I called them to book a 30-minute sauna session as the website instructed to call for an appointment. The person I spoke to (I don't know his name) was extremely RUDE. When I inquired about the price, he responded aggressively, saying, 'Just check our website! I'm busy now,' and then hung up. I only asked about the sauna price, and the interaction left me with a negative impression. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this place due to the poor customer service experience. Yes, it appears that your educational background might be limited, and it seems you lack an understanding of what customer service entails. It's quite disheartening that a business owner, such as yourself, contributes to disrupting the town's culture. Effective communication and a focus on customer satisfaction are essential for maintaining a positive community atmosphere. Perhaps taking the time to invest in improving these aspects of your business could lead to a more harmonious relationship with the local community. I can definitely tell by reading all the reviews from other customers. I'm so glad that I decided not to visit and saved my money! 😉

We went to the sauna yesterday. It has many different rooms such as wet room, turkish steam room, aroma sauna, dry sauna. It has a large pool and jacuzzi, and even relaxation room. That is great. But service in the dining room could be much better. We had to wait for food almost an hour. We has got 4 plates for 10 people. Nobody cleans tables,ee has to put awsy our dirty plates. Also a big disapointment expected us at the end in the changing room. There were no hot water. We couldnt even take a shower after all sweating in the sauna. I think this place could use an improvement.

BRC is an absolutely incredible spa that offers a wide range of amenities to ensure a truly rejuvenating experience. With three different types of dry spas, you'll have plenty of options to choose from based on your preferences. Whether you're looking for a sauna, steam room, or infrared therapy, BRC has got you covered. And let's not forget about their wet spa, which features a luxurious Jacuzzi and a refreshing pool where you can unwind and soak up the tranquility. The cherry on top is their extensive menu of delicious food and drinks, allowing you to indulge in some well-deserved treats during your visit. Oh, and did I mention the ample parking available? No need to stress about finding a spot. So go ahead, treat yourself to a day of pampering at BRC and let all your worries melt away. You deserve it!

Spa is located almost inside an adult day care center. Many men smoking outside the entrance. We didn't realize it was located in the basement. Full disclosure, we did not make it in because we all felt very uncomfortable by everything going on at the entrance. Edit: This spa may well be one of the best in Northern NJ, but we did enter the building and the smell in the lobby was also so off-putting that we could not enter the basement door leading to the facilities. The information in this review is what i wished i knew so i could make an informed choice before my visit. There won't be a next time for me to "stop being a chicken", but everyone is free to make their own choices.

    * Everything in the review is from a visit on a very busy Saturday * First the positive: the actual banya (bath) facilities are very good. Nice medium-size swimming pool, great steam room and 3 different saunas (wet, dry and aroma - also infrared sauna, but we didn't try). There's also a small icy cold plunge pool and very good showers. The locker rooms are OK, nothing special and no complimentary body care products other than liquid soap (it would be nice to have q-tips, razors, moisturizer, etc). The layout of this place is odd - its in the basement under a shopping center. Things are laid out pretty randomly, its actually like a labyrinth, with different saunas in different corners of the space in between various dining/sitting rooms and the main bar. On this particular Saturday, the staff was obviously overwhelmed. Towels were all over the floor, the locker room was messy, uncleared dishes were on dozens of tables... it was not a pretty sight. There were more people than they could handle and they didn't seem to have a plan to make adjustments. Also, there was a big party in one room which seemed to get a lot more attention than the rest of us. The food here is pretty good - hearty, satisfying Russian fare (soups, meats, salads), they also have a full bar, but we placed our order and the waitress disappeared. After around 45 minutes we went to look for her but could not find her. Finally found another waitress who looked in the computer and said our order had never been placed. So we placed it again. Some food came in around 15 minutes, but we waited for the rest. Several waitstaff came by to check on us, they did seem to be trying. We finally got our appetizers two hours after placing our original order! When we left we complained to the management (as did many others on this day). One older manager made excuses - said they had too many people and were training new staff. I asked what their capacity was, he said more than 200 (pointing to the fire department capacity sign). I asked how many had been there and he said "less than 200." Hey guys, I think it is time to reassess the actual capacity of this place! On a holiday weekend either limit admission (of course they won't) or at least inform customers that it will be very busy so expectations can be managed. A younger manager was more contrite, admitted that they had problems and offered a discount After some discussion, we ended up accepting 20% off of our bill. My family like this place and we will probably go back, but definitely not on a busy holiday weekend! I would also recommend not sitting in the more isolated rooms if you want waiters to pay attention to you.

Horrible!!! The facility is outdated and unkempt from the front desk to bathrooms. The eating area is disgusting - tables were full of towels and dirty plates. In the bar - the cups were dirty and even the bottle beers were sticky. There was a drunk lady in Sauna who was super loud and was stumbling all over the place (how dangerous ) ! The paint in the pool room was chipping everywhere…. Worst experience ever! I felt like it was a scene of a scary movie. This place should be assessed there is no way this place passes safety inspections from the state.. I would give it a no star if possible.

I had a great experience at this spa. It was always clean and comfortable, and the staff handled the crowds well. There were no issues getting into any of the four spas, which included wet, dry aroma, dry hot, and dry regular. The lap pool and whirlpool were also great. The spa is family-friendly and there's no need to feel objectified or be naked. I appreciated the abundance of showers and towels provided. The food and drinks were also great. One thing to note is that this spa is Russian, not Korean. Overall, I highly recommend this spot for a relaxing day out.

Used to be a patron here for years. My wife and I would go with my friends every winter! Now the service has gone down hill. Last visit, the service staff was rude. Would randomly walk away in the middle of taking your order then you have to find her again or another staff to take the order. When we ordered the food, the staff decided to bring our food to the wrong private room, so the food just sat there. At the end they took the charge off my bill but they double charged my card. I honestly was very surprised on the poor quality of this place all the sudden. Hot tub was dirty, our private room had someone else's belongings there (purse, thermos, wallet). Guess the prime of every business ends sometime...

I was referred to BRC by a Russian friend of mine who is friends of the owner.. I arrived today October 30th.. the man with the beard work in the front desk was very very. Cold hearted , no customer service skills at all whatsoever. Very disappointing.. all he did was look down and playing with his self. I did not introduce myself as a friend of the owners, or Referral of the owners better yet… but honestly, it was a very disgraceful.. at check out he was not pleasant at all, placed my license on the desk.. I was very courteous and said have yourself a wonderful night he did not say a word looked down and played with his phone not welcoming at all.. person like this should not be at.. please get rid of him do something as soon as possible he is very disgraceful, and not pleasant for your business at the front desk.. . Honestly, if he was my employee, I would put him to work on the because that’s how he acts like trash. Get rid of him… I will be bringing it up to my friend who is a friend of the owner in Brooklyn, New York. .. whoever is reading this have yourself a wonderful, pleasant night. Thank you..

2nd time I came and the quiet room heated floors are out of order. Charging $55 for a visit and not having this is ridiculous. Please kindly fix it as soon as possible

Overall, it was a great place to zen out in the saunas. It's kept very clean by the staff and management, but it would be great if customer cleanliness and consideration were enforced. Some people tend to leave their used towels in the saunas and talk loudly amongst each other in the saunas or on their cell phones in the cafe area. Spa etiquette is important! With all being said, I would definitely recommend this place over any other bathhouse.

Whoever responds to all customer complaints should be fired immediately! If the owner of this bathhouse himself answers, then he either just arrived from Russia or never left. The rudeness and intensity of his responses to complaints is amazing... It seems that the owner is not trying to attract visitors and follow the rule of American business: “the customer is always right,” but is standing in the ring in the position of an attacker 🙀 Disgusting 🤦‍♀️ P.S. Your response to my comment confirms what I wrote above. As the famous Russian proverb says: only the grave can correct a hunchback 🤷‍♀️

My husband and I have been going here about 10 years now. As far as I know it’s the only coed bathhouse in the area, and we like to be with each other rather than separated. I think is very spacious, if a room gets too crowded, there are so many other rooms to choose from. Go early in the morning if you want the place to yourself. Love the mediation room with the heated floor. I have tried the salt room, very effective, you can taste the salt in your lips, and it might have cured my cold once. It’s a refined salt mist, great for the skin & most hair types. They provide plenty of towels & appropriate shoes. I appreciate the lock box for your valuables too. It’s just kind of hard to find the entrance, you have to park behind the building, walk in the back entrance and go downstairs. Everyone speaks English, so don’t be intimated, if anything they will offer you a tour so you can get an idea of the place before you commit to purchasing a day pass. Is the pool itself noisy and crowded sometimes? Of course, it’s a pool. But most of the rooms are silent or with quiet talking. I’ve never had the food, I usually bring a snack with me. Also, absolutely try the polar plunge, then immediately go to the sauna next to it, very good for your health.

I went here with a group of 3 on a Tuesday. Going during a quiet time is a must if you want a tranquil experience. The facility had lots of clean towels and the food was excellent. While some parts of the spa could use work (hot tub was too cold and there should be a policy about cell phone use to preserve the atmosphere), the overall experience was good. Give yourself 4 hours to do this the right way.

I recently visited BRC Spa and had an incredible experience. The facilities were pristine, with everything from the sauna to the plunge pool being expertly maintained. The food really stood out - it was some of the best Eastern European food I've had around this area! From the borscht to the pelmeni, everything was delicious and authentic. The staff was also amazing - friendly, attentive, and always willing to go the extra mile to make sure I had the best experience possible. It was the perfect environment to unwind and relax. I highly recommend BRC Spa to anyone looking for an exceptional experience. The facilities, food, and staff are all top-notch, and I can't wait to go back for more!

They sure love their bath houses and spas around here. Didn’t really take a lot of pics being I was busy sweating the life out of me in the steam rooms but it’s a pretty decent place. A little crowed but still worth the trip and a decent price

With such a variety of good quality sauna rooms and the cold plunge, this is the best Russian sauna place I know. You can even buy a broom and a hat right there. Food is incredible too. The only weird thing is why they keep letting in the guy in blue swimming trunks who is being racist and offensive to everyone. Called me “sweetie” and kept calling people names without stopping for a second, until I asked the staff to take care of it.

Nice facility, Best haircut around though. I ask for Christian every time and I’m never let down. Pricing is fair and he is the only barber I trust with my hair and beard.

Great escape from the grind of everyday life. They have a lot to offer but honestly I just hit the sauna, grab some food and hit a lounge chair for a nap lol. It’s a nice little mini getaway if you’re in the need for one.

I've only been here two times, but I love the place. My schedule allows for me to go during the less populated times of the day, and even though other people are there, I feel like I have the whole place to myself. The saunas are top notch, the food is great, (the options cover every type of eater), the servers are kind and helpful, and there are no lack of towels and amenities. I will continue to visit in perpetuity. I love this place!

I've been to this place twice. I love everything about it. The staff is not very conversing but neither am I. It works for me. The options of spas, the pool, the whirlpool is great. I don't agree with the negative comments. The place seemed very clean both times. It's great.

Was so upset when I heard Christian was leaving. He is the best barber in the world and now I have to make a trip out to go to this barbershop. That’s 100% worth that you could use the shower and much more different options.
