facing the highway so we couldnt sleep much, you can hear every car going by... But rooms wasn't to bad very spacious....

This property quality has definitely decreased… stayed here about 9 years ago and it was very nice. The quality of the rooms are cheap. The mattresses are sup par and old. For this area it is surprising… the good thing is the staff is very nice and helpful. And the hotel and rooms are clean.

Overall, stay was okay. It could have been worse. We stayed here for three nights and had two rooms. AC wouldn’t function properly in both rooms. We did reach out to management for different rooms but they couldn’t accommodate. Instead, we were offered one night free. Breakfast was decent. The lobby did have a strange smell but it wasn’t in the rooms. Heads up, the hotel is right off the highway so it was dangerous getting out.

So I've stayed here a few times over the last couple of years for events and visiting my parents. Each time, it has been a painless and mostly graceful experience. The staff are always kind, considerate, and often go out of their way to help make my stay a pleasant one. This is above par for virtually every other hotel I've stayed at in the area. They almost always have fresh drinks, snacks, and they have a decent breakfast. My last trip was comfortable, painless, and I got some great sleep. One incident in particular... I arrived back to the hotel after spending the day with my parents in-town... and all of the handicap spots were taken. I use a van with a wheelchair ramp, since I'm wheelchair bound, and require an access lane or risk being blocked from my vehicle when I need to use it again. SO I went inside and talked to the handsome gentleman at the front desk. The other customer who took the last spot spoke up and offered to move, but he was also disabled, so that didn't seem fair to them. I asked the gentleman at the front desk instead to place a couple of those cones they use to block off spots (for construction etc) to block the lane next to my van which would resolve the whole situation. He happily and expediently obliged. I WILL be staying here in the future, and if you want a pleasant and relatively painless stay in the area, I recommend this location. The ONLY con: Just below lit mirror in the bedroom, above the sink's backsplash, the cleaning staff seem to miss that spot, and it accumulates a bit of ick. Other than that, the room was essentially pristine.

Been staying here for couple weeks everything was nice. Staff was super friendly and everyone loved my emotion support dog. It wasn’t until I met Alyssa that my stay here turned. She was inconsiderate and said I should have been charged for my dog the whole time I was there. Beside her I enjoyed my stay.

I checked in your hotel Hyatt place last night (1/18), which I paid and booked thru Hyatt app. Your front desk asked me to swipe my credit card to pay 2 nights immediately. While I told him that I paid when I booked, he still insisted that I need to pay immediately. I started to check my banking account and found out there was one night fee pending already, then he checked his computer again, told me to cancel the payment and I’m all set. Now I see the amount your front desk asked me to pay for last night pop up on my credit card as pending. Lots of on the floor within the front desk top and room smells. It’s very frustrating, unprofessional and unpleasant.

This place was wonderful, not talking about the building or rooms itself but the customer service was amazing. The Manager was wonderful with making sure my payment was processed correctly and the beautiful young lady with the locs was so kind and patient with my family. I will definitely stay here again.

The staff was nice, but that doesn't make up for the fact that the room smelled, the bathroom had mold in every corner, and none of the dishes were clean during the breakfast hours. This is also right off the freeway and hard to get into and out of. Will be looking somewhere else next time.

I've give 3 stars on the location due to entry and exit. If you don't know where the entrance is you could very easily miss it. Leaving isn't much easier. I'm surprised the town approved this arrangement. The location itself gives easy access to 208, 287, 17 and 4. So those are excellent. 80 and the GSP are also close by. The location is currently undergoing lobby renovations. So you should consider that as well. Breakfast is served buffet style and is available by 6:30 am. Another plus if you are an early riser.

Clean and friendly staff. Breakfast was ...well hotel breakfast.... however it wasn't too terrible. We slept well. No noise and Its at a convenient location. I'll be back.

The hotel is dated and some of the front desk staff were unfriendly and generally unhelpful during our stay. We were also checked into a room that either hadn't been cleaned or had been used by staff as a lounge or something and had to be moved which made us late for an appointment. The location is convenient, but the small sign and entry made it hard to find at first.

Told it was being refurbished clearly, not my rooms 1st smelled like smoke , I was told smoking wasn't allowed. Presumably, the previous occupants didn't get that memo. They were really nice and moved me to a different room it was shabby but very clean. The bed was surprisingly comfortable. Breakfast wasn't elaborate, but it was satisfying. The coffee was hot.

Guy checking us in had attitude but everyone else was sweet. Place was being renovated so it was a bit inconvenient. It should have been reflected in hotel stay price. The rooms itself were neat but the bathroom in the king size room is tiny. The door almost comes in contact with the toilet. My mom's room had a BIG spider 🕷 in there. I was very disappointed they didn't have a waffle or pancake maker but breakfast was OK. My son who loves eggs knew for sure them weren't real eggs and refused to eat it. The pool was the best thing in the hotel. Nice and warm and decent sized.

I would give this hotel more stars but my room windows were looking to very high traffic highway, at night a little too noisy for me. Otherwise, check in was easy, room is spacious and clean. Continental breakfast is included .

My wife and I stayed Nov 10 - Nov 13 and experienced exceptional service from all staff members and enjoyed our stay. The first room assigned to us had issues with the A/C. We called the front desk and within 5 minutes a staff member arrived at the 4th floor with new keys for a different room. I wish I can remember this gentlemen's name, but he was very professional and apologetic for the inconvenience. This is my second stay at this hotel and will stay again. Thanks to the staff for making our stay enjoyable.

Overall just a dirty room, some lights straight up didn’t work, and the entertainment box for the tv was gouged out of the wall. Also I’ve traveled a lot during COVID and after, and this is the first time I’ve ever smelled chemicals no matter where I went in this building. The entire hotel simply didn’t smell right at all.

  • 1/5 Kunal K. 1 year ago on Google
I was assigned to a dirty room 110. It had a bad smell and toilet bowl was not clean. Room was changed later to a different floor. Dishes were not properly clean for breakfast and food was pretty average. Location is right off of the free way which makes it really difficult to merge without a detour. Most of the times it was difficult to find front desk person if you need help.

Let me start by honoring the staff all of them are attentive however the young lady with the blonde hair is amazing. Sadly, I forgot to ask her name. Justin wow I mean he knows what customer service is all about !! Always ready to help. The gentleman that is in the desk after 11 o clock my god he has all the patience in the world. I was standing observing while I waited my turn he explained incidental charges about six times without attitude. The hotel is under renovations I even forgot about that because customer service was above and beyond! The pool is so clean and clear! Overall thank you for the accommodations I did my daughters birthday slumber party here and all the children had a blast!

Friendly staff and very good free breakfast for the price. Thanksgiving week and still cheap for a Hyatt. We knew there would be renovations before booking so absolutely no complaints! Heating system in our room works very well.
