Although this place is really really beautiful but the locals have ruined the symphony of nature. Usually we blame tourists for mess and garbage(rightly so). But in Panchpula garbage belongs to the seller, there are many small stalls/restaurants side by side to the waterfall. One can understand the market and restaurants on the road but it shouldn't be at the waterfall. To make things worse they play loud music. Other than that the place is really beautiful it has flow throughout the year.

This is another tourist attraction in Dalhousie. Approx 3.5 kms distance from Gandhi chowk. This is tiny waterfall surrounded by much small cafes and gift shops. You have to climb to the top for good views of waterfall but place is overhyped as my opine.

I almost missed the entry point to this waterfall. There is a shirt flight of steps passing through tourist shops, cafes, trekking operators. The hike towards the waterfall is mere 15 mins. Since it snowed a week ago the pathway was filled with snow (my hands almost froze). Really loved the walk.

The waterfall is surrounded by a lot of cute cafes. There is a short climb to the top that provides excellent views, and you can enjoy tea amidst the soothing sound of water. The place is serene, especially when visitor numbers are low. Additionally, there are adventurous activities available.

Hoping to see and enjoy some natural beauty en route (while climbing up the steps) as well as at the waterfall, it turned out to be quite disappointing for me and my wife (both sr. citizens). The waterfall turned out to be a narrow stream of water. I didn't count, but there are more than 100 steps for sure. Both sides of the steps are totally commercialized with haphazard shacks (serving tea, snacks, etc) with scarce concern for the environment or the natural beauty of the area.

Lol. Its not such kind of waterfall. A very small waterfall that you can see in our home's scenary or in fountain. But there is a lot of big market to purchase things like shawls, wooden things, handicraft, kitchen and etc. You can also enjoy maggie in mountain kind of things there.

It’s a small waterfall around 2-2.5Kms from Gandhi square. We decided to hike to the place instead of taking taxi etc. The Journey to this waterfall was better than the destination I would say. Visit if you’ve spare time to kill or if you’re fond of touristy places. There are many small cafΓ©s you can eat at and games etc you can play. Don’t expect much from the waterfall though.

Panchkula waterfalls is just few kms away from Dalhousie. We visited there in the konth of may. So there was not very much water at falls. But it's very nice place to visit. Very nice scenery views. There are small snacks centers know the walkway to falls where you can have snacks like Maggi, momos, pakoda tea coffee etc, one of them serving hookah too... some adventure activities are also there like valley crossing and zapeling with all safety equipments. Visit to shiva caffe is must which in next to waterfall at topmost point. Overall it's nice place to visit.

The waterfall is tiny surrounded by a lot of cute cafes around. Shops along the way. There's a short climb to the top. Good views around the place if you climb down. Zip line above is good- you can bargain over the prices.

Great place gone wrong! Used to be beautiful step waterfall 5 years ago. In last 5 years too much encroachment of shops on this beautiful area that was cherished by locals! Local village panchayat and businesses have turned it into a local market than a tourist spot. Pictures are of the bad done and not the waterfall.

Panchpula, Dalhousie Shrouded by a green blanket of pine and Deodar trees and enfolding refreshing water streams, the picturesque Panchpula has always been one of the most favorite spots of tourists in Dalhousie. It is a nice picnic spot, where you can spend some time with your family and friends and enjoy the loveliness of exotic waterfalls and refreshing streams. Some of these streams even contain medicinal properties that are helpful in healing skin diseases. The Panchpula is a scenic place, which is surrounded by picturesque mountains and green valleys and is only three kilometers from the main city of Dalhousie. HighlightsThe weekend trip from Dalhousie to Panchpula is most popular among tourists, who make it a point to visit Satdhara springs on their way to Panchpula. The gushing sounds of the Satdhara springs leave a mesmerizing effect on the tourists. Another popular spot in Panchpula is the memorial monument, which was built to commemorate the revolutionary Sardar Ajit Singh. There are several streams connecting this place that makes this place look more beautiful and appealing. One can also find a restaurant, built by the tourism department of the state with the intent of serving tourists refreshments and beverages. There are many impressive waterfalls at Panchpula that looks best during the monsoon as everything around these falls buzzes with natural richness during the rainy season. Panchpula is also famous for many treks that originate here and leads to Dalhousie or other nearby destinations. Availability of water makes Panchpula the main source of drinking water, which is supplied to Dalhousie and other nearby towns. Everyone from adventure lovers to trekkers to photographers, love visiting this stunning destination which is surrounded by beauty. The best time to visit this wonderful spot is in summer and monsoon as the water gushes with full force during this season and the place looks its best.

Waterfall is small than expected. You will find board written 5 min walk but mind it it's 10 minutes climb stairs and trekking not walking . And surrounding area is heavily commercialized loosing natural beauty.

Panchpula is a beautiful place which is about 3 kilometers from Dalhousie. It is a picnic spot where you can spend time with your family and friends and enjoy the beauty of the extraordinary waterfalls and refreshing rivers. Panchpula water fall is basically famous for freedom fighter Shri Sardar Ajit Singh Ji which gave his life to get freedom for India. Apart from it, ou can enjoy scenic beauty and natural waterfall. This place is really get cold. It's near to Dalhousie mostly 4-5km. You will get satdhara on a way. But literally, there are multiple natural water sources coming out from mountains just like satdhara. Also, this satdhara is not working anymore.

If you are going to Dalhousie, then must visit the Panchpula waterfall. Beautiful waterfall, cold water and fun. On the way, you will find (almost all places in Dalhousie), people standing with rabbits and Australian Hamster. You can have picture with them for just Rs 20. It also has adventure games. Fee for each game is different. One can try these games as well.

Nice place to hangout. There is a amusement park for kids. And above there is a small market which is little expensive. You can find lot of activities like zip lining, Burma Bridge etc. There is a small waterfall here where you can have some pictures. There is a way to ganji pahadi from here only. Tracking lovers can have 1 hr tracking from here. This place is dedicated to kartar Singh sarabha, a freedom fighter.

Panchpula meaning where you see 5 streams. This is one the places you are suggested to visit whenever you go to Dalhousie. The whole place is built around a waterfall. There multiple cafes and market with local artifacts. With beautiful natural scenery you are by colorful flags and if you up the stream you can see the start of the waterfall. Both cafes have a option of hookah as well which is perfect for cold temperature. You will also multiple tea stalls with fire lit up when you go up the streams.

Traditionally it is a combination of 5 pools that allow the different flora and fauna passes through these channels covered with concrete so as allow the tourists to move freely other than uneven hills slabs. There are many more activities that have been carried on like zibling, hanging bridges/ rope ways crossing etc.

Beautiful place near to Dalhousie Pathankot road. There’s a small water fall where you can take beautiful photos with scenic beauty. One small adventure activity park is also there. And above all a small market to purchase local things like shawl, souvenir shops.

Waterfall is extremely small. You can say there in no waterfall. Crowded place. Too many shops near the location. In my humble opinion, if you are short of time, do not waste your time visiting this place. If you have enough time, take a walk from Gandhi chowk Dalhousie. Distance is approx 2.1 km. Final note- worth visiting only if you take a walk there.
