Real friendly, small restaurant with a nice number of booths, tables , and counter service. Nothing fancy but good food at reasonable prices. Have been eating here off and on for the past 10 years. Love their breakfast specials (great home fries with onions ) and also their grilled chicken sandwiches for lunch. Family friendly atmosphere. Weather permitting, there's an outdoor eating area in the rear.You can park on the street in front or in the lot behind as it has a rear entrance.

Never noticed this place and I've been in this area since 1989! You really miss it, if you are not looking for it. Tried it for lunch and it was very good. Most people seemed to be ordering breakfast type foods but I got a Philly Cheesesteak and Cheese fries (I had a craving). Both were very good. The Philly Cheesesteak was NOT a traditional Philly Cheesesteak of thinly sliced steak meat .. but more like a strip steak that was cut up into smaller chunks and then put on a round kaiser roll. Still, it was good and the portions were decent. The fries did NOT come with the sandwich so lunch, including coffee was $20, not including tip. Still, it was good and the burgers I saw looked delicious, too so I'll have to come back and try a few different things. I don't think there was any salt on the fries, which I could have added myself - but didn't. Hey, I'm trying to eat healthy haha. Loved the the old-school diner atmosphere and also the classic rock from the 70's playing (I'm old!). Only one cook and a waitress but it wasn't a long wait. The cook was moving very fast and I was impressed with his skills. He was working his tail off. I sat at the counter but there are several booths, too. Haven't seen the outdoor seating yet. I come here because it makes me feel at home. They are not only the best short order cooks in Fair Lawn, they are truly good quality people!!! If they make you wait a long time to order or to give you the check, it's only because they like you more! And they like keeping those types of people around. I moved from Fair Lawn a while ago. But I still keep coming back once a week. It keeps me centered.

This is my favorite eatery in New Jersey!! A hidden gem! The food, the crew, the true intimate cafe experience! Coming here is like a mini-vacation from reality. Here, you are treated like family and they remember your name!! The real home cooking is exceptional, the prices are fair for the generous portions and the atmosphere, indoor and out, is lovely. A great spot for a garden party, shower, or friend- to-gether! The pride this family exudes in every aspect of this business makes every guest feel like the only guest in house, even on their busiest of days. Be here!

Go to Benny's Luncheonette instead of here. The GOOD: -Food was decently tasty. -Service was borderline adequate. The BAD: -Portions are quite small for price and in comparison to diners and great places like Benny's. -The dish my wife ordered was supposed to have been served on focaccia bread. When her plate came, it was clearly a kaiser roll and when she asked about it, the waiter said no that's focaccia bread and we just laughed out loud. Please don't lie to us or treat us like we're ignorant. Just say, "so sorry but we ran out" and all would've been fine.

Cute-ish place,server very nice & thank goodness he was educated on the "old menu" you see posted online,that's how I got my DaVinci burrito😁,was Pretty good,generous-ish portion & potatoes were perfect,as you can see my s.o.' strawberry cream? French toast was good,but also TOO SMALL for a big guy,it's similar to COMFI ,located in south jersey,but sorry,Fisher's NOT nearly as generous on French toast and you need to either change website menu or get new ones done.

Great little place!! We were greeted the second we opened the door, seated immediately, drinks came out fast, very attentive staff. Food was fantastic, we were fighting over the last bite of the Chunky Monkey pancakes. Luckily I didn't have to share my Eggs Novascotia, which were delicious -- both eggs were actually poached correctly [I know, so simple but for some reason still hard to find, lol], and even the potatoes were great. I basically licked the plate.

September 2 2023 Chunky Monkey Pancakes were delicious!!! Eggs Nova Scotia Benedict was delicious!!! The Fancy Bagel with nova, onions, and capers was delicious!! Everything was delicious 😋 Thank you!!! We Will be back here again in a day or two!! Really made my day brighter!

Love eating here. Whether it’s breakfast, lunch or dinner. Staff is super friendly and family owned. I ordered a simple yet great tasting breakfast. Taylor ham is on point. Would def recommend. 👍🏻

I came here for breakfast, there was quite a bit of a wait because they were understaffed but the food was good. I imagine under normal circumstances, it’s a pleasant place to dine. The outdoor is nice.

This was a great surprise. We we going to do the same old diner after church, but decided on trying something different. Googled it ...and came up with this place. EXCELLENT IDEA! Great! Food! Great! Service! Beautiful outside seating....We will be back!

LOVE THIS PLACE ! I feel like everyone wants to go to a place that is on the downlow and not huge. This place is it! The owners were super genuine and the bbq breakfast burger and fries were heavenly you can tell that the quality of the meat was great too. This is definitely my new favorite place to eat in town 100 percent recommend !

Mother's Day meant our regular 45 minute visit to Fisher's became 90 minutes due to the crowd. Yet, the staff still did their best and the food was still tasty and the coffee hot. We love the local nature of this place. It is not a NJ dinner, but a true breakfast cafe serving eggs, bacon, pancakes, etc - all quick and all prepared to your liking.

BYO, adorable outside patio seating, staff is so pleasant, food was excellent and you can’t beat the price. Would definitely recommend this spot for a date or just a solo Saturday morning brunch :) will definitely be back. Thanks for the awesome Spanish omelette!

I've been waiting to try this place and it did not disappoint! I got the corn beef hash and swiss omelette and wings for my son. Both were fantastic. Will be back!
